We came here for brunch and overall had a pretty good experience. I ordered the French toast and it was definitely on the sweeter side, but in a good way, really well done and satisfying. The drinks were okay, nothing bad, but probably not something I would order again next time. It was very easy to make a reservation, which I appreciated, and parking right in front made it super convenient. The place itself was busy and a bit loud, so just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quieter brunch spot. Stopped by Timber's Firehouse Grill with a good friend and happened to catch restaurant week, which was a nice surprise. The special included three courses and dessert. The cheese dip with bread started things off perfectly--rich, flavorful, and honestly worth the visit on its own. I followed that with lamb chops and mashed potatoes. They were well prepared, but lamb just isn't really my thing, so I didn't love it as much as I might have. Dessert, on the other hand, was a knockout. A chocolate creation that disappeared so fast I didn't even get a photo, which says it all. The staff was awesome--attentive, warm, and made the evening feel easy and welcoming. Focaccia is amazing. The gnocchi sauce had a bit too much pepper but the gnocchi itself is absolutely wonderful - a little large in size - but wonderfully made. The salmon was good. The chicken was chicken, but we're taking it home, and the mashed potatoes too, which were decently good as well. The macaroni was not my taste personally. The lemon butter cake was also fabulous - covid ruined lemon for me, but the warm cookie-like base and the berry sauce was a delicious take. They were very busy, and handled it alright. My husband and I were meeting for brunch and after seeing the wait time at SCBC, decided to come here instead and I'm glad we did - I didn't even know Timber had brunch, so it was a very pleasant surprise. For the table, we got an order of the focaccia and the meatballs. I got the baked Ricotta pancake. I asked our waitress if there were any potato sides (has browns, tots, etc) on the menu and she pointed out the potato rosti, so I tried that as well. I tried the focaccia with the triple creme Brie and it was delightful! The creme Brie really made it and the bread was soft and fluffy. I skipped the meatballs, but they certainly smelled great! The ricotta pancake was absolutely divine! It literally melts in your mouth, it's that tender. I was very very happy with this dish. The potato rosti was a bit of a letdown - it was like mushy hash browns and were barely seasoned. I would skip this next time. The food is very good, especially the stroganoff! The one thing I noticed was how uninviting the staff made us feel. The hostesses did not greet us with a smile, and the one that seated us looked borderline angry. Our waitress and server also appeared a bit unfriendly as opposed to greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome. Well this was fun! Saw randomly that this restaurant offers half price kids meals (+ a happy hour menu from 2- close) on Sunday only and decided to try it out. It was SO delish. They offer bottomless mimosas, bottomless bloody Mary's, and bottomless brunch cocktails- all for $15 each (penny refills). This is such a good deal!! The food is always amazing. Great food! Timber is BUSY at peak times so, be prepared to wait or make a reservation ahead of time. Their pizzas are unique and delicious. I had some of the red wine poached pear and it as perfectly balanced and sweet. The Cedar Plank Salmon is so good. Cooked perfectly and a generous serving. I feel like with some slight improvements this could be a phenomenal restaurant. There were a few aspects that just made it a mediocre meal when it could have been exceptional. I knocked one star off because the food could have been slightly improved. The Brussels sprouts were the worst I've had in Omaha. Undercooked huge pieces of sprouts that were blandly seasoned and lacked sauce. The bacon shrimp skewer was a waste of money - appeared to be doused in grease and presented with tasteless guacamole - was not jalapeño at all. I'm not sure what this dish is supposed to be but it just comes off as confused. The pizza turned out great and the focaccia bread was SUPER delicious. I do have to say the kids meals were a great price with awesome options and seemed to be enjoyed by the kids. I took off another star because the service was not the best. I felt the server was not happy we were her last table - which I happened to overhear the manager mention. Two kids, one adult, not the most exciting I guess. I ordered the kids meals first to get them going which I felt annoyed her and then was forgotten about when it was my time to order. I do have to say this didn't really matter because the food all came out in a very timely manner. However, when the food did arrive we were not checked in on and all needed refills, more utensils and never received water. I went to the bar and had to ask the bartender for waters since our server kept disappearing and the kids were complaining they were thirsty. Overall, I'd still try this place again in hopes that small changes make the big difference. The menu seems to have really great options and I hope to see them executed to perfection next time. I was very excited to try this place out but my experience there really disappointed me... I went with some friends on a Sunday afternoon and we had a HORRIBLE service. The waitress did not pay attention to us until 20 mnts after we got to our table, another one walked by our table making us feel like he didn't even see us and our water glasses or drinks never got refill. However, the only reason why this place doesn't get a lower rate is because the food was AMAZING, starting with the focaccia drums and the spread. My friends could not stop talking about the cubano or the burger. As for the chicken sandwich, I would say you should just skip it, it seems like this is not something that they master here, it tasted like any other chicken sandwich. Delicious. We were seated by a fireplace in back it was cozy and relaxing. I had the Croque, my hubby had the chicken and waffle and my son and his friend had the Timburger. I was told best ever. The reason I didn't give it five stars was the size of the chicken and waffle. My husband said it was good but a half of waffle and small pieces of chicken seemed like a small portion. My wife and I were looking for place we haven't been to before and Timber did not disappoint. It's taken me a little bit to post as we visited on May 25, 2025. It was a bit noisy in the front of the house and definitely a favorite meeting spot for folks. The hostess seated us in a nice quiet section in the back of the restaurant. Lighting was low and intimate. Our server was awesome, visited often, and spent time just getting to know us. I had the meatballs and rigatoni. IN...CREDIBLE. There was so much flavor and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the prohibition chicken and thought it was ok. She said it was well seasoned tasted good but just not very juicy. Date night at Timber was really a treat this weekend. Ambiance is casual elegance, if there's such a thing -- great crew, great service, nicely spaced tables and a broad selection of menu and drink items. My only negative is that's it's pretty loud, even earlier in the evening before reaching capacity. Our server recommendation of J Wilkes Pinot Blanc was a hit, and I'd be happy to order it again. A chef special of Rainbow Trout was eagerly ordered and devoured. Trout is a favorite of my partner, so he needed no time to make his choice. It wasn't as easy for me -- so many options to choose from! I went with stroganoff, which sounds like an odd, heavy choice when it's 90+ degrees out, but it's something I don't often make at home and it just sounded delicious: wood roasted reminiscing mushroom, truffle, pot roast, sherry cream sauce, house made papardelle -- what's not to love? And love it, I did! It wasnt at all heavy. The cream sauce was light and slightly boozy. After a house salad, I was stuffed halfway in, so I had scrumptious leftovers to take home. I think a dinner roll is in order with this dish, though. The sauce is amazing and very dippable. We ordered bread, which was extra, and nice, and served a purpose, but wasn't as great as the rest of the meal. Dessert was sadly disappointing. Cherry Struessel: streussel crumble, vanilla bean ice cream, housemade caramel. I was expecting something flakey, stuffed with cherries, topped with crumbles and a drizzle of caramel. What we got was more like an open-face mini cherry pie with tough crust, burnt on the edge. Maybe there were crumbles? But I didn't see or taste any caramel. (Which is ok I guess. In retrospect that would have been very rich.) The scoop of ice cream was quite large and yummy, though. Overall, great dinner! I look forward to a return visit. read more

The crispy chicken sandwich was crispy but still moist, and the Cole slaw gave it a great twist. It was a thinner chicken patty but it was great because it wasn't too thick and it was easy to eat. I've been wanting to try this place forever and it didn't disappoint. The cozy, wood filled space and a seat right by the fireplace made it the perfect spot, especially with the snow falling outside. I felt relaxed and at home. The focaccia with whipped ricotta and truffle oil was unreal, I could have eaten the whole thing.
