We have been here a few times now, and we get the beef soup every time. The tomato beef stew is absolutely delicious, you can really tell that they care about the quality and care that goes into their food. The service is wonderful, the gentleman in front is very kind and respectful. Takeout is always packed neatly to make sure the soup doesn't spill. a quarter of the way into eating the soy paste noodle i noticed some type of meat in the paste. I immediately called the restaurant and the person on the phone told me that the paste is mixed in with small potions of pork and that there must have been technical issues since they didn't see my wife's note. I maintain a vegan/pescatarian diet and my wife knows how sensitive i am to food outside my diet, so to be certain, when she placed our grubhub order she noted in the comments that they should make sure no meat is added to my dish. The guy on the phone seemed sincere and i appreciate his sincerity, but my stomach is going to be in pain for the rest of tonight and possibly tomorrow because of this slip up. Thankfully i'm not deathly allergic. So I wanted to write this note to warn any other vegans or vegetarians who plan on ordering the soy paste noodle or any other dish for that matter...triple check with them and then check again when you pick up your order. good luck! read more

Eaten here 5 times since it opened a week ago! I'm from the East coast originally and have been struggling to find real and authentic Chinese food since they left 2 years ago. I seriously can not get enough of these Dan Dan Noodles!!! They're the best I have ever had, and every single bite makes my eyes roll into the back of my head. The only other things I've ever tried are the spicy cucumbers and the dumplings -- both of which are outstanding!! The broth that is given to dip the dumplings in is incredible. I will keep forcing all of my friends to go here, and might even try something besides the dan dan noodles someday!! It would be hard, though, because they are out of this world!! read more

Brand new place so they don't have the best looking sign right now but don't let that throw you off. I work directly across the street so I figured should see what's inside and i'm glad i did. The wind chill was particularly rough this day so I was in the mood for something hot and steamy and their traditional northern chinese style beef noodle soup really hit the spot. Place is clean. The owners don't speak the best english but are super nice and welcoming. The soup was tasty, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Portion was perfect for the price. I like this kind of soup saltier and spicier than most so I did have to add a bit of soy sauce and hot chili oil to my taste but even without it you can taste the layers of flavor that were permeating throughout the dish. Definitely recommend and I will be coming back here with the wife and kids to try the rest of their options. read more

Excellent hand pulled noodles. I had the Dan Dan noodles and they were all-the-right-kind of chewy. The place is immaculate and very family oriented. My wife got the pork noodles and they were equally delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. We will be coming back very soon to try the soup and see if they can make different widths of noodles (the owner says they can modify upon request). This sort of place is a godsend since moving away from our favorite noodle shop in Texas (yes, Texas, of all places). read more
