If you're looking for food that's inspired by the Bay Area and only in the Bay Area, this is the spot! Trust me, let me put in somethin! In the urban landscape of Oakland, you'll find Señor sisig facing the street with a hybrid of open air feeling seating, as the rolling garage doors are put up to provide natural lighting and fresh air. But don't worry, you'll still smell all the delicious food they are making. We had wings, a mission burrito, a Crunchwrap, and the churros with ube macapuno dipping sauce. All of it was bussin! (And thats coming from someone whose first trip here wasn't a little lackluster, but everyone deserves second chances) Fair warning, some speciality items do have a wait time, so don't expect fast food restaurant speed when coming around for a bite. But trust, the wait is definitely worth it!

Senior Sisig is always a treat for us since we aren't exactly close to one. Got to try the Oakland only Ribeye Bistek Silog Burrito and it was fire! The rest of food was definitely delicious, just since this is a special I wanted to call it out. Came on a rainy Sunday so was not busy and got our food really quick. Great location, friendly staff, great food...Will be back again!

YEARS ago I tried one of the food trucks for Senor Sisig and remember not being impressed. Fast forward to now and for a co-workers lunch party we decided to walk over here with about 6 people. Surprisingly during lunch they had plenty of indoor seating. There is a kiosk you can order from or from an actual person. Their menu is pretty solid with plenty of options - burritos, salads, bowls. I will say this - their menu pictures online to NOT do their food justice. Based on the food menu pictures I was convinced that I would leave hunger but after ordering one of their bowls it was stacked with plenty of food AND flavor! The service was pretty quick and everything was very fresh and clean. I really like how they have roll-up windows so it gives an alternative vibe to the area. They have some great wall art along with a bar section. The price for the food is decent and I am very happy I tried this place again.

We got the California Sisig Burrito with pork. 10/10. I had no idea what to expect. I just know this place was popular and I had been wanting to give it a try. Not 1 complaint. The food was good. The staff were nice. And the restaurant was clean.

My first experience with Senor Sisig was having a burrito from their food trucks. Fast forward several years later, I finally had a chance to try some of their other menu items at one of their brick and mortar locations, conveniently located in the East Bay in Oakland. Parking is a bit tough, but free after hours (be sure to read the street signs). The restaurant is bright, has colorful wall murals that feature the Bay Area sports leaders (i.e., Curry, Henderson, Lynch, etc.) and Yay Area Rappers (i.e., Mac Dre, etc.), along with big windows areas that people can enjoy their food next to. There aren't many tables to accommodate large groups, at most maybe some can seat 3-5 people. It's fairly clean inside as well as the bathrooms - a huge plus! You can place your order with the staff or order on the kiosk. Some things to keep in mind is the menu items are a bit higher than a traditional burrito/taco spot; however, the food is a blend of Filipino and Mexican fusion. With their Sisig Tacos, The Senor Sisig Burrito, and California Sisig Burrito, Sisig Nachos, Sisig Fries, Sisig with Steamed Rice, Sisig Salad, you get a choice of pork, tocino, chicken, or tofu. There's also a Vegan menu available too. For most of the mains, you get to select the spice level at no extra charge. This time I tried the Chicken California Sisig Burrito ($16.75), which came out within ~10ish minutes. The burrito was very narrow/long, which made it easier to eat, but felt it lacked flavor and ingredients to make it more fulfilling to eat. The fries were a bit too soggy and perhaps the burrito could use more sauce or seasoning on the chicken to make the experience more delightful. I also tried their Crispy Sinigang Wings ($17) - these were flavorful, tender, and juicy. The side of fries ($3) were fairly basic. Overall, this is a great food spot to come with friends, family, or for date night, especially before doing an escape room or checking out a show/concert a few blocks downtown. :)

Senor Sisig has been on my want-to-go list for a while, and I finally got the chance to try it. We ordered a Tosilog Burrito with a side of habanero salsa and a Chicken Senor Sisig Bowl. I really enjoyed their Tosilog Burrito, which came with Filipino sweet pork, adobo garlic rice, tomatoes, and a fried egg. The sweet pork had a really unique and delicious flavor.

FOOD: Party ordered multiple burritos. They were salty for our liking and didn't have that oomph I typically get when eating Filipino food. It didn't mesh well together imo. But I wanted Asian food soo badly, haha. SERVICE: Given how crowded they get they were really efficient, and the line moved quickly. I got my food and left, what more could I ask for. AMBIANCE: Good luck getting a table...I mean you could just eat outside and bring the tray back, which is what I did.

My husband and I decided to stop by for dinner since they were on inKind. It has been a while, but I remember that they were located at a different location in Oakland. Anyway, I liked the open space and all the art decor! The restaurant was also extremely clean. There were only a few people inside when we arrived on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. I couldn't order on their kiosk since I was using inKind and needed to enter a check number. We waited about 10 min before the staff brought out our food. I ordered a Pork California Sisig Burrito, and my husband got their Chicken Sisig Crunch a Dilla (similar to a Crunchwrap Supreme). Both items were extremely salty and overpriced in my opinion, especially since there isn't anything special with their food. I was hoping for a different taste this time around, but I was wrong. Not sure if I'll come back unless they have happy hour, but I do love the vibes.

The pork sisig burrito and crispy wings were delicious, I highly recommend both of those. The service was fast and friendly, helpful and kind workers here. It is also clean inside with lots of seating. I like the open window you can sit at. I'll be back for sure.

    Lechon Kawali Plato

My wife & I came here on a Sunday right around noon.  We were able to find parking on the street (free on Sundays) without any problems.  We ordered the Lechon Kawali plate and Crispy Sinigang Wings, along with a Calmansi Ginger Limeade (for her) and a Pandan Iced Tea (for me).  The server said that the lechon would take about 20 minutes, which was fine for us.  We took our drinks and sat at the bar.  The TVs on that side of the restaurant were playing random college basketball.  The server asked us if we wanted to watch something else and gave me the remote so I could change it to the NFL playoff game. After a little bit, the server brought us our food, along with a side of white steamed rice.  We started with the lechon plate, piling on chunks of meat inside a corn tortilla, adding in the BBQ sauce and pickled onions.  (While the habanero salsa was very flavorful, it was a bit spicy for our taste).  The pork was chopped small enough to fit inside the corn tortillas, making it easy to eat.  Then, we tried the wings.  The sinigang dry rub gave the wings a great tangy flavor, both by themselves and with the tamarind dipping sauce (which was a little spicy, though less than the salsa).  There were 6 tortillas in the lechon plate and 6 wings in one order, so this was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.  The place was busy for a Sunday afternoon. with most of the dine-in patrons also watching sports.  They also had a lot of to-go orders lined up.  But the wait for the food was worth it, and we'll come by again when the Warriors are playing.

I stopped here for dinner because my partner always comes here whenever in the area. He couldn't recommend this place enough, however, we both left pretty disappointed. I'd describe the food as "perfectly edible." I had no major complaints besides the fact that we ordered the burritos medium spice and there was no spice to be found. Otherwise I'd say there was just nothing noteworthy about it. It wasn't justified for the price. The service was good so I'll give them props for that. They gave us drink samples and a free side of salsa.

    Vegano chicken senor sisig burrito
    Sydney J.

This review encompasses multiple additional visits to this Senor Sisig location. Vegano silog burrito with vegan chicken, no spice: It mostly just tasted like egg and tomato, some parts of the rice and protein were salty and maybe had black pepper too, which I do like. I would probably want to try California burrito next time because it has fries in it which I'm sure would add some crunchy texture as well as tasty salt and fat, and you can modify it to have no guacamole. Vegano chicken taco, asked for no spice and no jalapenos: The vegan chicken definitely tastes like soy meat, for better or worse. It came with two tortillas and cilantro cream sauce. It was just so-so as tacos go, and I don't like cilantro, so I probably wouldn't get this one again. Too Good to Go surprise bags: I've gotten one on two different occasions. The second time, I arrived at the beginning of the pickup window, but needed to wait about 5 minutes for them to prepare the boxes since they weren't actually ready with the surprise bags. But they heaped the container full of rice, guacamole/green sauce, meat (this time it tasted like the vegan meat, whereas the first time I got the surprise bag it was probably actual chicken), beans, and salad. The surprise boxes are definitely a good deal - almost a third of the cost that it normally would for that quantity of food - so it's no wonder I typically see they get bought up very quickly when they get offered on the app.

Hi , How is the parking in that area , I'm not from Oakland so im not sure how the parking is and is it free? By card or coins?

It's tucked away in Oakland in a spot you might easily drive past without noticing. The setup is simple: order at the window, get a vibrating pager, then pick up your food when it's ready. They also have outdoor seating, which is perfect if you're bringing your dog along. They offer all kinds of silog meals, and honestly, before coming here, I thought all silog places were pretty much the same. While standing in line, I had no clue what to order. The special that day was the G Fire Short Ribs, and I kept going back and forth between trying something new or playing it safe. I ended up getting the pork tocino silog, and for the second dish, I almost ordered the spare short ribs. Thank God I got the G Fire Wings instead. OMG. OMG. OMG. These are hands down the BEST wings I've had in the Bay Area. The skin is crispy and crunchy, but the moment you bite in, the meat is unbelievably juicy. Seriously, when do you ever get wings that are actually juicy? Most wings are dry. Not these. The flavor, the sauce, the seasoning--everything is absolutely incredible. It's the kind of food that makes you lick every finger afterward. If it were socially acceptable to eat the bones too, I probably would have. And here's the funny thing: while I was in line, it seemed like everyone ordering was getting the G Fire Wings. Now I know why. If this place were closer to where I live, I'd be here all the time. I'm still thinking about those wings days later. The good news is we go to Oakland at least once a month for hiking and camping, and now Lucky Three Seven is officially part of the tradition. It'll either be our reward after finishing a hike or our stop before heading to camp. Thank you, Warren, for recommending this place. You absolutely nailed it. Our total for 2 entrees and 2 drinks was $60 before tip. We ordered two drinks (orange juice and an iced mocha) which were provided promptly. The orange juice was a little too sour and my mom had to add some sugar to improve the taste. The iced mocha was good, not too sweet. One thing to note the wait for our food took much longer than expected, and it may have been due to how busy it was. My mom opted to order the salmon yuzu benedict and I got an egg plate (scrambled eggs) with a side green salad. My mom mentioned the potatoes lacking salt but she enjoyed the salmon benedict. I thought the scrambled eggs were good, but slightly bland & needed salt and pepper. The side green salad was alright, but the vinaigrette had a bitter aftertaste. Overall, the meal was pretty good and timing wasn't the best. I'd likely return for brunch on a non-peak day. Definitely recommend joining the yelp waitlist prior to arriving if you can!

Everyone loved the food and the drinks never disappoint. Everything was delicious. The ube butter with the warm pan de sal - so simple, comforting and delicious. I love the fried oyster mushrooms and I don't even like mushrooms. The ube waffles are crisp and chewy. The kamayan spread is really a work of art. Ok, even the grapes were good. We took them to go. Nothing was going to waste. As we were wrapping up lunch, the staff helped set up a table for mahjong. We brought a couple of sets from home. Everyone loved learning and re learning how to play. Will definitely be hosting another mahjong night for a group event. Love this community space. Understory encapsulates the communal Filipino culture and the community in Oakland.

Their famous buffet was not offered during the week at the time, just weekends, so a good excuse for me to come back another time soon. They had an extensive menu and I chose several mothwatering options for takeaway: Beef Pares Pork Sisig Pinakbet with Pork Belly The food was fresh with truly authentic flavors and exceptional textures (hint: crispy pork belly!). The portions were fairly priced for the generous size. I definitely can't wait to try more of their delicious dishes at a weekend buffet in the near future! Their catering menu seemed intriguing, extensive, and fairly priced for future party reference!

We went yesterday because we had family visiting and wanted to treat them to an authentic Filipino meal. We spent over $200 and tipped well. They were happy with the food, and enjoyed the portions, but the service was pretty lacking. We were the only table there. The did not check on us at all. We had to ask for water to be refilled. When it came time to take food to go, we had to ask for the container, bags, and the right sized containers and the right sized bags. The older woman with the jet black hair was the one who rude and dismissive. When I asked her for a larger bag, she said that was the largest one. I pointed out that we gave them a very generous tip and that I see larger brown bags, but she still did not offer me one. She was very defensive, and said she thought I was referring to a plastic bag. Folks, don't make the mistake of over tipping here. You don't get the service you expect and deserve. The food is good though, but the service sucks! We spent, with the tip, about $240.
