I love taking my dog to this Ebar location right after I finish my shopping at the Irvine Spectrum! It has become a wonderful little routine for us. The service here is consistently very good, and the staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming to both me and my pup. I really appreciate how incredibly pet-friendly they are--it makes the experience so much better. This is rather where you will end up with because you happen to be outside or too lazy to walk to some other place . I ordered a small honey almond latte, and when I got my drink it was almost completely white. When I tasted it, all I could pick up was almond and milk -- there wasn't even the slightest hint of coffee flavor (I'm sure there was espresso in it, but it definitely didn't come through). When I went back to the bar, I tried to be as polite as possible, but the barista seemed pretty unhappy to be dealing with me and was very monotone in her response. She told me the drink only comes with one shot of espresso and walked away. Noted -- but honestly, the drink truly tasted like coffee wasn't even present. Don't think I'll return back to that location or order that drink again. read more

Stopped in for a basic coffee, and also a snack. The employee recommended a Gomacro blueberry and cashew butter bar, not something I would normally try, but I decided to go with her suggestion. Wow! The bar was really good, very filling and had a good amount of protein with not too many calories. Glad I went with her recommendation. This has to be the biggest Ebar we'v ever visited. A lot of seatings both indoor and outdoor. For some reason I didn't see any gluten free snacks at this location. There are always some at Brea location. I ordered lavender chai and matcha with coconut milk. Hubby had cold brew as usual. The pours were quite generous. A very run-of-the mill grab and go coffee shop, but it unexpectedly saved me! I swear I didn't mean to clickbait y'all, but inside, there's about 4 tables, with WIFI(!), and it's open till 7, which is a great time to get work done. I had some studying I needed to do, and Capitol One Café, of course, was jammed-packed with people. This was one of the only other sit down cafés in Spectrum, so we settled. The menu was quite simple, as you can see in the picture, but I did order a cortado for $4.50, which was off the menu. So prices are quite high, but expected for the area. The service was great too, since the staff were super friendly. The spot can be quite loud though, with a good number of people shifting in and out. read more

I went there yesterday and walked up to the barista, and asked her in a very nice voice, "Do you allow for refills with your iced tea?" She turned away and yelled to her manager who verified that yes they do have refills. I said to her, "You learned something new today." She looked at me and said nothing. She kind of gave me a smirk. This is a nice place that has good drinks in a very crowded environment. They do have a lot of employees but none of them are wiping tables, helping guests, seating people, managing the long line of people out the door, or greeting people who just walk in. It seems like everyone in there is unhappy with their jobs. Pros: fantastic iced tea, coffee drinks, and snacks. (the products are excellent.) Cons: not friendly, cold, unhappy baristas. Dirty, cluttered tables, lack of management. It might just be I got the wrong person on the wrong day....based on the other reviews which seem positive on service and friendliness. I actually enjoy my visits to Ebar, better than Starbucks, in my own personal opinion. I love their Lemmon cake and their Honey Almond hot lattes. This particular Ebar is located just outside the Nordstrom's (usually they are inside). Prices are very similar to Starbucks but I do enjoy this place better. read more

VERY BAD, VERY EVIL I bought a cup of Mango smoothie at Ebar Nordstrom Irvine on March 22, 2024. I paid $8.50 plus $1 tip. Yet their employee just made it with water and a small pack of mango. It tasted very bad. Later, I found blood in my stool. If it is their store recipe, the store needs to be shut down. If their employee is evil, she needs to be punished. On a recent morning at the Irvine Spectrum I found myself in need of some coffee and a pastry (or two). I spotted the Nordstrom eBar and popped in. There was a short line of three people in front of me and within 5 minutes it was my turn. Service here was very friendly. I ordered a regular mocha as well as a basil gruyere croissant and a huckleberry donut with maple glaze. The mocha was very good - no complaints. The donut was terrible; very dry and the "maple" glaze had no flavor. The only good thing about the donut was the clever way they put a donut hole in the donut hole. Unfortunately it was so bad I only took a couple bites. The croissant was okay although I couldn't taste any basil and some of the cheese was hard (like when you leave cheese exposed to the air for too long). I'd come here for the drinks but skip the pastries. read more

The Nordstrom eBar in the Irvine Spectrum. This is a small cafe that is right outside the Nordstrom. They have a variety of drinks from coffee drinks, tea, smoothies, and daily specials that is posted by the cashier. I got the Grande Cold Brew which is their medium sized drink. The pricing is really not bad. It's pretty much the same as most cafes or even slightly less since it was $3.45 and their large is $3.90. The service is very good and fast, and the drink was pretty good as well. The Cold Brew had a bold flavor and with a touch of cream and a little sweetener, it was just right. There is a good amount of inside and outside seating here. The special of the day which was the blood orange spritzer did sound pretty nice on a hot day, but I love my coffee drinks so I stuck with my choice. read more

I have worked across the street from the spectrum for almost 9 years and never tried this place until last week. What a bonehead am I, as this is the only coffee shop here that makes a good dirty chai latte. Now, fair warning that their menu is really small and the only chai latte on it is a ~lavender chai~ and I haven't been brave enough to ask if they do a normal one, but it's still the best one in this whole mall. Your favorite drinks may not be on the menu but a good and simple one awaits! It's also pretty quiet here and the remnants of global village coffeeehouse decor are a joy to relax in for the 3 minutes it takes to prepare an order. If I have one recommendation for management it's to doubledown on the 90s vibe since it doesn't seem like this place has quite decided to modernize. read more

Small store, but not crowded at all when I went in about late afternoon. I was waiting for my drink at a table and was wondering what was taking so long. I still hadn't heard them call out my name. Both my friend and I were just chatting and I glanced over and there was a drink sitting there and no one else had walked in since I order. I walked over and behold, it was my drink.
