I love that this place plays music at a comfortable sound level. Clean location. Empty since I arrived an hour before closing. Drinks came out perfect. Blueberry scones were very dry though. Like hard to eat kind of drink. Drink a gallon of water to wash down each bite kind of dry. Basically, drier than the Sahara Desert. No moisture in sight. Just crumbles. Okay I will stop this lol But you get the picture. Service was great. The gal who helped me was very sweet and kind. She offered a car holder for the drinks and a place to hold the muffins since my hands were full. She made the drinks perfectly. I ordered a regular hot chocolate and a white mocha with no whip cream and almond milk. Mine was great. It hit the spot! My boyfriend finished his hot chocolate too. Horrible service. The girl at the Register at 3:03pm was mean. I have a 5 year old and the girl called my daughter "whiny". She said," do you still want the chocolate croissant since she is whining." After eating lunch nearby, my coworkers and I stopped in here for a drink before heading back to work. I went with a grande cappuccino. I know that foam is part of the drink. However, when I opened up the lid, I saw that even with everything in there, it didn't fill up to 3/4 of the cup. This seems to happen at some Starbucks. Another very nice SB location. It can be hard to find this SB as it's sort of wedged in next to the Ace Hardware, and it's a bit small compared to many SB, but the inside is pleasant and with a lot of nice seating outside, it's better to be outside rather than in. This Starbucks isn't horrible but it's not the best, but Starbucks is also a chain coffee shop and I honestly no longer expect anything amazing from it at this point, as the bigger a business grows the less the quality becomes. This location specifically lacked organization and communication amongst its team and this is what this review is for. I placed a pick up order the day before and me being in a rush and exhausted, I forgot my food order but got my coffee (totally my mistake). I called them to inform them about the forgotten food and that I could not come back to get it (I was already on the freeway), they informed me they could not give me a refund over the phone (kind of weird and surprising) but offered to replace my food items the same day or following day, the employee I spoke to said they will write it in the book so it is on record and to come back when I can for my forgotten food items. I came back this morning around 8am and it was extremely slow and they had about 4 staff behind the counter. I informed the employee at the cash register of the mistake and that whomever I spoke to said they wrote it down in the "book"?? she seemed confused but took care of the order for me. After a few minutes I got my first food item which was a breakfast sandwich and I waited almost 15 additional minutes for my sugar plum danish.. As I watched them put out a bunch of food items I asked where my danish was, as I was confused how I got the breakfast sandwich quickly but not the danish.. and the girl responds with "there was mobile orders we did first" like ok.. again still don't know why I got my sandwich almost immediately and waited almost 15 additional minutes for a danish. If it was overwhelmingly busy I would understand, but it wasn't... I have been to other Starbucks locations that are slammed with in person and pick up orders and still be on top of stuff. Hence why I mentioned there is a lack of organization and communication in this location. I should have checked my items but I figured they would get it right considering it was pretty slow, but no come to find out they made a mistake and gave me the regular cheese danish instead of the Sugar Plum one. Not the biggest deal but still annoying.. This location has a huge lack in efficient function. Employees don't seem to communicate well with each other. This is convenient for me as it's on my route to work but I think I'll stick with the location off of Red Hill and Bristol and drive the extra couple minutes. read more

This is place is big with lots it's seating area. The inside is well cleaned and very organized. Upon entering a staff member greeted me and made my experience that much better. I saw down at the table to observe the employees and guests.....:and wow they always go out of their way to make sure their guests are attended and assist them whenever possible. One tiny flaw would be that they are a bit under staff as the line to order tends to grow and grow. But overall this place is good to come and get some work done. I give it four stars because it's super busy here and guests just come in and take up the tables and not order anything from Starbucks. But that is usually to all places. This is a brand new location that opened October of 2017. While the space is new and everything is kept clean, it's one of the smallest Starbucks I've been to in the Irvine area. There is only one long bench of seating and while there is outdoor seating, there are no outlets. However, if you do have to sit outside, the tables adjacent to Starbucks is close enough to tap into the superfast Google wifi network. The baristas here are friendly, parking is shared with the adjacent businesses, but there isn't much activity going on here that would making finding a spot that difficult. I wish they would implement some sort of policy that requires patrons to purchase something (other than water) every 2 or 3 hours they plan to stay here, it'll cut back on the folks that camp here all day. read more

This Starbucks is located in University Park Center. Contrary to other Starbucks, this branch is not a PokéStop and also doesn't have one in the vicinity with weird coordinates. It's one of the reasons I avoid coming here since the plaza is entirely devoid of PokéStops. The staff was nice and understood my customization request. On the other hand I did not understand their response and had to guess what they were saying. *nod without confirmation* It tasted pretty good and came out fast. Another wasted Starbucks. I can never seem to get a correct and timely order out of this place. The only good thing about this place is nothing really, what am I saying. The baristas need more training or they just don't care to follow standard recipes or procedures. My shots have been stale and the ratio of mix is extremely inconsistent. They can't seem to get a food order and a drink order out at even close to the same time. I usually have to remind them I have a food order and I then I get an oh ya. Who ever the skinny guy with the dark black hair is, he is extremely unapproachable by just the scowl or maybe it's just a completely blank look on his face. The cashier repeats it back correctly. Then it comes out as a hot green tea. What's wrong here?
