I don't appreciate that men are walking in and out while my wife is in the changing room area. It's super frustrating there should be designated changing rooms for men and women. Nordstrom Rack - Department Stores Near Me - Cerritos, California

It all started with a simple search for the perfect sports coat for Mother's Day. I searched my usual stores including one of my go to spot Nordstrom Rack. I usually find what I'm looking for there, in this case they had my sports coat but did not have my size 40R. So, I went to my trusted app where they had my size and even another sports coat I purchased together. It was May 5th around 8:00 in the morning I ordered both sports coats, but the delivery date was May 15th - 17th after Mother's Day. It was a good deal, so I purchased(order#424249316) and waited for the delivery email communication. Mother's Day came and went and on Monday May 15th I went to the store to see if my order was ready. Once at the store the employee advised me that she could not find my order and it was not there. I checked the app while in the store and it said arriving between May 15th - 17Th. The employee said to wait for the ready to pick-up email with the barcode before returning to the store. It's May 17th and the app said preparing for pick-up, I called the store and the employee said he could not find my order and it sometime can take a day or two before it arrives at the store. Today is May 18th and 13 days has passed with no sight of my order, I called customer service where she had the store check for my order when she returned to the call, I was advised that my order was delivered to the store on May 9th four days after I placed it. So not only did my order arrive four days later in time for Mother's Day it sat there with no notification for 13 days. At this point my frustration was at its wits end. She advised me that one of the sports coats may have been lost in transit and to go to the store to pick-up the one jacket that arrived on the 9th, which I was not advised via the traditional email or via the app. Right after the call amazing I received an email stating that one of my sports coats is ready for pick-up and the other was returned for a refund. A sports coat that I never received, which made it look like I returned it. I got to the store where I asked to speak with the manager and explained to both the floor and store manager what had happened and why there was a disconnect with this communication. They both just said "I'm sorry and we have been having several issues with online orders and with the 3rd party delivery company..." as a customer dealing with Nordstrom any service failure whether it's not Nordstrom's fault or not for them to blame the 3rd party is unacceptable. When there is a service failure I the customer only see the face of NORDSTROM not even NORDSTROM RACK, I don't see the 3rd party. Nordstrom needs to train and give their customer service agents along with store managers more tools to resolve horrific situations like this. So, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highly likely how likely do you think I will refer or do business with NORDSTROM or NORDSTROM RACK in the future? read more

Nordstrom's has good quality clothes that you could buy at any other retailer across the street at Cerritos Mall. This Nordstrom's Rack over prices their merchandise. I received a gift card and had to walk around the store for over an hour trying to find multiple items that I could buy with the $25.00 gift card and it was nearly impossible. Great shoe selection - picked up some really cute Vince Camutos at a reasonable price. Service at the register was off putting. The cashier, Priscella, asked for my rewards number which I gave to her and she claimed I didn't have a card and asked me to open one. I was sure I had one and said no I don't want to open another one - told her three times but she kept pushing. Then she asked if I wanted to donate to a cause and before I can answer she says "I know you aren't going to donate, but we HAVE TO ask." How rude can you be. When I put my card in the card reader, my email pops up. Hmmm...why would that happen if I don't have a rewards account? Never have this issue at Nordstrom's/Rack before so i don't know what this lady is on about. I go home and decide to order some more stuff online and check my rewards account - yup same phone number I gave her and everything. Some people need to be trained on customer service and being polite. This is the second bad experience I've had at Nordstrom's in Cerritos and Nordstrom Rack in Cerritos in the past month. If the service is going to continue on like this - I'll keep all my shopping to Anthropologie instead. read more

I always love shopping at the Rack or at least browsing to see what is new or what is on sale. Service was nice here, not too busy and the great thing about the Rack is that you can check out with pretty much any employee (look for a bright green shirt) and avoid the wait in line. Their return policy and online ordering is fantastic, they always have great designer items here and good deals. read more

An employee was in front of the store with a megaphone yelling at people outside that they were having a clearance on shoes! Megaphone! The vibe is way below all other 7 Racks I've been to in Socal. Even below Ross! How is it possible for a store to receive the crap of the crap from Nordstrom? Is this store management issue or corporate trying to end this store? There is no deals here!! Busy store and there is lack enough cashiers to process everyone which leads to unnecessary long lines. Pushy on their pitch for the Nordstrom card, even though I have declined twice in their pitch. Longer pitches for each customer means a longer wait in line. This location does not have the dedicated return station that other Nordstrom Racks have which would help cut back on the wait, especially after the holidays. Cellular reception varies here, so if you want to find if the item is available online in your size you'll need to use their wifi. The store is tidy for a Nordstrom Rack, but the variety pales in comparison to other Nordstrom Racks. read more

As much as I love Nordstrom rack and the excitement that builds up to this day of Black Friday where the clearance is an additional 40% off, today re-assured me that I won't be going back. Here is why: The over all experience I had was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a retail store in a very long time. I arrived a little later to avoid the mad rush at 9am (even though online said stores opened at 8am). Upon arrival there was one cart left. It just so happened to be a semi broken cart bc one of the wheels was so caught up with hair in it...Human hair... that the cart wouldn't really roll right, needless to say it's a sale day so I'll chance it. I spent 45 mins shopping around bc their clearance wasn't not in the designated area. It was all throughout the store. After finding several amazing dresses I had been wanting I went over to the shoes. The area was very congested so I pulled my cart aside into an area a little out of the way so people could pass by. I found a pair of boots that were previously tagged clearance, but now had the original sticker over top. I asked an associate to check the price for me incase they marked clearance and not marked as such. I said I would follow him bc I know it's crowded and he might not be able to find me easily. We were literally gone just steps away for about 2 mins tops. Enough for him to scan the item. When I came back, my car was gone. Apparently one of the associates assumed it was an "abandoned cart" and put all of my items back. After all that work and me literally stepping away from a minimal amount of time on one of the busiest holiday shopping day of the year, she thought my cart was "abandoned"? The place was insane. There were workers walking around slowly, aimlessly, and not attentive, except for the guy that helped me even though he was helping another customer, which is why I was very confused why my cart was gone. After me asking 3 associates where my cart is at and then telling me my items were put back, they end up telling me my items ended up in the fitting room. By this point I'm livid! I had just spent 25 mins looking my cart all around the store, was tired, and ready to go. I was so frustrated that I asked to speak to a manager. The manager lacked on customer service. She was very bland about the incident, she did absolutely nothing while seeing my arms full with the dresses. Her lack of concern is the reason why I will never be going back to Cerritos NR. After speaking with the manager, I finally decided to put my items back bc #1 she offered zero help. 2 her apology for customer service lacked empathy. 3 there are plenty of places I can give my money to that will at least offer me a cart while I'm standing there holding 4 maxi formal gowns. I don't know what her name was bc she never introduced her self to me, but I do know she had long blonde hair and a very dry personality. As a business owner myself, customer service is #1. Your job is to always make sure your guests leave feeling they are appreciated. This manager did not offer this for me and most likely others as well. There's nothing like the look and smell of a brand new store! This is a brand spanking new Nordstrom rack in the shopping center that also has two of my other fashionista favorites - Saks Off Fifth and TJ Maxx...oh yeah! And, the best part - it's right across the street from the Nordy's full line store. Somebody please save me now! I could've shopped in here for hours, but after scouring all the designer shoe racks, contemporary wear, bathing suits, active wear, and handbags, I felt confident that I had snagged some stellar deals. Steal of the day - my sultry lace off the shoulder designer shorts romper in clearance for $5.00. Don't hate. The struggle is real, but I persevered. Needless to say, I scored some ridiculously awesome deals here. The store is immaculately clean, well organized, and, the store associates are really friendly. Now that's the Nordstrom experience. I used to love shopping at this location but each time I visit it looks more cluttered than the previous visit. I was there on 11/11/21, and the entrance is almost blocked off by items (almost looks like a wall) that seemed purposely placed. As I was leaving the store, there were a few costumers entering and we were all bottled up trying to make our way out/ in of the store. A complete hazard!!! Bit unfair to rate a store during the height of the Christmas season, but here are my initial impressions. - Generous amount of free parking. They share the lot with several other discount stores (Saks: OFF 5th, Skechers shoe store, TJ Maxx), BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, and a huge 24 Hour Fitness center. - Lots more clothes than shoes or handbags. Perhaps because Saks: OFF 5th carries more handbags than I've seen in one store in a long long time. - Stock disheveled. - Check out makes no sense to me. They don't have a counter with cash registers. Sales staff with hand-held computers standing at a tiny desk surrounded by customers. A sign above them announced "Pay Here." Too unstructured for me, especially at Christmastime. I left without buying anything. I'll be back in the new year. read more

I was really excited when Nordstrom decided to open a discounted store, but over the years of visiting different Nordstrom Racks, I've been consistently disappointed. Despite there being a lot of merchandise, you either pay a lot for name brands or get cheap prices for unknown brand name items. A majority of the clothes items here aren't even sold at regular Nordstrom stores. Yes, occasionally there's a great find for a name brand item but it's more the rarity and often you have to 'hunt' for these items. Honestly, I feel you can get better deals at actual outlet malls for specific name brands. read more

I came in the store with a face shield. Greeted by employees and the security at the door and no one said anything if it was not okay. During shopping I had to remove my face shield to read my phone and not even more than a minute I was asked to cover my face immediately. I proceeded to the shoe section with my face shield on and I noticed 3 employees started following me like waiting for me to take them off. One of them casually greeted me just to make sure I'm wearing them. They must not need the business that they're willing to make their customers feel uneasy and give them the worst shopping experience. This Nordstrom Rack is trash! Upon entering you feel the vibe of it being messy and things all over the place. In spite of that there are rude employees working there. I am speaking on particularly one that assisted me the other day. I wanted to exchange an item and she made it very difficult to do so. I could not explain anything to her as she did not seem empathetic at all. Another employee was called over and this same employee brushed her off with rudeness. Nordstrom always had good customer service but one older Asian sales woman at this Cerritos Nordstrom Rack location can use some training on courtesy; she always started weird chit chat conversation that got into personal stuff. I found it very annoying. When I was in line and it's her turn to service me, I just told the person behind me to go ahead of me. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. I went on Memorial Day and they were having a sale to die for (25% off clearance and 50% off boots). The store was packed but there were associates everywhere to help and assist with a SMILE. The line to check out was crazy long but EVERY register was OPEN. The best part while in line they kept announcing over the loud speaker that they were sorry and appreciated our patience and were doing the best they can to get us checked out as soon as possible. WOW, who does that...NORDSTROMS DOES. The line went fast but the fact that they acknowledged it and apologized was AMAZING (plus my boots for $12.00 WOOHOO). read more

I like this Nordstrom Rack because it has more stock and inventory than some of the other racks in the area. It seems to get more turnover and new things coming in all the time. I am a member of the Nordy Club and have racked up points over the years and gotten my $20 to use several times. One of the cleanest nordstroms rack I've been too! I grew up in Cerritos and it's crazy how this plaza has changed so much. In this plaza there's saks fifth, dsw, and restaurants that you can take breaks and catch a meal There's a lot of parking available (not sure how it'll be when most of the stores open up in the plaza. Looked like there were some stores that are still in the process of opening up). Inside the store, the clothes/shoes/jewelry are at the right place (by size and color), where they say it's going to be at. Some places, I've noticed that the clothes are all over the place.
