I really need to go to Nordstrom Rack more often. If only I can stand crowds. I went at the "most opportune" time on a Friday afternoon trying to kill some time to avoid traffic and get an extra outfit for an engagement shoot. There were crowds of course but everything went surprisingly smooth. I got an extra dress (no line in the dressing room yay!) and the fiance got something although I can't remember what he got. I wish I would've got some shoes but the section is so chaotic and disorganized, I just couldn't shop in peace. The line was long but went by quickly. So glad about that. I honestly don't know Nordstrom Rack is always packed! Everytime I come it there's always a big crowd in line. I guess I'm one of the unlucky few that usually walk in here and leave w/ nothing. It's usually hard for me to find a good deal on shoes or clothing because they never have my size (i'm assuming because most of it are bought by many other ppl my size). Nordstrom Rack is a solid discounter store that sells some of the best clothes around. I purchased a watch at a huge discount, and you can find many great deals here. Unique to the store is a designer section, where you will find clothes selling for $300+. The catch: they are marked down from their prices of $1000+, and many items are discounted in excess of 80%. I'm not a huge fan of designer clothes, but if you like them it would be worthwhile to shop here. read more

Whenever my brother's in town, he always wants to go to the Rack. He's been to so many, all over Cali. This is his fav. He doesn't mind driving over 40 miles, passing 2 other Racks. I must say, they have the biggest store, selection of designer (women's jeans, girl's clothes) , and the customer service is surprisingly pleasant. I always seem to find the sizes and dresses (casual & formal) for my 4 yr old. They are currently remodeling, expanding the store, and creating a more comfortable shopping experience all around. I've been to NR all over the socal and this location is definitely one of the better location for stock, size of store and overall success of finding something you need at a great price. Its overall a nice overflow stopover from south coast plaza and the only issue to me is better ease of parking up top. They do have underground parking but I like being on top, ya heard? read more

If I could give no stars I would. I recently recovered from an ankle surgery that repairs four torn ligaments and needed a new pair of supporting shoes. I purchased a pair of Nikes and tried them on there. A few days later I tried them on to go walking and the right show tore the back of my Achilles causing a lot of pain in the back of my right ankle. I took the shoes back and asked nicely if I could return or exchange them for a larger size to accommodate my swollen ankle from the surgery. It's a Sunday so it was busy and the clerk got the manager involved and she scoffed saying that since it worn she can't take it back. I asked again nicely and event showed her the back of my ankle and she just said sorry and left. She didn't ask if I had any other questions or anything. Just walked away from me. For such a large company I thought that this would have been something they could have made an exception for. It's not like I wore the shoes for 60 days and tried to return them. I wore them once and came back within a week to return them in exchange for a larger pair. It's sad, but I won't be returning to Nordstrom rack even though I like it. I was looking for a nice pair of slacks, which they had plenty, but really, a nice casual dress shirt. I've been shopping at Nordstrom Rack for awhile now, but I think everything was illuminated once my cousin told me, "The South Coast one has the best selection I have ever seen from a NR. That's why I drive all the way from 909 to shop there." Hmm, something to ponder as I review this place. Nordstrom Rack is one of those places where you have to scavenge for hidden gems. I'm a pretty patient person when it comes to shopping, and most of the time, I'm open to finding anything that looks like it'd be nice on me. If it looks good on the rack, I'll probably try it on. Not too particular about finding that ONE thing. I find myself happiest when I'm searching for tops (Free People, DVF, Marc Jacobs? Yes, please!) or denim. They've got a great selection here, and most of the time, I've been able to find something in my size; it's all just a matter of me having the funds to purchase them :-X Their shoe selection can be awesome, too, but you've gotta get there on Tuesdays when their new shipments arrive. There are very good finds in the shoe aisles if you're lucky. I bought some really cute Kate Spades, and my sister bought these really gnarly black open-toe heels for 30 bucks. Very nice! Also, I like to buy myself a few loofas they have there; really cute colors and I really like the texture of them. They last longer than other loofas I've bought before. Only like 2 bucks or so. The service isn't that great, especially compared to Nordstrom itself, but ehh, as long as I get my discounts, then I'm not too inclined about have someone following me around and saving me a changing room. I rarely go to Nordstrom Rack. It has always been a place for my mom and brothers... however I finally went to one to find myself some running shoes last week. While was shopping there, I found the perfect pair of running shoes last week that were Pumas, size 8 1/2 and the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wandered in here very quickly while on a quick trip with friends.... So much stuff.... I've never seen such a HUGE womens shoe section in ANY Nordstrom Rack ever. EVER! No sparse shelves here. The womens clothing appeared to be pretty well picked over as most Racks are, however they do carry some higher end items at this location that most don't have. Those items (Missoni, Marc Jacobs) that I did see were pretty heavily handled and looked dingy or were torn. Unfortunate. read more

This is by far the best Nordstrom Rack I've ever stepped into. Not only is everything neatly organized by size, they also organize by brand as well! I was easily able to grab designer jeans in my size in less than 5 minutes without fishing through each pair. Although there's quite a number of people here on a Saturday, the store was large enough to not feel claustrophobic. I quickly noticed that there were a ton of workers working in the store, so I think it made a big difference. There were always people pulling racks out to restock the store, and a few workers working in the dressing room so that we don't have to wait as long to try clothes on. I love Nordstrom Rack. It's the perfect place for a person who wants quality things at bargain prices. I would never shop at Macy's or Nordstrom. I find the prices ridiculous. 100 dollars for a scarf? No thank you. I'll pass. I'm more of a Goodwill, TJ Maxx, and Ross girl. I like coming out of a store with almost as much money in my pocketbook as when I first came in. My discovery of Nordstrom Rack was a pleasant surprise. Despite the "Nordstrom" name, the prices are pocketbook-friendly. It's full of your favourite designer names like Calvin Klein and Kate Spade, but the prices are slashed. I'm not saying everything in there is cheap... far from it, but the prices are definitely a lot more reasonable than you'd see in Nordstrom... and the goods you're getting are truly quality goods. This Nordstrom Rack is huge! I'll come right out and say it - my only complaint is that there is TOO MUCH to look at, and dig for, at this location - which doesn't really count as a complaint in my book. I don't really want to tell you where I go first, especially if you wear a size 9 shoe, I'll just tell you that every dept has something I want to buy every time I go in there. Name brands out the #@%, and even a designer section that makes me cry every time I see it. Love, love, love this Rack. Today, I found a gorgeous black, gray, & white striped Salvatore Ferragamo (!!!!!) dress shirt that fits like a glove. If it wasn't for that awesome discovery, I probably would have walked out with the Canali (yes, again!), Dolce & Gabbana, Thomas Mason, &/or Billy Reid shirts I encountered at the clearance racks earlier in the morning. I also found a great pair of Gant shorts that was over 85% off! All in all, my grand total was comfortably under $100... And that includes a genuine Ferragamo shirt! What else can I say? Parking - Big lot but hard to get close and you have to walk down to get to it. Store - One of the bigger racks I have seen, lots of shoes & big women's section. Lines - LONG. And if you go on the 1st day of a sale, expect MAYHEM. Haven't really scored anything fabulous from here in a while, but it is great when you can find yourself a pair of designer denim for under $100. You just have to dig and be patient! I love love love Nordstrom Rack. LOVE IT. I come here for shoes, mostly because I'm a size 11 (terrible terrible) and it's really hard for me to find shoes anywhere else. Visits to normal shoe stores usually end in sadness and frustration (curse you Steve Madden and your inconsistent size 11 stocking). The shoe selection is amazing. Racks and racks of awesome designer shoes. They also separate it so you have the pricier and more high-end designer shoes on one part and the more normal priced shoes somewhere else. I always come here when I'm in need of a specific type of shoes and almost always leave happy. In terms of clothes, I just don't know if it's entirely for me. I have to be in a real hunting mood to find something I like. For clothes I tend to prefer Loughmanns a little bit more. I really love the accessory and handbag collection here too. The selection of OPI nail polish and other little things to buy at the end always get me. But it's alright. Always worth the trip - if nothing else but for the shoes!!! read more

Not bad! I usually go to the Brea location but this one is definitely bigger with a lot more designer names. Comes with the usual chaos of a discount clothing store, but is kept reasonably organized! You need to do some digging to really pull out the gems, especially in clearance sections, but there are definitely some good pieces here and there to be found. Just grab a cart (trust me, you'll need one) and set aside a few hours to dig through those racks. And definitely go early!! I went right when it opened at 10 and it was so nice having the store be mostly empty and peaceful. It definitely got busier by noon as more and more people came in, but the early quiet hours really helps with patience and concentration in sorting through that clearance rack. Sales people were helpful! They can help look up if additional sizes of a clothing item are available in your store, and what nearby stores have the item as well. Can't speak for tracking down said items, however. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area! read more

I brought a pair of shoes Marc Anthony brand for about $70. The leather has peeled off from both shoe at the first time i wore it. I went to the store to return it back. They said that it has been over 45 days and i can't return it back although it is a manufacturer default and it was very clear. I have not seen worse policy and customer service than this store. They should be returned back to manufacturer and refund me my money. It is fake brand and very poor customer service. I won't buy from them again or recommend anyone to buy anything from Nordstorm Rack. read more

This is seriously my new most favorite place to shop. I found out about Nordstrom Rack at this location just this past year, and it has become the place I shop for most of my clothes. Although its a little overwhelming looking at all the clothes inside, but if you spent time searching I'm sure you'll find a steal. Their red tag steals are pretty awesome. A lot of clothing are at least 50% sale price, perfect for a college student's budget. This Nordstrom rack is also located in a really good place, with DSW, Loehmanns, and Marshalls all in the same plaza.
