Horrible customer services. Asked an employee if I could exchange pants for a smaller size and she confirmed I could but needed to wait in the gigantic line. Asked if they could look it up with a receipt and she confirmed yes. Got in line and was told I can't do an even exchange on $100 pants that were purchased 2 weeks ago because they were worn once. Wow. This is definitely not Nordstrom. Return policy is bs. And you'd think the person at the counter could have told me that before telling to wait in a 20 person line. read more

Big fan of this location due to the sheer selections and size of this store. It's bigger than most nordstrom racks in the area. I've found paige jeans on sale for $30, Marc Jacobs bag that were marked up to 60% off and topshop tops for under $20. Tips: -Highly recommend perusing the sale section located in middle of the store. This is where I find all my discounted red tag deals. -Some weekday hours extend to 9:30 pm instead of the usual 9pm, great for the late night shopper. -Talk to store associates and get a feel for when new shipments of clothes might come in. -Some go back racks (clothes to be put away from fitting rooms) are placed outside. These were previously selected by shoppers before but put away; maybe some of these are great finds. Be sure not to disorganize the rack for the associate. The only bad thing about this location is that the line can get outrageously long! read more

This Nordstrom Rack never disappoints on the amount of designer items it has. Everytime I an visiting Orange County I love shopping here and finding all my favorite designers there. This location can be overwhelming because of the amount of items its sells-which leads to big crowds and long lines. Be prepared on the weekends to fight the parking and long lines. This past Friday, the shoe area was a disaster but nonetheless I was able to find nice boots and my mom found cute flats. Try coming on a weekday if possible. read more

I like the Nordstrom Rack at Mall of America in MN better. But I did find a great leather purse here and a few other things. Go early and don't go on the weekend if you want a semi-pleasant shopping experience. On the weekend the racks are a tangled mess, the line goes around the store, the waiting room for a fitting room is forever, and the other shoppers are crazed, so-cal lunatic women with too much money and plastic surgery. Trust me, go early on a weekday. And don't expect the employees to be helpful, just don't. read more

Great Nordstrom Rack!!! High end goods at fantastic prices. For those that may not already know, the merchandise at this store is from Nordstrom. In order to "move product" or get rid of inventory, they sell the goods at Nordstrom Rack for 50% off or more. Ex: I got gorgeous Tory Burch Shoes for $100. ( originally $200) They carry brands like BCBG, 7 Mankind, Ted Backer, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors... They carry all kinds of goodies - shoes, dresses, jeans, designer handbags, bras... This to keep in mind - the racks get messy / disorganized on weekends and evenings. Best time to go is mornings on a week day. Don't forget to check out the Clearance!!!! read more

What a disappointment. Apparently Nordstrom rack does not know what good customer service is. Why does it take me longer to wait in line to buy an item than it is for me to find it and try it on? It's 1030 in the morning, there aren't many customers in the store, but somehow the line to check out is long. They really should think about calling for back up cashiers, so customers aren't waiting for 15 minutes or longer just to pay. In high school, my friends and I had an obsession with underwear at Nordstrom Rack because it was so cheap. Now I don't really shop there for underwear anymore but I still visit the Rack every once in a while to see if a can snag a good deal. Sometimes its a pain to search through all the overstuffed clothing racks and I hate when I find something really cute and it turns out it was placed in the wrong size category. Whenever I go here I find things that are currently being sold in many regular Nordies... there is often a line, but whatever... it is worth it when you are paying dirt cheap prices for C&C, Sevens, Paige, Citizens, Juicy, and all kinds of other brands... There are never enough cashiers working at this location! The line always seems to be miles long and stretch into the deepest depths of Africa... Prices here are a little bit cheaper than at your normal Nordstrom location but the selection is more limited and it isn't always easy to find your size. Also a lot of the clothes aren't placed in the correct areas since customers just pick stuff up and put it somewhere else, moreso than most department stores. Finally for some reason it was hard to tell who was actually an employee at the store by the way they were dressed, or maybe it was just me... Overall I would just stick with a normal Nordstrom location since I prefer to enjoy my shopping experience and not be in a hustle ans bustle environment like this with tons of people. read more

Flagship store in Orange County!! Great sales for the same quality! I love love love Nordstrom and because of it. I am broke! So if you want the same quality but at a very decent price. Go here!! The employees are very helpful, unlike the other Nordstrom Rack. It's very neat and organized here, everything is labeled but if you're a size 0-2, so hard to find stuff.. but I wear oversized stuff so I find a lot of great items for such a cheap price. Sometimes, lucky times, I find shirts/sweaters that are under $10!! Such a charm!! Love everything about this place. And men clothing's, great place for dress shirts and suits. Nordstrom Rack is better than Disneyland! Good for shopping AND peoplewatching. Prices are amazing and the store associates said I could get any service issues (like jewelry sizing) resolved at the regular Nordstrom's. I've shopped here a million times and I've never left without buying something....at least SOMETHING. This last trip, it seems like I had to circle the store three or four times to pick out something to show for my time...plus, the hubster was waiting outside with the dog & I could just hear it..."What...you made me wait outside with the dog and you didn't buy anything"??? It's not that he likes me to buy things...oh...no...just the opposite folks. It's just that my hubs sees shopping not as an adventure (like I do) but as a task oriented activity. He thinks that because I went into a store that means that I must have have something specific in mind to buy. Ha..ha..ha...that's a good one....what a dunce...he's been married to me for HOW MANY YEARS NOW and he still does not get the concept of "I'm going to stop into Nordstrom Rack to see if they have anything that looks new and exciting"? Oh no, he thinks that if I want to go into Nordstrom Rack it must mean that I am actually LOOKING for a specific item to buy like black pants or brown shoes. Anyhoo...I didn't see much here this last trip that was anything that I just had to have. Maybe I'm in my "January all shopped out post holiday funk". Maybe I've reached my saturation point on pretty much everything. I don't need any more clothes, linens, purses, costume jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, perfume or pretty much anything else. I didn't even bother to look at the shoes because it was so crowded over there. The store was packed (as usual) so maybe I was just really not into shopping in a crowded store the day I was there. Over the years I've found some awesome things at Nordstrom Rack. I've bought a Michael Kors purse here and Dior sunglasses in the past. I've gotten all of my Kendra Scott earrings here and if they had had any the day that I was here, I would have gotten some more. This store is packed to the gills with clothes, shoes, purses, baby clothes, children's clothes, men's clothes and it's always super crowded (like Christmas shopping crowded). There is also a designer section that is always well picked over. They also have a limited supply of linens. . My suggestion is to go early in the morning if you can only shop on weekends like me. Just like Ross, TJ Max or Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack is hit or miss. read more

Plenty of restaurants around South Coast and other stores you can visit...seriously this can be my playground! The only negative is parking can get pretty bad. This store for me is considered a large Nordstrom Rack store. The clothes offered at this store for women were more towards India type style clothes. Don't know how to describe it but I notice it as I didn't find that volume of clothes of that style at the other 3 Racks I visited on the same day. Since the store is at a busy mall there were a lot of people in the store and the clothes racks were messy just by the volume of shopper going through them. Almost felt like a Ross. While a bit out of the way for me (maybe 30 miles) I found my trip to this Rack beyond worth it. I walked in for True Religion Jeans and walked out with.... Two pairs of True Religion jeans. Whoda thunk it? I've been to other Racks and simply could not find my size, or a style that was to my liking. I've scoured the mess of jeans and could pick maybe 5 pairs that I wanted. Wow... Mind you, like most discount stores, it will take some hunting. Yet, it is truly worth it. The shoe section was great; albeit not my reason for visiting. Good selection of clothes and shoes. They also have a nice selection of purses, jewelry, and accessories. You can find some nice brand names at discounted prices. They also have a corner dedicated to expensive brand names at about 40%-60% off. But pls understand they are still pricey, just not at full retail price. I don't like how crowded this place gets, especially during the weekends and holiday seasons (like right now). You barely move around the shoes aisles; it's cramped and filled with shoppers. The line to pay is crazy, but they claim that the wait line is only 3 minutes long or less... They could also use some cleaning up and organizing as well. read more

This is probably my favorite Nordstrom Rack out of all the ones that I've EVER been to. I come here with my buddy all the time to shop (mainly for her) and seem to come out with something every time. Whether it's a Vince sweater, Burberry rainboots, Marc Jacob bag, etc. There's always a deal to be found. These kinds of retail stores usually cast a certain degree of overwhelmingness, but this one definitely gives me the lowest affect. When it comes to stores like Tj Maxx, Marshalls and Ross, I avoid going to them as much as I can. I know they have a lot of great deals and what not, and don't get me wrong, I'll choose TJ Maxx and Marshalls over Ross any day. However, I'm the type that prefers to pay a little extra and not have to dig & search for something cute. I'd rather have it hanging right in front of my face with all the other pretty, cute stuff. Anyways, Nordstrom Rack in general is awesome because as a student I don't necessarily have the financial ability to shop only at department stores as I please every time I need new clothing or shoes. Well, the minute I stepped into this specific Rack location I started kicking myself for not coming here sooner. I usually go to the Brea Rack location because it's close to home, but my goodness I go to school less than 15 minutes away from this location.. *sigh* regrets. I hate to write this because I don't like to write bad reviews, they suck. I will start by telling you that Nordstrom Rack has a pretty good selection. I bought a very nice Anne Klein watch there last night, but the service sucks. Every time I go in there the employees ignore me while I am at the register and talk among themselves. This makes me feel very uncomfortable buying something there. For example last night when I was buying my watch the lady that worked at the cash register started talking to her friend beside her, not paying any attention to what she was doing while she tried to get the security tag off my watch. She almost scratched my watch; she did this for about 5minutes. My boyfriend had to tell her to give him the watch so he could open the latch for her to get the security bar off. That is something she should have been trained to do, she didn't even apologize. That same night I wanted to see these bracelets which were in the glass case in the jewelry section. I wasn't the only person waiting around for some customer service in the jewelry department. Not only were we waiting for over 5 minutes for somebody to come help us, but this gentleman who was working beside us was talking to another employee. This employee didn't even bother asking us if we needed help because he was so involved in discussing his personal plans with another employee. I had to go up to him and excuse myself for bothering him so I could get some help. I am not saying that all the employees are awful some of them are actually very good and helpful that is why I go back. One employee even went out of his way to look through the whole department store for these jeans that I had really wanted. Although we couldn't find them it was really nice of him to do that. To be honest with you if I hadn"t talk to the manger who assured me he would do his best to make sure this never happened again I probably would never go back there. He really made me feel like he cared about what I had gone through last night. He even told me that he would talk to his employees without firing them, which I think is great. read more

PROS: - many more handbag designers that you don't normally see anywhere else (not just juicy everywhere). - very large shoe department. 8 1/2 spans 2 complete aisles and then some. - this seems to be the one Rack that is actually organized, the TBD will be on the TBD rack. - anytime, day or night, they have a ton of checkers to get the line moving. - the mens department is wonderfully organized, spread out, and quiet! CONS: - dirty fitting rooms and they limit you to 8 things and 3 pairs of jeans at a time - always seems to be a lot of people, day or night. - the "designer" section seems to be still overpriced, I would wait until for a sale on top of the supposed "discount" read more

Came to this Nordstroms Rack looking for a new pair of dress shoes. First time coming up buy, the experience was okay despite the store being pretty packed on Saturday. There were tons of families and stuff on the ground. The selection for shoes is pretty large, but a lot of the stock seemed damaged in some way. I was disappointed that a lot of the pairs I liked had some kind of imperfection. I'm guessing they must be old display models because the soles aren't worn at all, but the tops are creased or scratched a little. The pair I finally settled on didn't even have both laces, so I bought a pair here. The wait at the checkout was really long despite five registers being opened. I thought it was a fluke, but came back to return something next week and had to wait in the same line another fifteen minutes. It's probably just a function of people buying a lot of stuff, but still really annoying when you've already spent an hour finding good stuff and then have to wait another twenty just to pay. This Nordstrom Rack is probably one of the best stores around besides the Beverly Hills location. If you want high-end brands for cheap, come here. There are stuff most stores don't even carry. This place is huge! It gets a little crazy in here; between the number of people and the amount of things on sale, I was overwhelmed. I don't have the patience to dig through the mountain of brand name things. I have to come in here with a mission: 1) dress shirt, 2) dress shoes and 3) pay and GTFO! If I loaf around, I'll be roadkill. Never, ever, get in the way of someone looking for $125 pair of True Religion jeans. You might end up in the hospital. read more

I came here to purchase a cardigan to wear while at work. The selection was okay, but not the purpose of this review. The store was somewhat messy and I felt like the clothes were placed randomly. It was not as clean as I hoped this to be. The associate who helped us made me feel like I was a dollar sign to her. She did not greet or say hello. All she said upon arriving at the register was,"do you have a nordstrom card?" I work retail as well so I understand when it is busy that customers are waiting in line; however, there was not a line behind me and I would have liked to felt more valued as a customer. I've been going to Nordstrom Rack for years and I always loved coming to this one because there would always be little diamonds in the rough that are worth excavating for, especially in the shoe section. Unlike some other Nordstrom Racks and Off Saks 5th discount stores, this one actually sold real designer goods, whereas others would mainly stock outlet-type merchandise, misfitting True Religion Jeans and cheap Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein menswear that looked nothing like what they would sell at a real Nordstrom or Saks literally right across the street. And I don't know if it's just during the holiday season but this place is a mess. The jewelry section has earrings and necklaces all over the place, like a teenage girl's room. The bags and totes on the shelves are horrendously organized. The people in green shirts that will let you check out and pay on the spot are far and few in between. And now that Off Saks 5th just opened up, Nordstrom Rack is looking to lose a lot of customers who prefer a cleaner and more upscale discount shopping environment. I have a love hate relationship with this place. They have a great selection of great brand names. I can easily come here and find just want I want for everyone in my family. That is the LOVE part. Now the HATE. Checking out is horrendous. No matter what time I have came here, I have always had an extremely long line to wait in and pay. That ruins my shopping experience. At times I would rather just pay full price and enjoy a much better shipping experience at Nordstrom's. I was told that they now have cashiers that can accept credit card payment on the sales floor, but I have never been able to find one that can check me out. :( With that said, they know how busy they ALWAYS are. Been coming here for years and today was the worse day. We came to return an item and got a few things too. It's a weekday and they still had at least 40 minutes wait to pay. There were 5 open counters and yet they can't keep up. The line was past the designer shoes area. We were in line at 3:48 and did not make it to the counter until 4:40pm. We finally got to the front of the line realized I don't have my paper receipt but was hoping we already waited the lady at the counter will help us ( as my experienced in the past). Sadly, she gave me an attitude asking how did you pay for it, she stood their looking at me while I pulled my Nordstrom debit. I handed it to her and while scanning she can't find the items since I purchased it over a month ago. She just didn't have the patience to assist me. She did not even give me the chance to pull the receipt from my email. I knew the return policy was 90 days but she told me I can't return it since it's been there policy you can't return past 30 days. By then , I was already not pleased with the treatment and her demeanor so I took my items and walked away from the store.
