I felt unwelcomed to pay my Nordstrom card here. I was serviced by an older Caucasian woman wearing eye glasses who made unnecessary remarks when I asked to make a payment. After telling her the specific amount I wanted to pay, she insisted it was less than my minimum on my statement. I know how much I want to pay, why should I be questioned about it? I am not illiterate. If I didn't present a statement, would she still be insisting about a minimum payment amount? Then, there was an issue about my debit card not going through. I then used my other debit card. So what if I forgot my pin? She also made a comment about that. People, such as myself, can have multiple debit and/or credit cards. Why would you as a cashier question this? I am not happy about this and hope management will address this issue, it is not acceptable. Retail should provide great customer service regardless if a sale is not involved-especially Nordstrom even if it's just the Rack location. The company allows payment to be made in stores. Willing to sell you damage good with missing accessories for asked price. When messaged management they say they prefer not to sell damage or clothing with missing belts or buttons. They will offer you another belt or to have their tailor fix garments, but if original accessories are missing I don't feel it's right to charge someone the asked price for an incomplete product. I LOVE THIS STORE! I cannot say enough GOOD things about the rack! I found some of my favorite deals here! To name a few: I got a VALENTINO scarf for $68 (not sure what the original price was) I found a BURBERRY trench coat originally $895 for $300! & it wasn't even a hideous color. It was a neutral sand color. I bought LANVIN black patent pumps for $300 originally $1195- - my feet aren't even ridiculously huge/small! The rack is filled with wonderful treasures! I walked up to the line at 6:25 pm and they close at 8. I was turned away because the door guy said if they take any more people they will be there until 11pm. So you are telling me you are going to close the line 1.5 hours early in times like this because you don't want to stay late?! I usually love shopping at Nordstrom, but, this one has led to more of a bad experience than good. we found a pair of shoes marked with a $42 tag but rang up as $49. Personally, I would've rather the associate be kinder than using a "it is what it is attitude". The manager had the same attitude. My visit there last week was kind of irritating. As I checked out, I was asked if I was a Nordy member, I said "yes" and gave the cashier my phone number. Her reply was "you don't have any Nordy account". So I said, "well, I've been giving the cashiers my phone number for months and no one said that I didn't have a Nordy account." It was left at that and I went on my way. Today, I went in to shop and picked up a few things. I stood in line and waited for a bit or so. The cashier who's name is Skylynn greeted me and asked me if I had a Nordy account, told her the same line. She asked me for my email address, then my driver's license, etc, to verify or to locate my Nordy account. She apologized for the mishap but she was so nice to take the time to open another account for me. We were laughing because I told her, "all this time everyone else must have been bull&&**ing me!! As I drove home, I called the store and asked for the customer service manager. I told the manager about my experience with Skyline and asked her to thank Skyline for being so nice and considerate. I was asked to fill out a survey but I was unable to sign in. Cashiers like Skylynn represents the image of Nordstrom Rack and she should be acknowledged for her excellent customer service. read more

This was only my second time here but I really like what I see. Name brands that are well priced! Parking is good and most importantly it's free. Multi level parking structure with lots of large parking stalls. I really like that I can walk to all the nearby shops and cross the street to ward center. My favorite thing at Nordstrom rack is the selection of shoes. For sure you'll find a pair that you like. I most definitely did. Both my visits here I scored Steve Maddens for under 40$. The store has two levels. Upstairs is all the women's clothing and shoes, children's clothing and shoes and housewares. Downstairs is all the men's clothing and shoes. I really love that I can find quality stuff for reasonable prices. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to others read more

This new store is amazing!! 2 separate floors: 1st floor men's; 2nd floor women's kids and home. Everyone is very helpful, I think you can pretty much pay with anyone with a green Nordstrom rack shirt, if you're paying with card. Everything is organized a lot better. And not as cluttered. Although they do have racks of just sizes in the women's section that look a little cluttered full of random stuff. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have signs all over the store that tell you to ask staff if you have any questions or need another size. Love this rack way better than the old one. And there's a lot more parking, instead of having to drive around that little lot over and over again. read more

This new Nordstrom Rack location and expansion is a definite upgrade from it's previous spot in Ward! So spacious, lots of parking, and 2 floors filled with even more deals! I like how this store is always clean and tidy and the staff (especially this particular woman who works the fitting rooms) is friendly! Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite spots to shop in town and this is especially true since they opened their new location. They are now a two-story operation, with the men's section on the first floor and the women's section on the second level. The store is well organized too. It's not like when you walk into Ross, which I also frequent, but not as much, because I don't have the patience to look through Ross racks...they drive me insane. Nordstrom Rack has a great collection of shoes and clothes. They also have great bags, accessories, perfumes, and other cosmetics. I love perusing through the shoe section and I have seen some really great deals there. They really do carry a lot of styles that are currently in stores, but at cheaper prices. Is it always dirt cheap? Nope, but sometimes you will run into bargains. One of my favorite tank tops was purchased at the Rack for only $4...that's right...$4! My husband especially loves Nordstrom Rack. He buys all of his board shorts, tank tops and shorts there. His best dress shoes were also purchased here: a pair of beautiful, tobacco-colored Cole Haan wingtip shoes. I love those shoes. Any who, I come here whenever I have an event where I need a dress, work clothes, or casual clothes. I can find everything I need here. Even more convenient is that this store is really great about allowing your small dogs in, as long as you carry them. My pooch is pretty small, so I can fit him in a bag, or just hold him, while I stroll through the store. I always see other people with their pooches too. It's a nice stop to make when I am walking my dog. Nordstrom Rack is a great store and I love going there. I will also usually hit up TJ Maxx next door because they are so conveniently located. This is pretty much my favorite shopping complex on Oahu...good stuff. read more

Love the DISCOUNTED items! This place is located at Ward right next to T.J. Maxx and Pier 1 Imports. It's a relatively new part of the Ward experience. The parking structure here is huge! They have several floors where you can find garage parking. If it's all filled up, there are stalls outside in the open lot. The store is 2 floors with the ground floor for men and upstairs for women. It's very well lit and always busy! Even though they are busy, the staff here is very helpful and extremely friendly. I come here very often to look for random things from new gym shoes to new outfits. The store has quality products and name brands at an affordable price. It's very clean here and the racks are fairly organized. If you're on a time crunch, you might want to avoid this place. I can spend hours here looking for just the right item! It does take time to find something you like and in the right size. They have shoes, bags, clothes, sunglasses, perfumes, bikini's and many other items. Good hunting everyone! :) read more

It's both shoes in one box instead of having one shoe & you going to the desk to get the other shoe. I hated that so I never bought shoes when they had the old system. I never bought anything during my visit so I can't really comment on customer service. I did pass a few people and they said hi and smiled. The selection is a bit more than at their old location. What surprises me is that Tj Maxx has names such as gucci and Fendi whereas Nordstrom does not? read more

I was driving past the new Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago when my friend begged to stop in for a minute. A 5 minute stop turned into 2 hours of absolute ecstasy! I don't remember the layout of the original location but I love this new one! I found numerous items at amazing discounts and really good deals. I just stopped by because I had a gift card for Nordstrom. I found a dress to wear at an upcoming wedding for an amazing price and had plenty of credit left so I went downstairs because Hubby needs a new pair of slippers. I was browsing and Marianne asked if she could help. Luckily I had brought his old broken slippers with me and she quickly pointed out I was not grabbing large enough pairs! She went to so much trouble to help me find size 12, and even just called me back after looking in the back and calling other locations for me. We did get him a pair of Olukais sp? in an 11 which he will keep and once again at an amazing price! Above & beyond customer service. Love Love Love Nordstrom Rack! Great deals! It's located on the third floor connected to the ward shopping parking structure. There are two levels. The lower level consists of Men's wear. The main level is mostly Women's wear, shoes, accessories, and a small area that contains house hold goods. They carry name brand items which is discounted. You can find a lot of good stuff here for decent prices, the key is to keep your eyes open and take your time to browse. If you like shopping at Ross, you will enjoy shopping at Nordstrom Rack. ***New shipments usually come in on Tuesday and Fridays from what the employees have told me. *** The first floor consist of the men's section and the second floor of women and kids.I feel like there is more to browse through for the women and they are broken into Junior's, Women's, and those more to love women who need bigger sizes. I like that there is different styles to look at. The outer wear and lingerie wear can be a hit or miss. There is a lot of shoes to select from. I found a great pair of wedges in the clearance section and love them. I think you can also ask someone to fix or alter the clothes you decide to purchase? I have heard of this but am not sure since I have never asked for this type of assistance. I love the different types of handbags they have there as well, varies from Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Steve Madden, etc. They have some basic cosmetics and I do enjoy the Philosophy skin care products they do carry. I have always loved their ward location and when I heard that they were moving, I was a little sad. Their ward location was convenient for me... But their new location is amazing! It is two floors and you can actually park on the 2nd floor and go straight into the store so you dont have to go through the first floor. Their selection of kids clothes and shoes were great, absolutely love it. one thing i was bummed about was the shopping carts... I have a 1 year old and she loves to walk.. but I prefer to seat her so Im not chasing her all over. When I went for their pre open, I noticed that their shopping carts does not have a section to seat kids... this was a bummer! read more

Five stars for the workers in the shoe section that hunted down the last 4.5 sandal that was in the store. I felt so bad that they were looking for so long. I honestly would of been like, forget this, we're out. lol This place has a great selection and I wish the had a bigger children's section - specifically boys. It's like one rack. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE (or lack there of). I went there to buy dress shoes for my son (required by his private school) and ended up buying 4 pairs which was more than I was prepared for. My daughter found 2 pairs of shoes (last ones) but we weren't prepared to buy anything else, therefor I asked if they could hold for ONE day and they declined. I asked to speak to a manager thinking since they used to hold items, there'd be no logical reason not to, but the male manager said they won't hold anything. I explained that they used to hold items in fact they've held items for me before but then the manager belittled me then claimed I must have got confused with Nordstrom. I know the difference between Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack! I was incredibly frustrated because my daughter walked out extremely disappointed because she didn't get shoes and her brother did. It might be easy to ask why didn't I just buy them then, well because I only brought cash which was enough for my son's school uniform, therefore his shoes were priority as opposed to the other shoes being cute ones that would have replaced her current ones. Normally Nordstrom Rack would be a 4+ star but I left the store pretty disappointed today. I had an armful of clothes to try on while holding a shoebox and the girl by the dressing room didn't even offer to help me. i am just in love with nordstrom rack! whenever i am in need to spruce up my wardrobe, nordstrom rack would be the first place i will hit up. i mean who's going to complain with buying brand named clothes for half the price?! This location is ok, but it's lacking a lot in the Men's department. The Waikiki location has a much larger selection that better serves my needs. If you're a man looking for sport coats, blazers, chinos etc, it's definitely better to drive a few more miles and go down to Waikiki for the Nordstrom Rack there. read more

When I am in need of something a little dresser then I can find at my usual places I always head to Nordstrom rack. They have a multitude of men's and women's fashion pieces at reasonable prices. Yes it is more then you would pay at Ross or TJmaxx, however in my opinion they are more well known and quality products. It does help to know your brands as that way you can see how much of a good deal you are getting . Now it's not as fantastic at all times, you do have those days where nothing seems to tickle your fancy. But it's always worth a shot! read more

Then is rushing me to slide my debit for my 300$ which is less than my watch Dior and Maui Jim sunglasses that I have on. and my disabled mom starts walking to the door and is attacked by Marion grabbing the bag that had like $30 leaving me with the rest of the stuff! Marion all freaking out on her walkie and following me!! When I talked to her manager she said she dont kniw why Marion did what she did.Mom was so embarrased that Marion almost knocked her over. I received terrible service here from Christina. I stood in line for 10 min despite their being no line. The woman in front of me was doing a return which breached the 90 day policy for return. Christina accommodated her DESPITE their return policy. After the woman left I went up to the counter and Christina wouldn't ring me up because she chose to prioritize tagging the garments for the return and another worker told me it is their POLICY. Christina looked annoyed that she had to do the return and sounded exasperated when addressing me. So, She basically chose to break the store POLICY for one customer and made the customer who was waiting patiently wait longer. I can understand making an exception, but you can't pick and chose who you want to break the rules for especially when they are in a consecutive order. read more
