Negative stars. Lackluster greeting. Found an associate to help me finally. She was great. Then the nightmare began. I noticed my Alexander McQueen ring from Nordstrom was missing. The manager fr on duty was rude and dismissive when I asked for assistance. She refused to run the tapes and very snarkily said I could call the cops. So I did. Cops were worthless and didnt show or give me a case #. I made a comment about the lowlife clientele here and Karen aka Stella, another crap employee told me not to say that and she was offended. Um you are a cashier at Ross, one of your crap customers or shady co workers just stole my designer jewelry and now you're the tone police? I dont think so. She also told me unsolicited that I could wait at the back of the line to make my $1200 purchase. I told her not happening and she needed to stop harassing me. Ive never been treated like this. She and the phony manager need to be terminated immediately. They are racists plain and simple. I will need to be reimbursed for my stolen ring that has a value far greater than anything in that store immediately. My next call is to an attorney if I dont hear something today. I bought shoes at this place at 2:07 and when I went out, I realized the color was not what I expected in the light and went inside to return it. By the time I got to the register, it was 2:15 and I checked in with the woman to return the shoes. She glanced at the shoes and said these are used. I commented that I just got these few minutes ago, there's no way that I can do anything with these in that time span. She kept repeating that these are used and checked in with the manager and said those are used. I commented that these were the conditions that I got the shoes in and to check the receipt cause the time stated my evidence of when I got them. These people literally didn't care what the receipt said and stated that the shoes were used. What's frustrating for me is that I literally got these shoes, bought them, and wanted to return them in a span of 8 minutes and 5 of those minutes were spent being back in line. I guess it's possible for me to freaking waddle like a penguin and slide the shoes, but enough so my right heel isn't messing up the size 9 tag ink and enough where I miraculously don't crinkle the shoes and dong break the lock keeping the shoes together. What's ridiculous is that I kept trying to repeat myself that I just got these and they suggested to me to wash them and return them later or go to another store. That just told me there's extremely something wrong with this location if I can possibly return these at another location apparently. Guess I'll make best use of my money by wearing these out by walking like a penguin for a while. Return at your own risk. read more

I like Ross in general ... this one is very short on staffing and needs more people on the floor and at the registers! Lines are slow... credit card processing is slow/ broken ... Seems like prices are a bit high for items ... Clearance could be marked at better prices to get it out the door! Clothes selection - I've seen better at other locations - this location gets the worst .... Housewares seems to be good ... Makeup and lotions seem messy and junky... should be sold cheeper to get the stuff out of the store read more

What's the point in having two lines (one for return and one for purchases) when they just ignore the return line. I was in line with one item to return and obviously in line before the purchases people appeared but the cashier decided to take a woman with a cart full instead of me and then when she was done I thought she would call me up but no it was another purchase that happens to be a return standing in the wrong line and she took the return and she still didn't call me up when she was done. The loss prevention even told her I was there first but they still called for purchases. The two lines don't work. Come up with a better plan to serve your customers Ross or do better with training and no it wasn't a staffing issue because there was 4 cashiers at their stands when I was there. I don't usually shop at Ross and this experience reminded me of why. Customer Service sucks here. read more

This review is less about the store, and more about the employees. While shopping, I was carrying my phone in my back pocket. After about 15 minutes, I left (without buying anything) and went to my car. Once I sat down I realized my phone wasn't in my back pocket. I looked everywhere, then trekked back to the store. When I couldn't find it along my route, I went to the cashier and asked if anyone had turned it in. Both the manager and store security helped me search, called my phone, and offered so much assistance. I felt as if they cared as much about my loss as if it had been their own. P.S. The phone had fallen on the ground next to the car and had slid under it! read more

I'm a bargain shopper so I have been shopping at Ross my whole life. This location is closest to my house so I end up here a lot. I usually combine the stop with a meal at one of the restaurants nearby. I love that it has plenty of parking and is usually less crowded than the Everett Ross where I shop often, but lines to check out can still be unbearable. I do find this store to be a bit cleaner than some of the others. The loss prevention people when you enter can be a little bit off putting, as are the signs telling you they check all 100 dollar bills posted at every register. Like most Ross stores the inside can be chaotic, there is so much to look through if you want to find the good deals. I like to come here for shoes, sunglasses, bras, and mattress pads. I always make sure to go through the clearance aisles as well. This is a good store for browsing and I love that I can find great deals for my boyfriend too. Its also nice that they have such a large household section. I also appreciate the large dressing rooms. It's rare that I leave empty handed. read more

Stood in line for 20 minutes behind 2 customers with one item each, the only cashier working was slow and incompetent, the manager and another cashier stood up front ignoring the 6 people in line then 5 more came in for returns. After 20 minutes I was told they needed to take the returns first when it was my turn. Needless to say I walked out. Whatever happened to customer service,? Ross stores....you love them or you hate them. I love them. I know they aren't the cleanest, mostly due to shoppers knocking things off hangers and just leaving it, but I like being able to grab some items for my kids and not breaking my bank. I have 3 girls that burn thru clothes like crazy, so getting a cute little summer dress for $7.99 is 100% better than going across the steet to the mall and paying $29.99 for something similar. This Ross has a pretty good variety, friendly employees, easy parking. I like to buy canvas art at Ross and this one had a decent variety. Also I got my girls some sketch books that were really inexpensive.... $5.99 for 174 pages with a hardcover. That is $12-19.99 at the other stores I've looked at. So if you don't want to spend too much, check them out- - everything from baby items, home items, luggage, pet items, formal to casual wear. It's Ross!! How could you not love it!! Buuuuut... Their clothes I buy don't last longer than a few months, get holes or just look like crap. I haven't bought jeans because it's all mom jeans and I wore that shit 20 years ago. Gross. Their stupid cart poles are irritating AF!! Especially when I have big purchases like furniture. Lines are long AF no matter what time a day and they never have enough checkers. When there is plenty of cash drawers for them to have more. I assume it's because prices are too cheap to hirer more. I've waited over 20 mins in line. But actually shopping there doesn't annoy the fuck outta me like most places. So I learned a trick if I'm shopping often. Buy something and return it next time you plan on shopping. The return/exchange line is separate and you get served sooner. Not sure why that is there but I'll use it. Remember, when you pay less, there is usually a reason... but doesn't mean I still don't shop there. I make my kids go there first before they spend $100 on a pair of jeans or even luggage. I'd been having a really hard time chasing down a certain pair of Ralph Lauren socks, but I made a few calls, and this Ross had them! I was in and out so quickly I didn't really get a chance to soak in the store or the people shopping there. Opens late hours which is a plus but lines are always long. It takes 20-30 mins to get checked out. Ridiculous.

We got here just before closing, so looking around was a bit rushed, but I found a kick ass low cut green sweater for myself for $5. It's a typical Ross, you've seen on you've seen 'em all, and even if it was kinds "ew", you know you'll probably go back someday. The highlight of our quick trip was definitely on the way out. The girl at the check out counter had eyebrows made of liquid eyeliner and enough eye shadow on to keep the Aurora ave ladies in business for a month. read more

I go here from time to time looking for various household items. The prices are good. The selection varies from visit to visit. Check out line is bad. They have slow checkers and many times there are employees standing around while there is a big checkout line. The checker today was on some sort of power trip. Look, I get it. You might be having a crappy day. If being rude to me makes you feel better than more power to you. Sometimes the checkers are very nice though. All in all it's ok. Messy. Disorganized. Picked-over. Those are the three words that describe this Ross. On a few occasions I have found an item or two to purchase, but it takes a lot of digging and a lot of patience. The check-out line is a disaster. There is no queue, so you have no clue where to stand. If you decide to stand in the long line waiting to check-out, you may get passed by another customer who just gets into line at one of the counters. Beyond annoying. I've been here during busy days and slow days. The checkout lines are slow no matter when you go. This is the reason I've started to avoid this store (and Ross stores in general) unless I don't have anything better to do with my time. The home department has great deals- bathroom towels galore! I like the cooking utensils section always finding something that I think will make cooking easier. If I had something in hand and the checkout line is long, I've been known to convince myself that I didn't need that item to begin with. read more

I am a Ross shopper. Usually love it and can find some decent item's have noticed the quality of what they do get in declining rapidly though. The visit last night takes the cake for being the worst time I have ever had at a Ross store. Mess. The store looks like it exploded. I get that people are rude and throw things on the floor etc but it wasn't busy and there were a ton of employees just standing around. Start cleaning the damn store. It was almost impossible to push a cart down the shoe isle because most of the shoes were on the floor and not on the shelves. Couldn't even begin to take a cart behind where the comforters etc were. Not even sure you could walk back there. Stock carts set out in front of the toy area with nothing on them. I shouldn't have to move your stuff in order to look at things. They are really clean and neat in this location. I've been in here a few times and it's never that crowded. The merchandise changes almost each day so if you see something you'd like one day, you may want to get it and not risk waiting. The only issue I see here is that there isn't a queuing situation here. You can't always tell where the line should be when there's no roped area. You may be waiting in one line and another customer goes past you into another line. THat is frustrating. There's a lot of parking space and it is in a center that has a few other stores to shop and restaurants to eat in. read more

The gentleman finished the transaction, looked my way, locked off and walked away. Three items would have taken him what, 5 minutes tops? Let me get the weird thing out of the way up front - Ross might be the best place I've found to get Ghirardelli 86% cocoa chocolate. Really an unexpected find as we were checking out of the store... I needed a tie. I bought a shirt I liked, thinking I had a tie that went with it. Unfortunately, I didn't. None of my ties matched. So I dragged my wife over here to Ross to find me a cheap tie that looked good. The tie selection wasn't all that great, but they did have a good mix of ties, and we were able to find a nice silk gray tie that went with my shirt. I mean, I'm not a clothes person, so I can't evaluate everything about this store. But they had some ties, and I got one. Win. read more

Their clothes were mostly organized, the dressing rooms were mostly clean, and of course.. everything was cheap. The only reason this store gets a 2 is because the store was clean and the security guard was prompt in greeting customers when they arrived in the store. Other than that the employees were extremely rude and unpleasant. One of the cashiers told the woman in front of me that she couldn't help her and she needed to wait because she was already behind and helping her would put her more behind. When it was my turn the cashier told me to get in another line for returns and pointed generically in the direction of some ropes. I had to ask where because she was just pointing in no specific direction. I don't expect people to bend over backwards for me but you work in customer service for goodness sakes. read more

Clothing piled up on counter for check out. Only 1 checker with long line. When another finally came, she was inexperienced. I said you need a manager in store. She said she was the manager! I will never go to the Ross in Lynnwood again. My husband and I went there last night to buy the ottoman I've been wanting for 6 months. We told the woman at the cash register (I don't remember her name but she was of Asian descent and had poorly drawn on eyebrows) we wanted it so she came over to look at the price tag. First off, she made us move this huge, chunky piece of furniture to the front by ourselves, she didn't even offer to have someone help us. Then as we were lifting it up, another customer pointed out that there was a hole in the leather. I told the lady I won't take it for the full price so she offered me 10% off which would drop the price down to about $108. I said "I'm not spending over $100 on furniture with ripped leather" so she offered 15% off. I said I'd take 30% off and she yelled "No! Only 15%. I won't go lower" Then she yelled across the store to another cashier to say "THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND, CANCEL!" So I yelled back "IT HAS A HOLE IN IT." Did I mention they had the damaged side of the furniture pushed up against the wall so you couldn't see it? Do they really think someone is going to spend $100 on ripped leather furniture that has already been sitting in their store for over 6 months? They're hoping someone won't notice the rip and they'll get 120 dollars for it. RIP OFF! I will never go back there just to avoid that woman. read more

I won't be going to Ross anymore. They are so scared of people stealing that they treat all customers like criminals. Nobody wants to feel like that when they're in a great mood out spending their money. The ridiculous rules for the dressing rooms, the general attitudes of employees and security.... even just simple requests are always met with a negative answer and "that's the policy" speech. This Ross is a lot like the others.. only cleaner and a bit more organized. I have found this attribute to be true only to newly opened Ross department stores (with exception to the Ross located near Astoria, Oregon). Aisles are laid out well and there are usually several check stands open, making the wait-in-line tolerable. The parking lot has ample parking and is conveniently located near other department stores, the mall and several restaurants. read more

A lot of stuff looked pilfered / tampered with, but if you sift through all the sad looking stuff, you might find something interesting. I enjoy going to Ross when its necessary to We are going on a trip and needed some new luggage. Checked out target and prices were decent, much cheaper than any luggage store or dept store of course. But I made sure to check out Ross before I got it, and of course they had very similar luggage styles and quality for half the price! yeah I think I will take it, also got some sandals, socks and a belt for about half 25% less than target too. Since target has pretty good prices in the first place, Ross is therefore super awesome in their deals. The only reason I wouldnt give it 5 stars is inventory is never consistent and I understand its not suppose to be in a store like this but anywho....The place is always pretty messy and the lines are very long with not enough cashiers. But overall good place to save some dough on your goods. read more

Hmmm, Ross will surprise you from time to time. Clothes, shoes, and bags are very cheaply made, but sometimes Ross will have decent deals on brand-name housewares. The other day I scored Laura Ashley curtain panels for a steal. Cookware and other kitchen items are worth digging through here. Only thing that still skeeves me out is the requisite security guard that hangs around. Seriously, why at Ross and not at Marshalls and TJ Maxx? They are all owned by the same corporation, so obviously this store holds merchandise priced at just the right level to attact people with sticky fingers. read more
