I work a lot, so I truly cherished the time I took to have a wonderful evening taking my daughter shopping. I was especially looking forward to taking her to Victoria's Secret to get fitted and pick out a few items. We were informed the store closed at 8:00 PM; by that time, we were already out of the fitting rooms and at the register. The woman behind the counter was incredibly cold and appeared to be in a terrible mood. While we waited, a salesperson checked the back for two items that weren't on the floor. When she returned empty-handed, the manager, Veronica, suggested ordering other items online. We asked if we could quickly grab one item from the front that we knew my daughter liked, but Veronica flatly said, 'No, you're going to have to come back.' I asked if she was serious, as I was spending $150 and found it ridiculous that we couldn't grab one final item. She eventually told us to 'go ahead,' but with a lot of attitude. I was deeply offended to be treated so poorly, especially at the end of a nice outing with my daughter. We were never rude to her, and there was no reason for her to be so unkind. read more

I would improve the presentation of your beauty items. Beauty items looked dusty and unorganized. The testers looked used with spilled product on the shelf. I went to the registers at the front to do a payment and buy a gift card and was communicated that they only had the "Desk" open for purchasing items. She didn't have gift cards at the middle random desk, so I left empty handed. I'll stick to the Encinitas store. Much more cleaner and organized read more

Such a great location! They are always in stock and have great items for sale. When I walked in I was greeted and helped by HOPE. HOPE was very patient and answered all my questions. Used to love coming here and shopping, customer service was always great and the quality of their bras and underwear were great. The last few times I have been to the Carlsbad location horrible customer service, the bra I purchased fell apart after 2x of wearing it, and when I went back to the store was told there was nothing they could do, after spending over $200 just the week before when I went and made my purchase. Not to mention after 15 minutes of walking around and shopping no one ever came to ask if I needed help and when I mentioned this at check out the girl did not seem to care. This used to be my fave store until I bought my place several years ago. With that being said, the VS shopping had to be restricted to a minimum over priorities. Been an VIP Angels member for years, and have been reaping the benes with special discounts, rewards and freebies. During this encounter I came in searching for a racer-back bra. The staff were friendly in helping me decide between the 5 styles they offered. I guess what irked me a bit was that I was handed off/interacted with 4 different associates while shopping in the store for 1 hour. No biggie, but I like 1:1 interaction and not having to switch associates after establishing a relationship with one. With too many interactions, I get confused with names and then I hear my situation repetitively. Anyways, I opted for the new PINK lace racer-back bra in black ($40). Since it was new, one of the associates indicated that they didn't have any black, but they would be able to order it and have it shipped to my residence for free. COOL! I've been a fan of Victoria Secret since my college days of wearing VS Pink, but as I got older, I loved the Very Sexy and Angels collection a lot more. It's very feminine, tasteful and a bit more mature than the PINK collection, which just reminds me of high school girls. That being said, I'm glad that they expanded and modernized this store to be a bit more shopper friendly. There was a bra and panties set that I really liked, however, the bra wasn't available in the store in my size, so they said they can order it for me and have it shipped to my house. I did just that and they took my information down at the front desk. Two days later, my package arrived, in my size and I was thrilled that I still got the discount despite having it ordered and shipped to me (for no extra charge). Personally, I thought that was great customer service and I will continue to be a loyal customer as long as they keep up that top notch service. read more

Shopping here for years but was treated so poorly my first time going in postpartum. Normally I know what I want and do just fine on my own but this time I made the mistake of allowing myself to be sized because I thought things had changed with since the baby. The girl sized me as a B (I've been a 34DDD for over a decade..) so I politely thanked her and tried to browse and continue to pick a couple to try on to find the best fit and when the employee saw that I had chosen a different size she was seething and rude. Eventually she sent a manger to deal with me and was so mean I was almost in tears when I asked the manager if I had done something wrong?? She checked the fit and decided I was still best wearing a 34DDD and just had me try a different style than I was used to. I felt like a criminal and almost left crying that day. I was told by a worker that I could come in and return my item and then apply the coupon I had from a previous transaction when the coupon started. I went in and the manager I assume was so rude yelling over her customers telling me I couldn't do that. Okay so if I can't do that that's fine but tell your workers not to say false things, also don't yell and be rude like what? Definitely not a good experience after my like second time coming there. This store is still busy, even though the mall it is in, is a ghost town. Lots of deals to be had especially after the holidays. Right now, they had a coupon if you try on a T Shirt Bra, you get a coupon for $15 off any bra under $40 in the store. Also, was buy one sports bra regular price, get a free pair of work out pants. BAM! That was a deal. I had some stuff to exchange, and here is what I got. VSX Knock Out Sports Bra VSX Work Out Pants PINK Ultimate Yoga Pants 2 T Shirt Bras 2 PINK undies Vanilla Body Spray 4 Lip Gloss And I only spent $117. I did download the App which got one of the undies for free. If you pay attention to what you are buying and what deals they have, you can save a ton of money. The staff are really nice and helpful, also it's the first store you see on your left by the mall entrance. When I want to go to VS, I usually come here because it's close to where I park and the crowd is smaller compared to other locations. I generally don't like VS's products including their bras and especially their perfumes and body care stuff. Their scents are too strong and a bit too artificial for me and they give me a slight headache, so I don't come here for any body care products. However, I do like their cotton panties, comfortable and affordable. Buy 7 for $28 and automatic $10 off a bra, but I don't care for that so I just got what I wanted and left. The store itself with the service and tidiness is 4 stars. Products are being put away nicely and folded but it's hard to find what you want because there are too many sections. Service was amazing and staff were very helpful. However, I'm not a big fan of VS products in general, so that's my take for the rating. read more

i am used to the VS at The Forum/UTC/Fasion valley. I happened to be in the mall here for a dinner event so I wanted to come and grab some things at VS. Now let me say that while my review is negative...it wasn't a horrible experience with rude employees...it just wasn't up to par with what I am used to at a VS store. my usual experience is that VS emulates high end stores that make you feel like you have a personal shopper while you are in store. I am used to being greeted upon entry and have access to assistance the entire time I am in the store. Today I came in knowing exactly what I wanted ...in fact I pulled up the items from my online shopping cart. i was grabbing a certain pair of yoga pants and 2 sports bras. Finding those items is another story...i had no clue where to look. I looked for a sales associate. ...hmmm...couldn't find anyone. The store was not busy...I didn't even see someone else being helped. I wandered around trying to find my items and/or associate. I finally saw a lady organizing merchandise. I approached her and requested assistance (i have never had to do this at a VS store). She walked me to where the yoga pants would be and said "it should be here..but it's a mess" so i asked her to help me. Her response was that she usually works on the other side and would get someone to help me. um ok... the other girl came and I told her what I wanted...she looked a little...then just said. "oh we don't have them" no offer for a solution..nothing. I asked if she could order it for me and have it shipped to me (which is what is usually offered to me)...she directed me to a 3rd person...by now I was over this. I have never had to beg for assistance...VS employees are usually super helpful and extremely well trained. hmmm... this location needs some help. I'd give this Victoria's Secret store a 4 1/2 stay for the manager Stephanie who has always helped me in the past. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I'm writing this review today because this is not the first time I've had to use the restroom. If any of you had to use the restroom in the past, you would totally agree with me that it's bad !! Today absolutely took the cake! Once again there's no toilet paper or hand towels in the restroom. It reeked of raw feces not to mention there was dried urine on the floor. I used to work at VS back in the day and this store is the worst ive ever seen! I am a new mom and pregnant again. I walked into the store looking for new bras with my 9 month old in her stroller. When I worked at VS we were supposed to have a sales rep in each section of the store to help customers. I had what I wanted to try on but needed a fitting room. First section...no one. Second section...no one. Walk into the third section...4 sales people avoiding eye contact with me. Finally I stand in the middle and loudly ask, does anyone work here??? One girl finally looked at me to help. I said "I'd like a fitting room please" she walks me to the back. The girl working the fitting room was helping someone so I wait. Then, without making eye contact with me, she walks past me with the customer and says nothing to me. She finally comes back and walks by me with no eye contact again. I ask "hello, can you help me get a fitting room??" She says "uh, yea, but the family fitting room is taken." I was fed up, it shouldn't have been that hard for me to get to that point. I handed her all the items I had picked up and walked out. Never again in my life will I step foot in that store. Whoever the manager there is needs to figure out how to run that store properly. read more

I went into the store August 17th and my mom and I ended up spending $309.24 and were informed of the deal that whatever you spend as an angel card holder you would receive back in a reward. Not only by the associate who rang us up( cashier #3248431) but by the manager on the floor Gaby. We were also told that for every bra you would receive a free pantry and a rollerball. Well, when we got up to the counter that same associate told us that she misinformed us and that it's only one panty and that the rollerball is a different promotion. We didn't make a big fuss because we really came in there for the reward. A month later and I still hadn't received my reward and I called customer relations twice and they kept telling me it was on my way. On Thursday September 26th I spoke to Eric over the phone who told me that it was only up to $200 reward and that I wouldn't see the rest of that $109.24 and that I should've paid attention to the signs and the email. I never received an email regarding the sale because I don't shop at Victoria's Secret anymore I use my credit card for bath and body works. I used to work for this company at the exact location and after quitting I no longer shop here. I prefer to shop at Aerie seeing as they're cheaper and much better quality. However, my mom still shops here because she for whatever reason still likes there bras. So because of this I haven't received any marketing emails or text messages for a while. We only went into the store because of the multiple associates and management telling us about the promo. Again nowhere was it mentioned that it was only up to $200 Moving forward, I paid off my credit card and will only use it for bath and body works again. I just think it's ridiculous that both the associate (#3248431) and Gaby both told us misinformation and made me forfeit over $100. I filed a claim within customer relations and I hope in the future the staff here are better prepared for sales going on within the store and have proper communication. read more

All Victoria Secrets are not the same. This review is for the Carlsbad location. But just to tell my story I gotta back up a little. First I went to the Victoria Secret at the Forum. I figured I would drive out of my way from Oceanside to go there because it was a nice location and maybe I would get good help. Wrong. I was fitted incorrectly by Megan. She sold me three bras that didn't fit, and after much frustration I went to exchange them at the Carlsbad location. I went to the Carlsbad location the next evening after wearing one of the bras that day. I knew it was a bad fit. Boobs kept popping outta my bra, my back was hurting, and I was just fed up. Heidi at the Carlsbad mall is an Angel. I walked in at 8pm with my two kids. Heidi greeted me right away with enthusiasm, and immediately put me in the fitting room. She fitted me for a bra, and the first one she gave me to try on fit like a glove. She brought me several other bras to try on as well. I have been wearing the three bras that I exchanged for the last week. I have never felt so comfortable, sexy, and secure in a bra. I am a 32DDD so support is important. I just cant express enough thanx to Heidi for finally getting me into the right size bra. I am ashamed to say I have not been wearing the right size bra most of my adult life. If you need a bra fitting please make an appointment with Heidi, trust me your boobs will thank you for it. I had to come back today 12/17 to add to this review. I went in to exchange some defective bras. Jackie helped me and made the exchange process so easy. I thought I was gonna be given a hard time but she was so helpful and really made be feel valued as a customer. I love this location they are awesome! read more

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced! I went in tonight to purchase a gift. Started in the Pink side but ended up on the VS side. On the VS side the athletic wear was 40% off. With that said, I chose a pair of pants, matching jacket, and sports bra. When it gets rung up, all of it was 40% off but the bra. I said that there is a sign right on the sports bras that say 40% off. They continued to tell that they couldn't help me as it's not ringing up that way. I asked for a manager. When she (Jazmin) came over, I told her what my challenge was, and all she could say is that she is just doing what she was told. I proceeded to tell her that is false advertising. She basically ignored me. I asked for the customer service number, store number, and her name. She walked away and another manager walks up, Melissa. She looked on the back of the receipt, tore a piece off, and proceeded to tell me that is the only number she knows. I know that is BS! I asked her for the store number and the others managers name. Melissa responded with, "I don't have to tell you her name or the store number." I was furious by this time. Jazmin, the other manager comes up and gives me customer service number, the store number, and her name. I proceed to leave the store, but made a detour to talk a pic of the false advertising. Jazmin walked past me so I brought it to her attention. She said she couldn't doing anything add she is just doing what she is told to do. In the meantime, Melissa walked past me and as I tried to stop her to show her, she ignored me and walked right past me. In top of that, the Pink side looked like a hurricane hit it and the VS side had bare walls and shelves and there was nothing out for display larger than a size small. What are all of your employees doing? Needless to say, I will continue to drive the The Forum to shop VS as the new Carlsbad location is less than desirable in all directions. read more
