Great deals especially today with the additional 25% off of clearance. Store was decently clean, not the stores fault though. I saw many workers on the floor working hard to keep it clean and help customers. Workers were very friendly and helpful. I did feel bad for one lady at the register that was being yelled at by a couple of ladies while I was next to them getting checked out. She tried to help them as much as she could and called for a manager but it seemed like their ears weren't working or they just wanted to yell at people for no reason. read more

Santa Rosa happens to be the saddest place for a lady to shop. Coddingtown and the downtown are the worst shopping centers I've been to in my life. But I was optimistic when this store opened. Unfortunately, this store seems to be where all the clothing rejects end up. I have found a few gems in the store but I'd rather pass by this store and head down to Novato where Nordstroms Rack cares about their customer base. At least we have an abundance of wine to keep us happy. read more

First let me start by saying I go to the rack quite frequently and a few weeks ago I went in with my mom and we definitely treated ourselves and splurged on a few items. We left the rack with great service (per usual) and went on over to target with our new clothes in the back seat of my car. We came back outside of target and my car window was smashed and all the items we just purchased were stolen. I called the rack to inform them just in case somebody tried to return the stolen items, not expecting them to give us our money back or anything like that because once it leaves their store They aren't responsible for it. a week or two went by and gabbie, the manager, followed up by giving me a call just to check in to see if anything was resolved and kept apologizing even though it totally wasn't necessary but absolutely appreciated. Even went as far as searching the store for the exact items that were stolen for us to replace them with. She was an absolute sweet heart and really cared to make sure we were taken care of. Absolutely made my day, and I am beyond greatful. Will be continuing to shop there read more

The store is a mess. You will have to dig through pile or racks to find something in your size. And don't let the sizes on the racks or hangers fool you. I found almost everything miss marked and larges in the small section and so on. Top it off with their sale prizes being crazy high after 30 minutes of trying to find a shirt I went across the way to another store. read more

I have to admit it. Shopping is retail therapy and a hobby for me. However, I shop for bargains. Always the sale or clearance racks, whichever the store I am in. I waited years for some sort of Nordstroms to open in Santa Rosa. This rack has a little less inventory than one of my other favorite rack locations (Roseville CA) but it is a huge improvement for our shopping variety here in Santa Rosa. If you have time and know how to find a good bargain, then you will like the Rack. I have always found the sales staff and cashiers to be nothing but friendly and helpful on each of my many visits. For those that complain about the quality of the offerings there, I am not sure what they are referring to. This is all Nordstrom's merchandise that they carry in all their big flagship stores. Finally made it in! This store went up a few months ago, and I've been intending to hit it, but where did the time go??? Well- Valentines Day seemed to be the perfect shopping day. :) LOVE The Rack! How can you not? This store has it all. On first entry, the shopping carts are to the left. I should have known better... I didn't grab one, and it turned out to be a trip like Costco- where I ended up having to go fetch a cart rafter my arms were so overloaded, items were literally falling to the floor. Tons of sunglasses at half the price, to 1/3 the price... from Tom Fords to Guess, to Raybans. All within the current styles. Makeup section was awesome. They had Benefit product, things I generally buy at Macy's or Sophories (sp), and lots of sample stuff. Of course their shoe rack was to die for... but I refrained. My 40+ collection is enough right now, and after all... I wasn't there for "me". Ahem. :) Huge clearance section, good section on petite, women's and men's... and even household items. Will def return when I have more time, but so glad to have finally made it in. Was a little disappointed on their intimate wear... they do need a better selection there, but beyond that... generally satisfied. read more

I'm a frequent shopper of Nordstrom rack online and at their San Leandro location ...I was so happy when this store opened as I had requested one here as well lol! But I'm less than pleased with this store I found the 2-3 cashiers I went to for a return I had were neither helpful or friendly it was disappointing..it took me 20 mins of trying to explain my credit couldn't go on my method of payment as the credit card was compromised she didn't get it finally after I was extremely aggravated also spoke with customer service by phone none would simply pass the situation to a supervisor it was ridiculous finally the assistant manager came to help in my not so unusual situation and thank god for John he was s true professional and understood my situation problem solved..although John was very helpful and accommodating I will probably never shop at this particular Nordstrom rack because of the unfriendly unprofessional help.. read more

I was thinking to give just one star at the beginning, but there are many nice people, they deserve more then that. I was in the store today. The whole experience was good until I reached the cashier. I was the only one waiting in line and there were two checkouts open. First, they did not pay attention to the customers. While I was waiting, they were charting. It is fine to chart, since the store is not that busy. Then the girl noticed me, but she did not help me. Instead, she talked to the guy stand next to her. The guy helped me, his name is Nicholas. I got this name from the receipt, since they didn't have name tags. Second, the girl is really rude. when I reached checkout, the girl said:"I did you a favor earlier remember? I helped the lady you didn't want to help." to the cashier who helped me. This is implied that she didn't not want to help me and she said that just in front of me. Maybe she thought I am an Asian, so I wouldn't understand?! This is the first time I visited this store, and the first time I met her. I am not sure why she had such a judgment on me. This is really impolite and unprofessional. Doesn't even have basic respect to the customers! The store is clean compares to the stores I visit before. And many employees are really nice here. The lady worked in the jewelry area. The lady worked in the fitting room. And the gentleman who worked in men's shoes area. Even a lady talked to me before I entered the restroom. They are all so nice. I never met so many rude people there associates are rude and unhelpfull you think from all the money i spent in there they would be nicer but there not i think i will drive extra mile to the concord store then get treated unfairly for all the money i spend in there and my points account havent never been set up because the associates and the mangers are terrible and doesnt help you out they dont care about there customors at all Well tryed it again to go to this location but got harrased by a employee. This store is a complete waste of time & is always a hot mess... I refuse to ever go back. I purchased a pair of $55 booties & when I got home, I realized there was a manufacturer defect. I came back a week later to return them and because I couldn't find my receipt, they only gave me a $28 store credit. When questioned, the employee told me a she couldn't look up my transaction without a receipt (price tags still on the shoes) but then at the end of the return, she asked for the card number I used for purchase, which I provided her with in order to gain access to the purchase information... ummm what! She lost all credibility right then & there due her incompetence, transparent lies & poor customer service... I left feeling completely conned by them. Never again. I've worked retail in the past & have managed a few stores enough to know that this is NOT how you treat loyal customers. They have great deals on name brand shoes, clothes, and sunglasses. I love their customer service. The people who work here, really care about the customers who come in here to shop. My favorite section is the shoe section. I can find a lot of shoes in my size, that are comfortable at affordable prices. read more

First time here and I'm shocked at the customers. It was like Walmart shopping. I have shopped at a lot of Nordstrom and Rack stores from Seattle to San Francisco. This was the worst experience. Shopping etiquette was none existing. Literally got space invaded while looking at sunglasses, another lady reached across me and turned the jewelry stand I was looking (and turning). It was ghetto shopping at the Rack today. Tis the season for rudeness? Not to mention the plumber crack I saw of a female worker through the glass window. Oh well... The customer service I received from Maria Chavez and Meagan P. The other day was outlandish. I have never had a cashier anywhere be outright disrespectful to me. Maria went above and beyond to continue to disrespect me as a customer. I asked her why was she being so extra and could she Stop talking at me... not to me but AT me several times and do my transactions. She kept running her mouth about doing her job...,,etc... when Meagan the store manager came up Maria told her I was rude and kept running her mouth. Meagan who looked worn down, did Nothing! Maria kept dealing with customers and her attitude towards me was not one that she gave to others. I don't know if it was my diamonds shining or the fact that I was out shopping while she was stuck in retail employment but whatever the situation was she decided she didn't like me from the onset of our encounter. My day was going great until and after I left Nordstroms I felt like just going home and calling it quits for the day. Nordstroms employees sucked the life out of me in less than 15 mins. I did get a little satisfaction due to the fact that Maria had boogers hanging whilst giving me a superior attitude and I let her know she should clean her nose before stepping out on the retail floor with a that attitude because you got BOOGERS... #dead read more

When I saw that Nordstrom rack was coming to Santa Rosa I thought FINALLY! Some decent shopping coming into town as all the other good stores like gap, banana republic, etc. all left and while at first the store had a really great selection of items but boy has the selection drastically gone downhill. It feels more like a Marshall's to me now (nothing wrong with that I love Marshall's but selection wise comparable but price points are not) I also have heard from friends/family that work for Nord corporate that they tend to stock merchandise based on what sells/ geared towards the crowd that shops there and I think that's how most retail stores do it too. I'm almost always disappointed when I go here to give it another chance and now have to find elsewhere to go which is usually out of the area. I dread thinking about having to do my shopping out at Corte Madera so PLEASE - if anyone at Nordstrom rack is listening - stock better merchandise with a wider selection like you once did read more

this place reminds me of a cheap thrift store with high prices for mediocre crap if you're looking for gym clothes they have it... I however like labels and quality stuff not one cute thing there cept for Steve Madden gloves that's what I got that's the only thing I found worth spending my money on... One halfway expects anything associated with the name Nordstrom to be a good shopping experience! The Santa Rosa rack, is anything but! My friend really wanted to go in there... And it wasn't busy at all. We couldn't get any help in any department while employees were on their cell phones. The shoe department was a safety hazard, the clothing was racked so poorly that some of it was actually damaged! I just left the store, because when things are that disorganized and unfriendly I just leave :-) my friend went to the register to complain. The manager was most helpful and called several of the employees over and talked to them. Kudos to the manager for trying so hard. The issue was not being understaffed, Clearly many not all of the employees don't care. I tried to shop there three times now without success... I just give up. The rating say at all! And it was not this managers fault. As things grow more competitive, I hope the employees will recognize that if they don't do their jobs, the store won't survive and they won't have jobs. read more

I was SO excited to get a Nordstrom of any kind that's nearby. I live in Petaluma and don't have the opportunity to always drive down to Marin County! As a card holder and a VERY dedicated Nordstrom shopper, I am saddened to say I am very disappointed with the cheap merchandise they carry but what's even worse is the awful customer service I received on one of my visits recently! I was trying to "exchange" NOT return a dress and the cashier would not budge! She exchanged it for half the price and said there was absolutely no way for her to look up the item on my Nordstrom's card! Really?!?! This wasn't what even bothered me! She looked very uninterested and was rude through the entire transaction! I'd rather drive and get in traffic for hours and receive amazing customer service in Marin County then come here and be disrespected by a high schooler! read more

If there was an option for a negative star rating this Nordstrom Rack certainly deserves it! The customer service I received today was inexcusable. As I waited in a line with fifteen others, three staff member folded clothes in their check out stations, leaving only two young ladies actually actively checking out customers. When I stated that they may need to open more check outs, I was snapped at by a staff member, then given a snotty comment. I guess juvenile behavior is an acceptable manor in which to address clients at this Nordstrom Rack, as was the eye rolling and groans which accompanied my items once I was finally able to check out. The management policies should be reviewed and the current junior high staff promptly fired. Save yourself the hassle and drive pass this piss poor excuse of a store! read more

I was excited also to see a Rack in town. However, my experience reflects the other shoppers who found this Rack to be only low end merchandise. I shop the Rack online, so I gave it two stars because it allows me to return (and thus try more) items from online purchases. read more

I bought a pair of Nikes here, spent $80 on them. They started falling apart after one wear. Brought them back with receipt and was received very rudely as if I had stolen them when I had the receipt. read more

Definitely been to other Racks that have a much better selection. Waited forever to get it in Santa Rosa. A bit disappointing. I prefer Macy's. read more
