After hearing a this place for over a year, I finally made it down to Nor'East Treats and Eats. It's located on the side of a car dealership and there are little signs in the parking lot directing you where to go so it's pretty easy to find. They have breakfast and lunch, sandwiches, burgers, milkshakes, desserts. Everything is homemade and delicious. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and it was so delicious. This place is the standard I wish most other places operated by. This is a family run joint, and you can't miss how much heart goes into running this place. I've been in a few times now and every single time, the friendliness and caring is palpable. Add to that the fact that their burgers are absolutely top tier and you've got a winning combination. I most recently called in a pick-up order, and opted for some additional items to dress my burgers. When I went to pick it up, they let me know that they've opted to add those add-ons on the side, encouraging me to have the burgers as is. To be honest, it was a brainfart on my part; ordered without thinking through the fact that these burgers are practically curated, layer for layer. I'm glad that they opted to protect their product - and my tastebuds - by giving me that heads-up. They didn't have the soup of the day that day, so instead I got to try their carrot cake, which was offensively delicious. Now I've got to go in and eat my way through the rest of their desserts. Oh, and they even offer a dog patty, which is absurdly kind and thoughtful. Tried them again for breakfast and once again was not disappointed in their food! Order their breakfast sandwiches which are customized to your liking. French toast with the fruit in the side. Was suggested by the chef to try their French toast blueberry casserole they were trying out and it for sure did not miss. Coffee was tasteful as well. Since trying the breakfast and lunch menu, this place is for sure top of my list as a "never miss, good as hell" place to eat! We happened upon this gem while looking for a juicy burger on my first foray from the house a week after surgery. It was a wonderful surprise- what what- INSIDE a car dealership? The signature burger was among the top 10 I've ever eaten! Caution- it's à la carte, so no side comes with the burger. We got the fries to share; they were plentiful but eh. I come every time my car is being serviced.. I was here in November, ordered an omelet it was very good. I ordered the same thing today. It had very little cheese too many tomato's . It was suppose to be a ham and cheese. I thought the tomato's were just gonna be a garnish. They were cooked in the omelet. I didn't like that. It was a definitely a different cook this time.. I think the next time I come I'll stick with something simple, like a grill cheese or something like that... The service is excellent.. I had a coworker tell me there was a cafe in Town and Country Ford that made the best burger in Charlotte. Based on context clues, I assumed he was very wrong. I was at the dealership having my truck serviced and popped in for lunch, and it turns out he was right! I had the Bourbon glaze burger with a side of fries and it was outstanding. The space is small and has all the best greasy spoon vibes, but is very clean and inviting. I walked in a few minutes after 12 on a weekday and didn't wait at all. The food came out fast, fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and kind. The burger was great, and had a great profile of flavors. Loved it! What an amazing hidden gem inside a car dealership! One of my friends works at the dealership so I met her here for lunch, was my first time there and best believe won't be my last! Service was exceptional, some of the friendliest staff I've ever met! The cashier was very patient with me while I made my choices because I literally wanted to try everything haha. I had a lot of questions and he was so nice answering what he could and if he didn't know the answer, he got the owner and he would answer for me. I settled in on the Vermont maple burger. Fresh egg, melty cheese, perfectly cooked bacon and some of the best seasoned patties I've ever had. The burger was so good I wanted to cry in happiness lol. The onion rings were amazing too. When the cashier brought out my plate, one of the onion rings slipped on the floor, before he cleaned it up, he was so nice to go back to the kitchen to get me a fresh one to replace it. There isn't a single restaurant on this side of Charlotte where the staff is this nice, the order is customizable with a smile, and good lord thank the heavens!?? Every new thing I tried is just fresh, well priced, and delicious. Reuben - omg. Melty, messy, delicious. I have to stop myself from going back due to a possible cardiac arrest from the love I feel for this sandwich. Fish and chips - a little pricey upon ordering, but OMG these are proper. Like UK proper for fish. Chips, not as good, but with the salt and vinegar and fish portions, I ended up taking the rest of Friday off of work.... Why? Pure happiness from the crispy fish. This might be the best in Charlotte. Breakfast burrito/tortilla wrap - I made my own standard thing with hash browns, sausage, eggs, cheese, jalapeños, grilled onions. They need this thing on the menu. So good. I probably overloaded it, I had lunch and linner. Connecticut college cup - this should be on an epic breakfast list for Charlotte. So there's your update. Found the Nor'East Family Treats and Eats food truck at the Matthew's community farmers market. The market hours were over but they were still making food for shoppers. We got the Maine Meat Monster Breakfast Basket. It was layers of deliciousness covered in white gravy. All of the breakfast staples are in this basket. Eggs and cheese, bacon, sausage and hasbrowns were all cooked to perfection. I would definitely order this basket again. What a hidden gem! And when I say hidden I mean you really have to know where you're going because it's located inside of the Ford dealership. However don't let that deter you because it's still really easy & quick! I usually pick up to-go orders and it's always ready on time and the food is fresh & piping hot! The owners are so sweet & accommodating, I called last minute to put a to go order in & after the fact I realized I wouldn't make it there in time before they closed but they didn't mind one bit. So, I have to be honest, but I had never heard of this Food Truck until my apartment complex sent out an invite for their upcoming arrival. They offered a preorder menu, which was great. We were able to preorder with a selected pickup time or order at the window the night of arrival. I chose to walk down and place my order, which was so easy and service was phenomenal! I chose to order their cheeseburger combo, which comes with fries and a soda and a two scoop ice cream treat, yes, they offer ice cream too. I received a pickup time, and they also called me 5 minutes before my order, for pickup. The burger was amazing, a double patty with cheese on a brioche roll. The fries were good, but a little overdone for my liking. Unfortunately I did not get my Sprite. As for the ice cream, a perfect ending! Oh, one more thing to add. Their secret sauce is amazing!! Nor'East served up a HUGE Reuben sandwich and some pretty wild cheesy bacon fries (although the fries were a little bit saltier than I liked). Did I mention the sandwich was HUGE?!?!! There was so much food we had to skip going back for dessert. Excellent food and personable people who were very conscientious about what they were serving and who was still waiting for what. Our family started following their food truck during COVID! If you have not had their Maple burger - you are missing out!! Today we had breakfast at their cafe location at Town and Country Ford. I had the French toast which was served with fresh blueberries. It was delicious. My husband enjoyed hash browns and an omelet with sausage and sweet peppers and said it was one of the best omelets he has ever had. Food truck outside of Divine Barrel tonight. They have a pretty large menu & was nice enough to provide them for inside the brewery to look at while it rained outside. The onion rings were excellent, especially with whatever their crack sauce is. Most of our table got the bacon barbecue burger, which is customizable.
