I went the the Geico autox repair since it was listed as one of the sites after getting rear ended. I dropped off my car and they coordinated a pick up to the rental car next door. They kept me updated with regular texts about the status of the car, parts ordered, and when the car was returned to me it had been washed and cleaned, looking like new! Thank you! read more

I was recommended to come here by my insurance company after a fender bender, and my goodness what amazing care they took of my car! I was a little nervous because it was my daily driver and I was going on vacation just 2 weeks after the accident, and this team worked very fast and extremely well - their work is high quality! Admittedly I was borderline harassing the front desk staff (Roz) and when I met her in person she was so sweet and reassured me that I wasn't a bother! I'm actually surprised at the reviews here. This place was the closest certified Tesla body shop to me, but I will never bring a car here ever again. I don't know if it's just Teslas, but based on the quality of work they were willing to let out the door, I don't have any confidence in their work on other cars either. First off, this place charges an arm and a leg. My car was rear-ended and it caused some damage to the trunk and rear bumper - they charged about $12K for parts and their work. I get it - Tesla parts and work cost more to do, but on other cars that have had the same work done, the body shop only charged about $2K. $10K more just because it was a Tesla? I don't know... Secondly, their work on doing paint protection film looked amateurish. Whoever cut out the film did such a poor job.. the cut outs were jagged like a 2nd grader did the cutting. Plus, the film wasn't completely flush with the car at the edges so dirt got caught underneath. Thirdly, the emblems on our car were black - they came stock chrome, but we had chrome delete vinyl on the emblem. When they returned the car, they just returned it as the chrome emblem, so the one in front and back did not match, showing very poor attention to detail. When they did it the 2nd time, they just painted the emblem instead. Doesn't look great, but whatever. Lastly - and this was the most egregious... the trunk door was installed with significant panel gaps. I had to bring it back for them to re-do it. When they re-did it, the trunk door was lopsided - one side's gap was significantly larger than the other. This was their second attempt at it and they just made it worse. You don't even need to be close to the car to see the gap.. you can easily see it from at least 10-20 feet away. For the amount that they charged, the work was unacceptable. Definitely never going back there ever again. read more

I have been fortunate to not require auto body service but when my Tesla needed work, Tesla recommended Flower Hill. From beginning to end the experience was beyond what I would have expected for car repair service. Lou walked me thru the process and helped handle the car inspection as well. They all appear to be very proud, confident and calm, which totally subverted my impression of a car service place:)))) including their working uniform: an old school neat n clean cut grey polo shirt and khaki pants. Mike Dimarsico is a towering and fairly young man. He had been honest and overly calm for his age I think in the entire process of taking care of my car. He kept me posted with valuable information, replied my emails in a very timely manner. I have not experienced one doubtful, worrying moment when they had my car there. Even when I called him for a last minor readjustment. He maintained his imperturbable status. I'm writing a review under my dad's account because I didn't sign up for yelp, but wanted to review Flower Hill to hopefully help others who are looking for an auto body shop. I was so upset when my car was hit, my car is my baby! (2017 Mazda 6 named Ruby, lol) My dad has used Flower Hill in the past and kept assuring me that they were the best and I had nothing to worry about. When we dropped the car off we spoke to Jim. He was very nice and also reassured me that my baby was in good hands. They were great at coordinating the payment with the insurance company and set us up with a rental car. It was a very easy process and they kept us up to date on everything along the way. When the car was finished and we went to pick it up, there were unfortunately a few issues that still needed to be corrected, BUT, they fixed it all very quickly, and the car came out AMAZING when they were done! I am very happy with the final repairs and it actually looks better than new now! I'm so happy that I took it to Flower Hill, now I'm able to enjoy driving her again. Fantastic body shop. I've had nothing but bad body shop experiences and decided to try this one based on their reputation. I'm just about the most picky person there is when it comes to my car having spent hours detailing it and putting so much effort into maintaining it so I was obviously heartbroken when someone hit me. Flower hill gave me a quick estimate, took care of everything without reaching out to me once with any issues. It was a flawless execution and they completed a repair that easily would have taken 4-5 weeks for just a standard body shop in just two weeks. This is without reserve one of the top body shops around and is the ONLY place i'll reccomend. Also, Joe and the other managers are professional and understanding (especially to picky owners). If you have a car that you care about even in the slightest don't waste your time elsewhere and take it to flower hill. In terms of work quality, its a factory finish/assembly down to each nut and bolt. Completely rebuilt exactly as it rolled off the assembly line. Zero compromises in the repair process. read more

The only reason why I am giving this place a one star review is because in life people should honor there word and not put there customers in a corner , for example, if someone promises you something from day one and then the second they receive the check from the insurance company they turn around and call you and tell you sorry we are not going to do what we promised you "it is what it is "is exactly what the OWNER John told me and then what makes it worse is when I said ok how much for me to take my car out so I could take it elsewhere he tells me $11,000 meanwhile NOTHING WAS DONE to my car yet. at the end of the day you shouldn't put your customers in a corner. only reason why I had even given them one star is because the gentleman I was dealing with lou was an AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME guy he was honest and upfront with me from the day my Mclaren was dropped off. I recommend if anyone promises you anything from this body shop make sure you get it in writing. I will NEVER send anyone I know going to this place because its the typical shake down body shop just like the rest of them only difference is they deal with high end cars. such a shame the employees have to work for a character like this guy " John" and what makes it worse he never showed his face or apologized once. I had to get my lower door molding replaced so I purchased the OEM part online, brought it to them to get it painted and installed on my Audi and was expecting it to cost at least $150 but was blown away when they told me it would be less than half that price. I dropped it off on Friday morning and picked it up the very next morning. The quality of their work is great. They even dropped me off and picked me up from the nearby Port Washington LIRR train station! I went to Flower Hill right before Christmas. I had been at Bed, Bath & Beyond a few days prior on a very windy day when a shopping cart careened at full speed into the side of my new Audi as I was driving. The collision left multiple gashes that remained even after I took it to the car wash. (I was hoping!) I was apprehensive about dealing with the car repair on my own because I had always relied on my Dad, brother or boyfriend for these types of issues and worried that I would be taken advantage of because I am not a guy. Nonetheless, I did some research, read some reviews and decided on Flower Hill because they had great feedback on the quality of their work. I assumed, because of the location, they would charge me the most but having the car repaired flawlessly was my first concern. I met with Jim who was so professional, polite and kind. Jim looked at the damage to my car, immediately said that I would be very happy and asked if I minded if he drove the car into the garage. Seriously? He then walked me into the office waiting area (which was lovely, complete with kitchenette, television, magazines, restroom, etc.) and asked me if I wanted coffee, tea, water. I was in the waiting area for about 25 minutes when no less than three men who worked in the office smiled, asked if I was being helped and offered me coffee or tea. I thought, this will cost me, but wow. Jim returned and brought me to my car. The gashes were virtually gone. I would say the damage was 90% less noticeable. Jim said he had hoped that he could buff everything out but that there were two small indentations. How honest is that? Jim said he had a guy whose specialty was pushing out the indentations from the inside (which could only be done in situations like mine where the paint was not chipped) and gave me his number to schedule an appointment. Jim said that the work on the dents would be under $300. Relieved, I asked Jim what I owed him for the work that was just done. He said that there was no charge. Seriously? I thanked him and phoned the guy that Jim had asked me to call. Tommy was equally professional, polite and kind asking me what MY availability was to bring in the car. I responded by asking HIS availability. He said tomorrow or the next day or the following week. I told him I would bring the car back to Flower Hill the next morning. I picked my car up a few hours after I had dropped it off, unfortunately never meeting Tommy, and the car was showroom perfect. When I asked Jim how much I owed, it was significantly less than the "under $300" Jim had quoted. I never write reviews and I apologize for this long winded one but I never dreaded something so much that ended up being an incredibly positive experience. I will never stress as much in the future with any car repairs because I found a place I trust with honest professionals who do top notch work. My friend just had her car keyed and I told her that I have the BEST place for her to go to repair the damage. read more

During the holiday, a 20 year-old guy crashed into my new SUV -a VW Tiguan- while it was parked on the street. I loved my car and wanted to make sure if it's going to get fixed, that I put it in the right hands. I did research and found that Flower Hill Auto Body was Volkswagen Certified and they only use genuine VW parts. My car was in bad shape and it had to be towed to the shop. I found out that my car unfortunately is totaled so Flower Hill didn't work on my car. But I really appreciated how pleasant and patient everyone there was to me during this upsetting process. Today, I went to pick up my personal belongings and Lou helped me gather my stuff which was nice as well. I hope I don't need any body work in the future, but I would definitely use/recommend Flower Hill Auto Body based on their customer service skills and the other great reviews I found in my research. read more

I had nothing but the best experience here! I brought my damaged car to Lou and the second I met him I knew I was in good hands. All I had to do was leave it there and he did everything from A to Z! He provided me with a rental car, spoke with my insurance agent, helped file the claim and guided me in the right direction the whole way through. Amazing!!!! The paint on our car was ruined from a leak in the ceiling at the garage we park our car in. We brought it into Flower Hill based on a recommendation from a friend and i'm so happy I made the trek all the way to Long Island! From drop off to pick up the service was unbelievable. I opened up this account just to write this review. My car is an audi 2013 a4 which i had for less than a month until it was hit while parked. They dented in my fender and damaged the headlight as well as some damage to the hood and bumper. After reading reviews and also looking for audi certified body shops i decided to come here. From the start calling the up they were pleasant and respectful. When i got there I dealt with Lou who assured me that they would deal with the entire process with my insurance. He took down what happened and my insurance information and asked me if i needed a car. There was an enterprise down the street which he said could be a bit pricey but he had a new nissan on the lot that i could use. This car was spotless and ran great and was less than what they would have charged me at enterprise. He checked the damage and gave me a rundown on what would be needed and the time it would take (he said he would try to get it to me in less than two weeks before the july 4th holiday). He then asked if there was anything else i needed taken care of and i showed him a major chip in my bumper and scratches on the driver side of the car. He took my number and let me know he would text me every step of the way. I had only one call with my insurance verifying that they would be the repair shop of the car and if i had a rental vehicle. As promised after the insurance was dealt with i received the texts letting me know the parts were ordered and the work would begin. I also got a call from lou letting me know the same. Today i received the car back (less than two weeks as promised) and let me tell you this car looks show room status. He was right and he had left my car better than when i initially purchased the car. They also cleaned the inside and removed all scratches, as promised, free of charge. Mind you they had to remove the bumper do work on it and repaint it to make it look like new. From beginning to end the service was A+ and another member of the staff, maybe another son, explained everything to me and even, who i believe to be the father came out and shook my hand and said he hoped i liked the job. I will refer anyone needing body work to this location especially if they are driving a luxury car. Their front entrance looks like a show room of sports cars. read more
