Haven't been to Park Meadows for a while. Recently noticed the addition of Nori Japan, the third Asian eatery in the food court (the other two are Panda Express and Shanghai 360). They had freshly made proteins with teriyaki sauce, served with white rice alone, or in bento with sushi. spring roll and gyoza. They also had a variety of sushi rolls, poke as well as fried rice and fried noodle. Ordered the beef teriyaki bento. The portion was adequate, the teriyaki beef was tender and tasty. The sushi, spring roll and gyoza were also better than expectation for food court food. Certainly a good and convenient dining option.

Very quick and tasty food. Really good for mall food. They make it in front of you to order so kinda like hibachi. Tasted fresh and huge portions for price. The service was just a little pushy for me. But if I go back to this mall then I will be getting this again.

Nori Japan is your quick teriyaki joint that offers fresh ingredients and cooked in front of you....and that's pretty much it. Portions are huge but severely lacking in flavor and they pile the generic teriyaki sauce on top. I ordered the beef teriyaki with noodles and the noodles were so oily that I was unable to finish my lunch. He beef was cooked well but was also lacking in the flavor department. What they need to do is marinate their meat before hand instead of trying to play catch up with the sauce after they make your meal. Portions are huge but it does not cover up it's faults. I would pass.

Best quick Japanese food I've had in my life. It's even up there with the best food I've had in my life. Got the beef and shrimp bento box, absolutely peak portions and flavor. Employees know what they're doing and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I've never thought of a mall food court will have such good quality food, they had really good teriyaki sauce there usually the others makes the sauce sweet but they made it perfectly , balance the sweet & salty flavor also the park meadows sushi rolls are the besttttttttt!!!!!!!

Scam alert. Let's talk about their shady business practices. I asked for a number 5. Beef and shrimp. The cashier asked if I'd like to add extra meat for the extra fees. I knew I was going to add chicken so I said let's add chicken. In stead of adding chicken she removed the #5 and changed it to a chicken and shrimp and up charged me for the beef. I didn't notice until she gave me the receipt. I then asked why she changed the order to up charge me for the beef and she said that's what we are trained to do.(with an attitude) Now the up charge is only 20cents but 20cents adds up. I then asked her who the manager of the restaurant was and she said he wasn't there. I had to ask her 3 times before she John's the manager but he's not there. For the food, as the other reviews state. The food is bland and watered down. Teriyaki madness is down the street. Sarku is way better.

Great food at a good value. I was standing in line for Chipotle when the owner of Nori offered me a sample. I was sold.

This place ... Wow!…read more If you get a chance to come to Denver, go out of your way to come here. Absolutely delicious. It's like a portal to Japan. Everything is authentic. The atmosphere, the food, and the staff. Perfect! Everything we ordered was great. The fish neck, tempura, and karage were so good. I don't normally eat fish neck but I couldn't pass this up. Sorry about the picture of karage, my wife started grabbing pieces before I got a chance to take a picture. Moist and flavorful. The dipping sauce that came with it paired well with it. The tempura was lightly fried and the sauce completed that dish. The entree, with so much we ordered I'm shocked we had room for the entrees. My wife fell in love with their yakisoba. She said it brought her back to Japan haha. I had the tongkatsu and beef curry. It really hit the spot. Filling and delicious. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The spot we were at was pretty hot, so they brought a fan for us. Do not just order from here. Come and experience this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Wouldn't expect this sort of hole in the wall place to have quality sushi on par with some of the best sushi places in Denver- but it's really authentic and good. I also tried vegetable tempura, miso soup, curry udon, and a few hand rolls- everything was delicious and I will definitely be back. The happy hour deals were really reasonably priced.

This place, unfortunately, failed to impress me. Here is how my takeout order went today…read more A good size sushi restaurant. The elaborate wallpaper and wall art inside were a bit too over-the-top and yet, I can simply say that they paid attention to create what the restaurant names says it: Sakura. It's pretty much pink. Each table is also beautifully done on the surface with Sakura art. Kind of cute. Service - Good. The lady who greeted me asked me "How many?" to which I said "To go, please." She immediately handed me the laminated menu so I can mark with a pen and the regular menu booklet. From the moment I gave her my order and the moment I got my food, there was only 5 minutes or less time that elapsed. I was a bit shocked how quickly they prepared my food (she said I was the first person to place an order for the night. Well, Whereas I am not complaining about the fast service, it was suspiciously too fast!!) Mistake - As soon as I got home, I opened the bag. The kitchen or possibly the lady who got my order made a mistake by giving me the miso soup instead of salad (miso soup or salad comes with the Sashimi Dinner ($32.00 as of mid-August of 2025). I clearly and loudly said I wanted the salad but in her mind, the salad became the miso soup (LOL). Although I don't think it was intentional, mistake is a mistake. A bit disappointed....Well, you wanna know how the miso soup tasted? It was decent! Food - What I got tonight are/were...1) Sashimi Dinner, Edamame ($6.00) and, 3) Side White Rice ($3) and I think in this kind of economy, these prices are fairly in range. Let me rate each one. Sashimi Dinner - It was okay-ish. It didn't impress me. I really don't have anything more to say about this sashimi plate. Edamame - Good and yet they didn't sprinkle any salt (I don't think). Maybe they knew I hate salt (LOL!!) Well, in many cases, I dislike salty dishes so to be considerate of people who dislike salty stuff, this is what the restaurant does by not sprinkle any salt over steamed edamame (so in other words, "salt it yourself" type situation?) I guess this isn't a bad thing after all. White Rice - Meh. It tasted like hand lotion a little bit. I have an experience with this and that is why I am very sensitive to it (unfortunately, it was my own mother who used hand lotion before she prepared food/meals for me and my brother so some food she cooked/prepared for us tasted just like hand lotion.) I can have a benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't be so insensitive by handling food with lotioned-up hands. Or maybe it's the kind of rice they buy. Whatever the case may be, this rice was no no for me. Yes, there are a few things I can talk about this restaurant in a positive way but all in all, it was a disappointing experience. Will I go back? Maybe not.

Despite the high price point, having no soy sauce ramekins, a terrible drink (only ordered a margarita because the other cocktail options are limited), and nonexistent servers- I was just hoping for the food to be correctly brought out and tasty. Nope. Didn't get that either. When they brought the food out, it wasn't what we ordered, and our server vanished. After waiting for a long time, while being very hungry, I ate of one of the pieces of the salmon nigiri (there were 3 of us and only 2 pieces of the correct nigiri- I needed to eat something!). When the server reappeared she was busy on the hibachi side doing something (we were the only table in the entire restaurant), didn't check on us, so I got up to go talk to her about the mix-up. She was VERY confused, but after re-explaining multiple times, she brought us the additional yellowtail nigiri that we originally ordered along with the salmon roll that you can see on the photo I included. After seeing what our (not so cheap) roll looked like, I was pretty much over this place and wanted to just leave. Our bill was high and included the salmon nigiri that we did not order. Once again I had to get up to go talk to the server, and explain the situation despite us having already discussed it. She instantly said, "But you ate it!", and that is what ultimately led to me writing a review rather than just looking ahead and never coming back. At this point, I am arguing with this woman trying to explain that we came to eat a meal, were hungry, couldn't find the server and inevitably ate 1 of 2 pieces of salmon nigiri that we did not order since there were 3 people and only 2 pieces of what we did order. She did not agree with me, so I left it at: we are not paying for the salmon, you can bring me the updated bill. It's rare (for me) to experience a server be so argumentative, and I've never seen sushi so poorly rolled. This place isn't it. I never want to give a business a bad review, but this is unfortunately warranted. Try literally anywhere else as there are multiple other sushi restaurants within 10 minutes of this place.
