This is a secret delicious sushi and ramen spot in a shopping center. Went to IKEA right before and came across this spot. It was packed and the only place that had customers in the entire shopping center. A variety of saki options on the menu, along with gluten free options! They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions and our waitress was the best! We had fun laughing with her and making jokes. Will come back there when I'm back in this area again, or visiting IKEA.
Found this spot while shopping nearby. Wow. Delicious ramen with a huge bowl. I had the tonkotsu which had a classic flavor and was very filling, I even had leftovers. I forgot to take a picture because I just started chowing down. The ramen comes with a house salad with miso dressing that was literally so delicious. I almost bought a bottle! We also had the shishito peppers. The portion was small but they tasted great. My partner prefers to eat gluten free and they had a whole dedicated menu to gluten free and gluten free soy sauce. Our server was Janifer. She was so much fun to interact with. She joked with us and was super attentive. We definitely will be back!! Chill vibe. Casual dinning with music playing.
This place was a bit hidden but pretty refreshing. From outside, it looked pretty small but when we came inside I was shocked at the openess. I also liked the decorations too. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food came out quick too. My wife enjoyed the takoyaki. It had a crunch to it and she really liked the taste. I had to keep it consistent and ordered the ramen. The color was different than other ramen. I did notice it had onions and added a sweet flavor. Overall it was still good. The beef was delicious.
Lunch specials are always a great option--but if sushi is involved, I'm in heaven! Lunch specials are served until 3 PM, and there are plenty of choices. You can go with the 2- or 3-roll special, which includes miso soup and a side salad, or opt for a bento box. The full details are outlined in the menu, but to give you an idea: you can choose either a couple of sushi rolls or one roll and sashimi (for a small extra charge), with base prices starting around $14 or $19. Service was quick, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is relatively small, but they serve good food--which is what really matters. For my lunch, I chose two rolls, and the soup and salad made a nice introduction to the main course. I would've loved a bit more wasabi, but overall, I'd definitely return to try another lunch item--or who knows, maybe a whole lot more sushi
Wow, what a great little place surrounded by businesses. The place is small, casual, decorated, and clean. We got here just in good timing to take advantage of their HH menu so we can try a few things. Our server was very pleasant and polite. We ordered some bulgogi sliders, vegetable tempura, spicy tuna and California rolls off their HH menu. All the food was fantastic. We both really liked the bulgogi sliders and vegetable tempura. We ordered the pork and kimchi gyoza and the shoyu beef ramen to share. The gyozas were okay. The shoyu beef ramen was delicious. At the end of the night our bill came and we both found it to be very reasonable for everything that we ordered. This place is one that I will come back to.
We stopped in here for lunch and I was excited to see that they do lunch specials even on the weekend! The base bento doesn't have many choices so many items were an upcharge, but it did come with a miso soup which was nice. We opted for teriyaki salmon ( upcharge) and 5 piece sashimi ( upcharge). The sashimi - especially the hamachi, was delicious. The salmon was overcooked, but still ok. It also came with salad and veggie tempura and both were good. I'd definitely do this again. Service was attentive and friendly.
We came to Denver, CO for work and found this Ramen and sushi restaurant; we really enjoyed the food; and the broth for the ramen was really delicious, the sushi was fresh and delicious as well. The customer service was great and we really enjoyed our waiter she was very nice and friendly and she took very great care of us. Food was very good. I had the spicy seafood Ramen. When I first tasted it I thought ,oh this is hot. But after a couple bites, I was used to it and it was delicious. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bento box. It was good also. Service was excellent and the ambience was typical Japanese strip mall. Very clean and neat. Overall a good experience.
The sushi was amazing! Large cuts of fish, even an extra sashimi piece with the 2 pieces of nigiri! Not sure if that was a bonus or if that is the regular serving, but I'll be back when in the area. Ramen was ok, lots of different ingredients. Sliced red onion, bean sprouts, nori, lots of red ginger (a bit too much for my taste). The chashu pork didn't have much flavor, but the marinated egg was really good. Broth seemed to be more of a beef base flavor (like pho) rather than pork although it was really white like the pork based broths. It also came with a green salad which was a nice bonus. Bonus orange and mango dessert! Nice touch! Service was quick and timely, nice upbeat music with contemporary decor.
Did I even visit my sister if we didn't get sushi? I finally got to try @denmasushi for the first time. My sister has been hyping up this place and the food did not disappoint! We ordered spicy edamame which had exactly the right amount of kick without the greasiness of other spicy edamames I have had. We demolished this pretty much immediately. I then ordered the Mango Lover & the Vader Roll. The thing I really loved about this restaurant is that everything tasted so light and refreshing. Getting a tempura shrimp or imitation crab roll can sometimes be not very flavor filled but I had no complaints. The real star was the Vader roll. I am cautious about salmon as I am normally not a fan of cooked salmon but I wanted to try a type of roll I hadn't had before but I'm not still not adventurous with various types of fish. The batter was thin and crunchy, the salmon was thankfully not overcooked, giving the sushi texture that I still wanted and the asparagus added a little twist of flavor that made this a deliciously unlike roll. Another interesting thing about this meal is that while I got PLENTY of food I didn't feel weighed down and bloated after finishing. Normally I feel like a hippo after eating this much sushi at other places. Customer service did have room for improvement as they were not remotely busy but the waitress took quite awhile to take our orders, refill waters, give us the check, etc. I would give them for food and for overall experience and service. Grateful for a delicious meal on my sisters dime
A friend and I were craving cozy ramen after all the rain and she recommended giving Denma a try. Super glad we did! We had to rush a little to make it for lunch (they close at 2pm) but it was totally worth it. Service was attentive and friendly and they accommodated our additional requests with no issue; I had the kimchi ramen but wanted tofu instead of bacon and my friend went veggie ramen but wanted an egg. Both dishes were fantastic -- hit the spot, was a good amount of food and reasonably priced. Will certainly come back when I'm in the area!

Great customer service from start to finish! There's plenty of parking right out front, and the restaurant is spacious with a mix of bar seating, tables, and comfortable bench seating. The FIFA match was on TV, and when I asked if they could switch the audio over to the game, they were more than happy to accommodate. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even better. The staff checked in regularly without being overbearing, and my food arrived beautifully presented. My bento box came with miso soup and a fresh salad, which was a nice touch. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility of the bento boxes, you can customize them by choosing the items you want, and they offer a great variety of sushi rolls to pick from. Just a heads-up that the lunch bento special is available until 2:00 p.m. on weekdays and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. Overall, a great spot for sushi with attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food. I'd definitely come back! read more
Food is always delicious but the last few times our family came in - service was not good. 1hr each time to get food and it seemed they were purposely not having us order right away - dropped drinks off and ran away to a back kitchen area without us not having a chance to order food for a long time- maybe because they have one chef for the whole place is our guess? We will do takeout but the wait for food and poor service is too much to eat in. read more

So good! Denma has quickly become our go-to spot for amazing ramen (I love the build-your-own option). Their sushi is always fresh and delicious - have tried nigiri and rolls and enjoyed all. Service is always great - friendly & attentive. read more

We came to Denver, CO for work and found this Ramen and sushi restaurant; we really enjoyed the food; and the broth for the ramen was really delicious, the sushi was fresh and delicious as well. Was craving ramen and sushi on a snowy day. I tried the lunch special 2 roll (California and shrimp tempura) and Tonkatsu ramen. Thought the rolls were decent and good portion size. Also enjoyed the miso soup and salad it came with. (Though too much dressing). As much as I wanted to love this place - the ramen was not that great. flavor of the broth was bland and too many things in the ramen / didn't taste or look authentic at all. read more
We've tried Denma twice in the last month or so. The first time for lunch and the bento boxes were large, filling and delicious that we decided to come back for dinner on another night. This time my partner ordered the chicken teriyaki after having it in the bento box. The meal was super large and the chicken was paired perfectly with the other flavors. I ordered the Nagoya set and my meal didn't come out anywhere near the time the hot food did which was a little disappointing but manageable. The nigiri sushi was super fresh and had a good balance, the California roll was nothing special so next time I'd just order nigiri as a highlight to the fresh fish. Will definitely be back to Denma to try more options here in the future! read more

Fantastic intimate location for ramen, sushi, bento box, appetizers. Pay attention to the hours; open for lunch and dinner but not all afternoon. The sliders (pork belly or bulgogi) are amazing. read more

Really impressed! We moved from the San Francisco Bay Area where there is world class sushi. Denma is the best we have found in our region, beating all but the most expensive high end omakase boutiques in San Francisco. Open airy modern interior, friendly and responsive staff. The lunch special sushi and sashimi are outstanding deals and super fresh. For dinner on another visit we ordered vegetarian ramen which they kindly split into two very large portions for us. We have been four times in two weeks! And will be back soon! read more

Just want to do a shout out to this place with coveted 5 star Yelp rating. It is a hidden gem in the arena flooded with mediocre offerings and run by people who does not know what sushi is all about. It takes lot of knowledge to run the business effectively. This place got it all tied together effectively. Atmosphere: very nice and clean and decorated nicely. Menu and price: lots to choose from and great value for the money Staff: working like a well greased machine. Seated right away during busy lunch hours, all of our request was met quickly even though there was lot of customers. Food: Only had a chance to eat lunch size sashimi and sushi combination and share shishito peppers with coworker. Comes with a miso soup and the salad. Soup was not over powering, but others may say too blend. Salad was served cold with mild cucumber type of dressing. My nigiri sushi is made perfectly with beautiful balance of rice and sashimi. My lunch plate also came with sashimi that was very fresh, presented in a simple but in a masterful way to bring the pleasure to the eye. Awesome plating must I say. It takes years of experience to achieve the level that is executed in carefully precise manner at fast pace. It is little bit away from my house but very close to work. I will definitely make the trip for dinner and such. Highly recommend to others to try this place out. read more

The sushi rolls were really good! The veg spicy rice had lot of veggies and was delicious! The service is fast and it's a good authentic Asian place with good flavours! Lots of parking space. read more

This is a nice place on County Line about a mile from I-25. Clean, nice ambiance and decor. Service was quick and friendly. We had the bento boxes with miso soup, 1 shrimp and vegetable tempura, California roll (seemed small) and chicken teriyaki with a salad. Teriyaki had good flavor! read more

Enjoyed a Friday lunch here (not too busy and seated right away, about 1pm). Very Covid compliant, minimal spaced out seating, posted menu at each table and masks required. The service was prompt and welcoming. I ordered the salmon avocado roll +jalapeño, tabiko sushi and a miso soup. Freshly made and good portion size. Overall, good experience. read more

Honestly this place knocks it out the park with the food and service! Dinner last night was everything I wanted. From the food, service, drinks, sauces, everything was amazing and DELICIOUS! Vegetable tempura roll and fried avocado were freakin delicious dipped in soy and this sweet Mayo! And I'm picky with my ramen - I like it plain spicy chicken broth and grilled chicken nothing else.. this ramen I had last night was everything I wanted. I left so incredibly happy full satisfied. Oh and the service by ashley was great she's super cool and knows all the good spots to eat. My new favorite and BEST SUSHI & RAMEN SPOT in colorado! read more

Hands down best japanese restaurant in the area. Favorite sushi & ramen spot, but their rice bowls and small plate dishes are great too. Menu also contains Korean inspired dishes and Korean/Japanese fusion. The chef's station is visible from the front door where he greets and thanks customers coming and going. Waitstaff are attentive, considerate & friendly. Clean restaurant with nice atmosphere, like a well run izakaya. Pricing is fair and serving sizes are generous. Keeps my family going back almost on a weekly basis. Always a great experience whether it's dining in or taking out. Favorite dishes: Tonkotsu Ramen, Kimchi Ramen, Kimchi bacon fried rice, Bulgogi bowl, Autumn river roll, Black dragon roll, Takoyaki, Tempura plates and of course enjoyed with a tall cold beer or sake. read more
