Ordered an array of sushi. All was pretty good, especially the spider roll. Eel sauce never fails. Also ordered calamari for appetizer, but it took a while, and they brought it out after we were already halfway through the sushi. And it wasn't traditional calamari. The interior meat was in a long block, and didn't really have any flavor. I wouldn't even call it worth $5, let alone whatever the actual price was. Creme brulee on the menu literally isn't creme brulee. It's cheesecake. I mean I guess it was good, but just call it a cheesecake. Wtf? One cool thing - my dad ordered salmon, and they gave him 4 small raw filets, and a roaring-hot stone slab, so he could cook it himself. Service was fine, but sometimes it felt like she'd forget about us for 15 mins, then come back.

Was craving sushi and wanted a not too cheap but also not too expensive place. In my opinion this place hit the spot. Solid service, clean restaurant, and pretty good food. Parking was easy as it was part of park meadows mall. Seated quickly, server was attentive, and was able to get in and out quickly. Ordered a mix of nigiri (otoro, salmon roe, uni), two rolls (spider and negi hama), but made the mistake of ordering two entrees (chirashi and kobe yakiniku). Too much food and had to take the rest home. Overall nirigi was good, salmon roe was not as seasoned. Rolls solid as well. The only thing different was the yakiniku was supposed to be a grilled rice beef bowl and not gyudon (simmered beef). Still good but not what I was expecting.

The friendliest staff members (Hunter) are happy to serve you great-quality sushi! They love to recommend rolls as the menu can be overwhelming at first glance. Hunter suggested a raw salmon appetizer with spicy sauce- it was refreshing and so tender! I couldn't stop there and he suggested another premium roll that was super tasty as well!

I love this place! Sushi is always delicious and so so fresh! The rainbow roll always does it for me and the sushi boats are so worth it. Service is always impeccable ! We've gotten Yuki/Yuka (sorry if it's incorrect spelling) but she is a gem! So friendly, sweet and so , so attentive. The restaurant is located in the vistas at park meadows so it's a good place to grab a meal to refuel for shopping

I wish I could say something more positive about last night's dining experience at Edo Higan but it didn't quite meet our expectations based on what we experienced. It was four of us girls that included my adult daughter who used to dine here quite often as this was her favorite place to eat sushi. She is quite well-versed in their menu so she could point out some of the good ones she has had in the past and yet, most of the stuff we ordered last night were something she had never had before. Her half sister had some soft-shell crab type roll which she didn't care for. She also had a Vanilla Crème Brulee at the end but it was pretty much a cheesecake and it wasn't anything like Crème Brulee at all (and tasted meh.) My daughter's travel bestie had some sort of wagyu roll which was again okay-ish. Service (although it started out pretty good as one female and one male workers collaborated to take care of us but once the restaurant got a bit busier, the quality of their attentiveness suffered. This is not the waitstaff's fault; they appeared to have way too many tables to take care of. Maybe they were understaffed last night. The fault was on the management.) At least what my daughter and I got were decent to good (my daughter got three nigiris: Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon which all looked fresh. I got me the Sashimi Dinner. The presentation was beautiful where all fish pieces were masterfully placed on ice cubes in an oversized bowl. I especially liked the escolar fish. A little fun fact about escolar. This buttery texture sometimes labeled as "white tuna" is also known as walu fish or oilfish and it belongs to the family of snake mackerel. Eating this delicacy, however, can cause gastrointestinal distress such as diarrhea if consumed in excess (LOL)! For me, it was only two pieces and I am absolutely fine as of this writing.) If I go ahead and mention more positive things about this restaurant is their Happy Hour menu. It's quite the size. I arrived first to the restaurant at/around 4:45pm where I was waiting for the other three girls. The kind female waitstaff told me to place my order as soon as possible before it ended so I took advantage of that by placing two miso soups, two edamames (one salt and the other garlic) and one house salad (they were all half off.) Other items appeared to be reasonably priced so for this reason, I might be back for a quick sushi happy hour. They seem to pay attention to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant; the entire dining room looked spotless. It's quite spacious where all tables are not in a cramped space. Well, in conclusion, giving this place a 3-star review would be fair.

Regular visitor, first time reviewer. Man, tonight's spread was so good. The daily specials WOWed me. We had a Kobe beef nigiri, spicy sweet me up, and blue fin tuna with avocado. And from the regular menu, my favorite, red snapper, plus yellow tail jalapeño hamachi roll, reed roll, and Alaskan hand roll. I could have eaten another round of everything. Fantastic.

*GLUTEN FREE / CELIAC REVIEW tons of options with a knowledgeable staff, GF items came out first and were announced as GF. They have tamari and starter options as well. We got the spicy edamame to start, and the spicy yellowfin tuna roll, mango roll, and sweet potato roll. Everything was okay, I did not get sick!

This place is solid. Good food and service. If I lived nearby I'd be here all the time.

Fantastic place to eat. We really wanted to try some sushi rolls ( I was there with my daughter). We got mango tango roll and few other items. We decided to step out of our comfort zone and order rolls that we weren't sure we would like . Wanted something different. The mango tango roll wasn't my thing but I can assure that all food was very fresh and ingredients were of a good quality! The ambience was nice. It's a cute , casual restaurant. Staff were pleasant and prices are very reasonable! We will return !

This is our go to sushi spot in the Denver area. Let's start with the ambiance, it's got a funky decor (I can't really describe it) it's super clean and we have never had to wait for a table! Also the staff is always super friendly. Happy hour is weekdays 3-6. I highly recommend going during that time and saving money bc the cocktails are a little on the pricey side. However, I think it's well worth it. The Lychee Martini is the best I've ever had and my souse loved the old Fashioned. We have eaten here numerous of times and no matter what roll we order we are always impressed. The Twister Roll and the Kobe Roll are two of our favorites but honestly we have never had a single one that we haven't enjoyed. The fish is always super fresh!!! All in all we give this place a 5 star review every single time we are here and it's the sushi place we recommend to our friends!

Ive been wanting to try this place for a while so I'm very pleased! The salad and edamame were SO fresh it was great. The salad was truly delicious. The sushi wasn't my favorite but it's because I tried something out of my comfort zone. I could tell it was done well and fresh ingredients. The nabeyaki udon is an AMAZING deal!!!!! $18 for the soup, tempura, and salad. Such a steal! The service was quick too which is nice. Cute place very casual and perfect for after mall eats!

It's definitely giving date night energy: low lighting, candlelit tables, and a cozy-but-busy atmosphere. Every time I've gone it's been pretty packed, but I've never had trouble snagging a seat (and I never make reservations). Honestly, it's become my go-to for a solo night--cocktail in hand, spicy book in the other. My routine? Friday nights. I settle in with my book, order the Thai calamari (which has the perfect punch of flavor), and wait for the 9pm special--$0.99 oysters until close on Fridays and Saturdays. Such a steal. The servers are always great, but Chris really stands out--attentive, kind, and totally gets the vibe of letting me relax and enjoy my drink and my book. I also came during Denver Restaurant Week and did their 3-course menu: calamari (obviously), the sea bass (which surprised me in the best way), and the blood orange olive oil cake... WOW. Light, citrusy, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. Most recently, I brought my boyfriend and we finally explored more of their oyster selection. Our server guided us based on our flavor preferences, and we loved a few so much we had to order another dozen. This spot is a gem--whether it's a solo unwind night or a cute date. I try to come at least once a month, and it never disappoints.

Nothing tasted all that good - the calamari is drowned in a sweet Thai chili sauce to hide how bad it is. They also have 99 cent happy hour signs plastered everywhere and the waiter made sure to point out "these are the happy hour oysters" but the fine print says that's just for one day in the future. Seems a bit suspect and intentional. Random unexplained "surcharge" of 3.5%. Not worth the money or visit, bland and overpriced food even during happy hour.

That's exactly what happened at East Moon. The menu is huge. Sushi, ramen, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes... basically something for whatever mood you're in. Usually when a restaurant tries to do that many things, something suffers. That wasn't the case here. The sushi nachos were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of those alone. The combination of fish, mango, avocado, sauces, and crispy wonton chips just worked. We also ordered gyoza, beef pad thai, a Hawaiian Dragon Roll, sashimi ceviche, and tonkotsu ramen. Everyone at the table had a different favorite, which is usually a pretty good sign. The service was also genuinely friendly, which always makes a difference. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm craving a little bit of everything.

It's either you go a little north to get to Lone Tree or a little south to get to Castle Rock to find something truly good or even decent. But the past Saturday I got lucky in the very city with something I truly love: Japanese food. After finishing up a job assignment in the very shopping center, if I was going to get food then it had to be something close by preferably a place that was walkable. I then found this place in my quick search. What a simple name! I wasted no time to go and check it out. Inside is clean and simple. Nothing fancy or special about the interior snd yet it's got some Asian touches throughout. My visit to it was met with an amazing service by a young man upfront who was friendly, professional and personable. Didn't get his name but hopefully the accolades I am showering him with by writing this review get noticed by the manager or the owner and that they will go to him personally. After browsing the menu for a good few minutes I set my eyes on the tempura tofu and the seaweed salad. Once my order was placed with him he said it would be 10-15 minutes. The time of arrival was 15 minutes before 6pm. There was only a few tables occupied by diners. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy with online or call-in orders. As such, my food (as he promised) was ready in a timely fashion. I definitely needed to eat my food in the car; I was super famished. And here is my honest and frank assessment for the two items: -Tempura tofu: great portion size for the price of $17 as of this writing in late July of 2026. The tempura tofu pieces were huge. The heat from the oil cooking was still felt as i bit into the tofu. This is a three-layered dish with tempura tofu on top, stir fried vegetables in the second layer and white rice at the bottom. The denseness of the dish is simply thick. -Seasoned salad: this was also a good portion size. The seaweed was placed on top of the greens that were fresh. This can easily be split between two people. After everything I had experienced with this business, I can comfortably say that I could see myself using this restaurant again whenever I see fit although it's, at the same time, not a place where I would drive 20+ minutes just to eat here unless I have other reason to be in the neighborhood.

Please note that I tried things that other people have mentioned in their reviews as things they liked. I had the crunchy tuna appetizer, which was essentially several golf ball sized lumps of rice deep fried, with a tiny amount of tuna and I think avocado on top. It probably should have been called the crunchy rice appetizer, and really was not, to me, worth $14. Next up was the Joker roll, which I believe is mentioned by more than one person as their favorite thing here. If you like pepper, it's the roll for you. I have never had such a peppery sushi roll in my life and I did not like it. My final roll was the mango roll. Now I know what mangoes are and I knew what I was getting, so I can't really blame the restaurant for the fact that I guess I've learned I'm not a big fan of sushi rolls with fruit on them. It was well made for what it was, just not my particular favorite. The miso soup was lovely. The restaurant was nice and clean and as I have said, the service was impeccable, friendly, really everything you would want. Which is all the more reason I was disappointed that the food did not ring a bell with me. If you go to this restaurant, I would suggest you avoid the things I've mentioned and perhaps try some others. You may have better luck than I did, and you will be served well in the process.
