We arrived @ 7:00 sat immediately. Server quickly gave us menus and water. I ordered à la carte and my date ordered items from the all you can eat for $30/person (fair price). I had a spider roll which was absolutely delicious ( I ate so quickly I forgot to take a picture. It was fresh and crispy. I also ordered the appetizer crab spring roll. They came two per order and overstuffed with spring salad mix. The ratio was way off I would have preferred less salad mix. It was hard to eat because of the amount of salad mix inside. The crab was imitation. Crab that had been shredded. My date had the all you can eat sushi which he said was very good. He tried a variety of nigiri, rolls, and tempura. His favorite was the orgasm and the rainbow roll. He said the masago nigiri was very tasty. The restaurant closes at 8:30, however, they close the kitchen at 8:00. They ask for last orders at 7:45. The food came out pretty quick and was all fresh. This was our first time visiting this establishment. We both agreed that this place is 4. It was decently priced. We chose this place on a whim and were satisfied with our decision. It's a small restaurant with close seating. So if you're looking for something romantic this probably isn't it. We were staying in a hotel in the same complex near this restaurant and it's just a few minutes walk, so we decide to give it a go! This is a small place in a strip mall and we were hopeful it would have decent food for the price. There are two separate menus and they have quite a few options from apps, rolls, soup/ salad, to noodles & specialty items plus, they also offer an "All you can eat" sushi promo too! We sat at the bar. We noticed our server was the only one on the main floor and he was busy with many patrons and working hard. Started off well with drink orders & then we placed our main meal items. I had requested fresh Kizami and there was much confusion with this, but it was resolved and I was charged extra ( which was fine). Got their Joy Salad which was presented beautifully and was fresh, crisp and delicious. Dressing made it! Had the fried veggie tempura which again the sauce was very good. Went with their Godzilla that has spicy salmon, soft shell crab, and avocado. It was ok. The rice was rolled extremely tightly and it was very dense which took away from the quality/value & flavor combinations within the roll. Presentation was nicer than the taste. Our server was managing many tasks & felt he was attentive under the circumstances. The open kitchen concept could be more appealing (updated in every way) and the staff behind the food prep counter could be a little more enthusiastic and maybe engaging with customers instead of having their heads down and only having interaction with one another. A cleaner environment BOTH with personal appearance and that of a clean food prep area. The outer perimeter with the decorations could use a good dusting & wiping away the cobwebs. I didn't catch their wall sign until we were leaving. This was blatantly bold- asking patrons to provide a 5 Star review on any social media platform & receive a free mochi. Not sure how that even works, but this is not appropriate or allowed on Yelp in any form or fashion to request a particular top notch score for a free product. Buying reviews goes against their rules & community guidelines. This is not a place we would return and just not up to the standards of what we are accustom to in our area. read more

This place has a decent AYCE sushi menu. It's slightly more expensive than sushi katsu, but the taste is comparable if not slightly better. Service is usually quick, and we didn't have to wait too long for our orders. The lighting inside is dark, but this is a solid lunch option overall. I'll probably go to this over sushi katsu since it's closer. Not much else to say besides it being the standard AYCE sushi. read more

I am not too big on all you can eat sushi places. We ordered from their other menu to make things a bit simpler. The nigiri pieces were smaller than other sushi places. They reminded me of their all you can eat nigiri unfortunately. But we went for the rolls - they had a couple of unique rolls, like their Joy Roll and Volcano Roll which did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately when we entered. It seemed like both servers handled all the tables. It did work, we were always taken care of there. OMG. I died and went to sushi heaven. When my husband had himself a guy's night out, I knew just the way to celebrate alone time - SUSHI!! I've been eyeing this spot since we moved to the area in 2017 and decided to try it out. Let's just say, there is SO much to love about this spot. Here goes: 1) Located in a strip mall just south of Sam's Club, the restaurant is easy to spot, offers ample parking and spots to wait outside if needed. Close to home too! 2) Although small and unassuming from the outside, the space itself is quite large, offering all kinds of seating and a bird's eye view of the chefs at work. I will admit, the space feels DARK with the curtains drawn, which was the case when I stopped in. 3) The ability to dine in, take out or All You Can Eat! I ordered online and opted for takeout - to enjoy with my trash tv - and was ready for me about 10 minutes after I arrived. YAY! 4) The menu is massive, offers a ton of sushi options and a $30 special - with 30 sushi rolls, salad, soup and edamame!! A great deal, if you ask me! So, I chose the latter, along with another deep-fried roll (yumm) and had my happy ass a delicious night! The rolls were good sized, fish tasted fresh and whatever dressing is on the salad, is addictive! 5) Pricing is on point - my massive dinner (which lasted me 2 days) was under $60! Ive eaten an awful lot of sushi and this place was ok. It wasnt the best quality based of the taste. Some peices tasted a little past their prime. The rice wasnt fresh tasting as well. RUN! This place is appealing at first glance--- marketing that it's "all you can eat sushi..." However, they do NOT openly share anything about your kids eating sushi for $15,95. It's in the fine print. You have to study the menu. The first thing I said when I sat down was "hey , I do NOT eat sushi, I'm just here for my son--- you know parents... We do anything for our kids! MY SON who was clearly UNDER 10yo ordering food while I was only ordering a glass of wine . The ethical AND right thing to do as a waiter or waitress is to say "hey by the way, we have this all you can eat KIDS option"--- which is HALF PRICE.... instead of letting me order everything that my son wanted ONE BY ONE and then make me pay for it à la cart !!!! The food is reasonably good at their price range. Please see the pictures below for the rating that I ordered. I was in the waiting list for 20-30 minutes but they can seat me in 5 :) I like they make it a smaller size for me to try more things. The service is good and attentive but not too much. Sushi is probably the only food that seems to be the entire food pyramind. Doesn't look like much from the outside since it's located in a strip mall but this is a good spot for sushi if you are in the Lone Tree area and quick service, decent sushi or looking for all you can eat. Plenty of parking. Staff is sweet and efficient. Lunch times can get busy but you can easily snag a table. The lunch buffet seems popular so we tried it and it certainly is worth the price being under $20. Decent selection of apps, nigiri, sushi rolls and some of the specialty rolls. Smaller portions, so order accordingly to your appetite, but all items were fresh. However, I will warn you, there is a charge for leftovers. EAT IT ALL including the rice apparently. I wasn't made aware until our server noticed my tower of rice from the nigiri rolls. We didn't realize there was a separate menu for sashimi. Overall this is family friendly, buffet people friendly, and sushi lover friendly. read more

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday. Very Covid compliant- masks required & spaced out tables. For lunch they offer an all you can eat sushi menu ($15.95) which, I selected to do. They suggest you order as you go because, if you have sushi left over (even non eaten nigiri rice, you will be charged $2.50 per piece). Except for the rolls, everything is single pieces--great way to try something new. The portions are on the smaller side which is good to make sure you're enjoying and not waisting. Ordered the $1 sushi dinner deal (4:30-8:30pm). While the eel and yellowtail nigiri were quite flavorful, the rice fell apart immediately. I essentially ate the seafood (which was delicious). Also, while walking in to pick up my order, four of the staff members kept motioning for someone else to greet me as they were scrolling on their phones - didn't leave the friendliest or professional impression, but the food made up for it. Skip this place! We used to frequent Joy Sushi but no more! The service is absolutely horrible - customer service does not exist. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you in the door. They constantly remind you how much time you have to order food before the kitchen closes even when it's an hour and a half before closing. We watched this happen to everyone who came in. We were also asked if it was okay if they reused an empty plate that we had at our table - absolutely disgusting! One more thing, the seat cushions are falling apart so if you decide to brave this place, I'd suggest wearing long pants. read more

This sushi restaurant has been one of the best sushi I have tasted in a while in this metro area! They offer both AYCE sushi and A La Carte. They also offer a small happy hour menu daily from 4:30-6:30PM. My favorite is their dragon roll and salmon roll. The salmon tasted very fresh, it was buttery and kind melts in your mouth. If neither of these rolls sounds like your thing, they have a large variety of sushi rolls on their menu, from sashimi to tempura rolls. Feeling for a drink?
