Our 5 yo daughter hurt her hand so we went to the closest ER. We were greeted immediately, a nurse came out and triaged her right away, and we were roomed. The staff were all so wonderful, even bringing stickers to help soothe a tired and scared little girl. The doctor saw us right away, did a great job examining and interacting with her in the midst of her pain and then thoroughly explained what the course of treatment should be. Upon leaving, all of the staff thanked us and said goodbye. They were incredibly professional, polite and caring. As healthcare professionals, my husband and I were very highly impressed by this visit and the staff! Many thanks to our nurse, Missy, and Dr. Fisher for treating our little girl so well!

The reason my review has been raised is because both times I was in this ER it was a 100% better than it has EVER been in the almost 30 years that I have lived here. Not sure if they're making changes or if both times I caught them at a good time but I'd really like to believe the first. Both times I didn't have to wait hours upon hours. I got in right away. Both Dr's that saw me were knowledgeable and efficient. Their bedside manner was great and they were so great at explaining what they were doing and why. I was in and out and my nerves were eased right away. I only raised it to 3 stars because of the later incidences happening but I sure hope this trend keeps up at our ER because when people go to the ER they are scared or nervous enough without having to add all this other to the list. Absolutely horrible ER! The worst I have ever seen! My son tonight came in from work and took a hot shower. He has had a huge knot on his shoulder blade for 3 days. Tonight when he tried standing up he felt something like paper ripping in his back and he could barely stand after that. We sat in the ER for almost 3 hours before we decided to just get up and leave! During this time 2 other people also got up and left. During this time we saw 2 nurses actually leave to either go home or go on break! Every time the doors opened the nurses were either sitting down or standing around!!!! Really ? You got people in severe pain and sick and you have nothing better to do? This isn't the first time with this hospital doing this. About 9 months ago my son had a huge stomach virus and fever and had filled up 3 of those bags and he got there on a Saturday morning at 8am and didn't get back till 4pm!!! This is uncalled for! There's was a old lady who had even been waiting longer!!!! This ER needs to be shut down!!! Incompetent staff and just completely uncalled for! Admin will be getting a call! On another note when I walked in there was pornagraphic stuff (explicit) sex on the tv and the dad of the little was trying to hide her eyes! The mom was finally able to get the to tv changed. Also, the heater was on the bottom

It was pushed fast and I had a severe panic attack. I left with no surgery. In the meantime, the infection in my sinus became severe enough that i was sent to OU ER and to my PCP to get a higher level of care. Surgery was rescheduled for April 29, 2026. Although i was not given Reglan this time, my care at DRH was still concerning. My husband was told he would get text messages throughout the surgery. We verified with 2 people that the correct number was on file. He never got one text, he reported it to the volunteers and was still never given updates. The volunteer kept telling he would get a text but made no effort to find out why surgery was taking so long or how i was. Surgery was 4 hours long. After surgery he was not given any information about how my surgery went. It was not until 2 days later when I was able to log into the patient portal, that i was able to see Dr notes that explained everything. Then on May 15 I sent a message to patient relations with my concerns and was told i would receive a letter in the mail. I did so about a week later telling me that they in fact did send several texts. case closed. So I sent another email to patient relations explaining that something is faulty with the system because he did NOT get a text and that i'm also upset the the complaint about how the medicine was administered incorrectly, was not even addressed in the letter. That was 2 weeks ago and I have not received any response. So now my complaint is about Patient relations, it should be renamed as hospital relations, as it is only defending the hospital and not advocating for the patient.

I witnessed an elderly doctor literally slit the throat of a patient while trying to put a catheter in his chest, the male techs would drink liquor during work hours with the Radiology physician, a urologist came into the work room & grabbed my breasts. I quit exactly 1 year & because I left an hour before my shift was over the Personnel Dir said I couldn't get my vacation pay. Unethical, unprofessional, rude, crude & socially unacceptable personnel in ALL areas of this hospital. There's plenty of crude words that would better describe the culture there but I won't stoop to their level of everyday vocabulary. Don't work there or seek services there! I cannot say enough about this team. To have to experience a situation like this is horrific in its own but to have such a caring, empathetic and knowledgeable team there ready and willing at all times really helped us get through this and that was just tremendous. It didn't matter how many times Lilly or Karen were called to the room or the time of night or day both of these ladies were ready and there with a sing song in their voice each and every time!!! Shout out to Blake in Anesthesiology!!

Expedient and decent care. however, based on the findings I was admitted to Norman Regional Health plex. That's where the one star comes in. This is an awful hospital. at least for admissions. I was expediently processed, but then huge let down. my arm wasn't really functional at all. they completely ignored and, ever so visible, did not even pay attention to it. Spent two days, pretty much doing nothing except testing basic vitals (bp, heart rate, oxy). kept doing stroke test even though it came back negative. ignored my blatant arm being all but paralyzed. no Cervical spinal CT. Now, by another hospital, diagnosed it as Peripheral Radial Palsy and Contracture of my upper arm and permanent damage follows if not treated. NRH said take Ibuprofen. Now let me get to unprofessionalism and care to patients. patients go ignored frequently. Most people don't want to wait 4 hours being seen. secondly, the staff gossip about other patients and other staff regularly. this creates an uncomfortable environment for both patients especially, and even staff members. awful 100%

I have used a walk-in clinic in Moore. I like Norman Regional Healthcare as what they will charge…read moreis the same no matter which insurance I use for most of the care. There are 4 issues I am facing after using this service. 1) I have found some incorrect notes on my record from the physician I met. 2) I received a reference that do not fit my heath care needs. 3) The yelp review I previously wrote about this business is somehow missing. 4) I keep receiving marketing phone calls from Oklahoma and Moore now. I can request to amend incorrect notes, and I can look for a healthcare facility that would fit on my healthcare needs. Unfortunately, I realized that I have a trouble of understanding Spanish and Spanish influenced English, which is completely new to me. It is nothing wrong with Spanish English. It is just my English teachers have been Non-Spanish speakers. The care facility on my reference seems like more focused on Spanish speakers and those within Spanish / Hispanic culture (I thought I picked a physician who speaks English only). Bye the way, I was expecting to see more of French speakers instead, when it says Norman. Now, if the review I left disappears, it makes harder for me to remember how to use this facility. What I like and do not like this about this facility, and which service I should use. These information are useful for future reference, including if I accept job offers nearby businesses or not. I am also quite surprised on the phone calls everyday I receive from nearby Moore area, just because I used a service in Moore. These phone calls are mainly about MEDICARE. I totally understand some media says US is lacking funds for MEDICARE now. But, why do they call to foreign seasonal workers who are not sure where they will get retired. I am sure many of Americans are wealthy enough not to work on the infrastructure they use now. That is a great thing. But, keep targeting on foreign seasonal workers that work on your local infrastructure do not improve its condition either.
