Went here in between tastings. On Sundays, they serve the menu from the Sunset breakfast place next door which was fine. My friend was able to modify his burger as needed, I had the fish and chips, and my wife had the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was sensational. The fish and chips were also amazing. Every one of us finished our plates. Highly recommend as a stop!

Great breakfast spot in Napa. I came here after the marathon and it was exactly what I needed! They have a great variety of breakfast food items and lunch items. Looking for something easily digestible, I went for the oatmeal. It was far from boring- comforting and filling. Staff was so kind and attentive.

Happy hour menu

Nice locals bar and restaurant with great selection of Tequila's, Whisky's and cocktails are Stella mastered by Eddie, a seasoned master of mixology. The food doesn't disappoint either. Come with your friends or significant other, you won't be disappointed by friendly staff and inviting atmosphere.

I loved the service since I got here it was a great welcoming for my first time. I came for happy hour and to take advantage of taco Tuesday. I had Carne asada tacos and their Baja fish, I wasn't so impressed with the asada tacos but the fish tacos were amazing! Must try and the margaritas were awesome too.

Chicken tinga empanadas

North Bar & Grill is a great locals' hangout spot. It shares a kitchen with the ever-popular Sunshine Cafe next door, so you know the food is going to be great. Try to stop by for happy hour, when you'll get great deals like $5 draft beer, $5 chips and guacamole and $8 street tacos. Side tip: The North Coast Belgium Amber is high ABV and delicious. My husband got the tri tip sandwich, which was massive. The fries that came with it were really good. Textured and nicely crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the chicken empanadas, which were listed under the small plates section. It's very flavorful. I would have preferred maybe a baked empanada over fried because it got a little oily, but it was still good! A fellow diner recommended that we try the BBQ ribs next time. He said they're "hands down," the best in town. We'll take his word for it and try the ribs next time!

Half shell oysters!

We found this place from a random search from Yelp and based on 5 star reviews, we decided to stop here after our napa/wineries day! The place looks very nondescript from outside but charming decor inside and it was quite busy at 5pm on a sunny Tuesday! The bartender was great and very knowledgeable about various wines so we took her recommendation and tried the house cabrenet, which was good! We tried a few of the food options as they are a tapas type restaurant! I think this is where they missed the mark with me! Half shell oysters! while the oysters were fresh, the lack of standard sides such as horseradish, cocktail sauce, vinegar or lemon wedges was disappointing! The orange slices added a sweet touch! I love olives so tried the warm trio of olives and they tasted like they were microwaved as the skin was wilted which made for a very poor taste! Lastly, the fish tacos were absolutely flavorless and we couldn't even finish them and frankly Rubio's makes better tacos then this place

Oyster Rockefeller

This was my first outing in Napa. I was immediately greeted by Lori who was making sure I got my happy hour order in. I have never tried oyster Rockefeller but I would come back for more. I went on Wing Wednesday and 2 dollar oysters. I was getting great deals. Beautiful for a Bar. Drinks were made in a timely order. The crowd this evening was friendly too. Looking forward to Friday night karaoke.

I had a Friday afternoon to kill a little time and decided to try North Bar & Grill's Happy Hour. North Bar is located in a little shopping center with CVS. I guess I arrived at prime happy hour because the place was packed. Fortunately I found a seat near the door. Shortly afterwards someone came over to take my order. I wanted to try something off the Happy Hour menu and went with the Sliders & Pint for $12. Beer came out pretty quickly and sliders shortly after. Beer was nice and cold and hit the spot. Sliders were literally bite size small but flavorful. Since I wasn't ravenous it was enough to top me off till dinner. North Bar is a nice neighborhood bar. I'll be back when I can spend more time and try more of the menu.

Bacon and bleu burger

Stopped here for dinner and was not disappointed. The bacon and bleu burger was delicious and decently priced. The atmosphere was fun and had an overall great experience.

My husband and I decided to try this place on a Friday night. It was crowded around 7:30pm but lucky enough some folks left and we snag a bar table inside. The place is not very big and they also have outside seating. If you are a fan of comics, a trip to the bathroom is A MUST. We ordered a few small plates... brussel sprouts, chicken meatballs, gambas and oysters. All was very delicious except that the oysters were Ok. I won't get it again next time. Also the gambas while only 3 shrimps were very big and the added polenta is tasty. Overall we had a great time and service is fantastic. If you don't want to pay dowtown napa prices, this is your spot. We will be back to try their dinner menu next time.

Burger, fries, and a gin and tonic! What could be better??

What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.

We saw the sign in front of the building which said they had award winning sandwiches, so we thought we'd give it a try. We entered and found our way to the deli counter where we were greeted by a sandwich maker. Once we made our choice--ham and turkey with provolone on crusty white sourdough bread with mayo, pickles, lettuce and tomato, we waited for the assembly. While waiting we pondered grabbing a pasta salad from the tasty looking assortment on the shelf to accompany our sandwich but in the end opted for a container of local California strawberries, and chips (plain for the hubs and oil and vinegar for yours truly). While at the register the friendly cashier suggested a Mexican marzipan style cookie, which we readily agreed to. Lunch was delicious later as we sat on a park bench by a peaceful pond in the middle of Jack London state park. My husband particularly enjoyed the bread. We'd recommend the market to anyone in need of a delicious sandwich and we'll be back next time we're in Sonoma. They also had a plenteous supply of groceries.
