Cynthia is a real b!t*h. I come to Billco's all the time and whenever she's the bartender on duty, she treats me so badly that it makes me want to leave. I love this place. She ruins it for me and numerous others have said the same. She should not have a job here. Period. I've talked to numerous people in the bar and they all say the same thing about her. She's rude to everybody for no reason. A friend of mine said that she's a pretty bad alcoholic which would explain the unnecessary rudeness to customers. People like her shouldn't have a job working in a customer service atmosphere. read more

We stopped by Bilco's because it was raining heavily outside. The regulars are friendly and helpful. I imagine if you showed up often, then people will start to recognize you. A kind gentleman who was a customer handed us a piece of chalk for polishing the pool sticks. I came for the pool tables, but didn't order any drinks. There are several pool tables, so you don't need to share with anyone. The price per hour to have the pool balls is a fair $8. You are charged once you turn in your pool balls you checked out. So if you spent less than an hour, then you'll be charged less than the full rate. read more

Nice dive-y kinda place. Ovb billiards and darts. Everyone is super friendly, bartender quick and hospitable , even though the place was busy and she was the only one serving. We ordered brisket, it was the special and it was really good! A local told me this guy cooks a special every Fri. It was pretty noisy but I didnt mind. read more

We grabbed lunch from a few blocks away and Antonia was nice enough to let us eat inside with our beers since the kitchen hadn't opened just yet. Great selection on tap of beers to choose from and many pool tables, darts and windows to bring in light. She changed the TV channel to the football game we wanted to watch and we were able to enjoy our beers and lunch while watching the game. I had a mango beer that was light and refreshing while my date had a Canadian beer. I can't wait to stop in again to play some pool or darts. The perks of this place... the venue is spacious, lots of beer options, plenty of pool tables and dart boards, TV's, casual and friendly atmosphere with some quirky decor, not too crowded and open late on a Saturday night, no cover, and apparently they do events on certain nights of the week. The not so great... if you're looking for drinks other than beer, this is not the best spot, they have cheap wine which they upsell (but I know my wine, so I know it's cheap), the music is not the best, the address is misleading and will lead you to a locked door that instructs you to use the "other" entrance. The other entrance is off the parking lot on 2nd Street. Also the service isn't the best, the bartenders aren't the friendliest and aren't very quick to serve you even for a not-so-busy night. read more

The bar tender here tonight is absolutely the rudest ungrateful wretch I have ever encountered anywhere ever. We came in my husband asked for a beer they don't have no big deal but she acted as though he was a complete idiot. I'm not drinking she referred me to end of bar for water which is completely fine but her tone look on her face an attitude tells me she would like to be fired. I think her boss should make her dreams come true no one here tonight seems happy all here seem totally offended. Been here many other times it was fine . I've come here a couple of times and it was a good time. The vibe here at Billco's is very chill. There are pool tables, tv's && they even have karaoke nights! I recently came here for the Knee Deep pint night and it was a good time. Everyone around seemed to be enjoying themselves. The staff is friendly as well which makes the experience even better. I'd definitely recommend coming here to grab a beer after maybe some local shopping near by or just because you're in the mood to grab a drink. I will be returning very soon. With Napa becoming more and more "wine girl" like and catering to a very specific person Bilcos emerges as the dark horse winner. This place is the prime example of locally owned and operated. I have worked in restaurant industry for years and I cant say enough positive things about Bilcos. Food and Drink: Granted they don't have a full bar, but they have so many options and the bartenders will work with you to help you find a drink you like. Just ask for something yummy like the "Unicorn Porn". I don't drink beer but I always have some delicious drink here. The food is also super tasty and made with such warmth and kindness. Pool and Darts: I have never ever waited for a table. Sometimes I get nervous with darts when people walk by but its part of the fun. There is always a great game going on which allows for lots of folks to find fun. Service and Community: This is where this bar stands tall above other establishments. The bartenders are local people and they cultivate relationships. I worked an event with a former bartneder and all night she was seeing people who missed her. She held all these peoples stories, their lives and memories. It was amazing the amount of insitituioinal knowledge the bartenders hold. They also hire people who go there, becuase they like them and who better to work at a bar than the people who think its great. If I have ever had an issue it was always handled so well. They do community events like toys for tots and are actually invested in the downtown space. In Closing: Go here, play a game, or not. Horrendous service from the female bartender working the Monday night shift. In the industry Monday is one of the worst shifts and usually given to the least experienced so perhaps this explains the sub par service. I wouldn't suggest spending your money in this establishment, there are many other places to go that are much more hospitable. read more

I came with a group of friends ( 4 girl friends and one guy freind). We cut the line and let all the girl friends in and banned the guys for cutting. Be aware if you want to have a good vibe. We were walking by with some time to kill before heading home from Napa and decided to check out their darts. It's $5 to rent darts and you can play for as long as you want. Theres plenty of tables on the wall. There's plenty of professional size pool tables They have literally every type of beer you can think of on tap, there we're at least 50 types, something for everyone! This review is from a darts perspective only. This is not a reflection of food/drink/ or items (which are quite good here). See below for tier explanation of a five star dart facility I would give this to our facility and overall grade of 3 1/2 stars. They have seven separate boards utilizing blade four and blade five. The boards are in good quality but not brand new. They have adequate lighting for the boards. The oche on the main section of boards happens to be in a pathway that often gets a lot of traffic from people passing by. It can interrupt the game somewhat. It's definitely a facility that is dedicated towards darts as you can buy shafts and flights at the bar. My conclusion would be that this is a very good dark bar, worthy of traveling to if you are in Napa Valley for winetasting. They have an outstanding selection of beers and siders. Great TVs and a variety of sports. This would be a great place for a fairly large tournament. I could see with a slight dedication in some lighting upgrades moving this to 04 stars. Three stars would be a disservice. It's actually a great place. Hence, 3 1/2 stars Five star would be a dedicated facility with the highest quality boards and scoring. That usually is reserved for facilities like flight club in Chicago or Europe. There's also a new bar in Miami that opened up I would qualify as five star Four-star is top-quality lighting and boards with a dedicated dart facility Three star would be a dedicated dart facility with adequate/needs improvement in boards and lighting Two star would be A semi dedicated location for darts with inferior equipment One star A board is present with access limited read more

I have been coming to billcos for around 6 years. I'm originally from Los Angeles and when I would stay to live in Napa or come to visit I would always come here for the good selection of beer and entertainment. I've brought all my family and friends from LA when we come and visit and of course family and friends in the Napa and American Canyon area. Sadly we went this past Saturday 20th in the afternoon and happy to see they just had reopened I took my husband to get a 6 pack of make your own beer. Usually they would let us go to the back and pick from their selection of beers. The lady that attended my husband explained that they could no longer let customers to the back. The problem is my husband talk to her in English and the lady kept trying to talk to him in Spanish and would giggle with other customers that seemed to be her friends. She gave my husband a menu that only showed about 5 beers that we could choose from but my husband feeling uncomfortable how the lady continued to try her horrible patronizing spanish my husband said no thank you. Over hearing her tell the other customers that there was more selection from the 5 she showed my husband. I'm extremely disappointed because never have I had a problem with that type of service! I hope that my fellow latinos read this and avoid this place all together. read more

+1 star for good draft selection. Came for a short practice session. It took 20 minutes to get the bartender's attention. Said there were no tables available and I had to catch someone finishing because they wouldn't manage a wait list. Got one and practiced until someone picking up glasses kept interrupting my massé shots. "If the chalk gets on the felt that's on you." Whatever that means. Napa's dive bar. While the Napa Valley has plenty of upscale spots, Billco's is very much old school. They have over 60 beers on tap, plenty of fried food, friendly bartenders, pool tables- think of "Roadhouse" with the late Patrick Swayze. It's that kind of spot. One can get Russian River Brewing Company's Pliny the Younger on tap from here without having to brave the parking (and long lines) in downtown Santa Rosa. Their back patio has the view of a parking lot, the nearby ACE Hardware, and the shattered historic Napa post office. It's not picturesque, but it's not the point. The food is OK. They make good burgers, fries, beer-battered fish&chips (beer is their specialty) While Downtown Joe's has a more expansive menu, Billco's is all about the brews. It's an OK spot for socializing.
