Cynthia. The rudest bartender in California.

Cynthia is a real b!t*h. I come to Billco's all the time and whenever she's the bartender on duty, she treats me so badly that it makes me want to leave. I love this place. She ruins it for me and numerous others have said the same. She should not have a job here. Period. I've talked to numerous people in the bar and they all say the same thing about her. She's rude to everybody for no reason. A friend of mine said that she's a pretty bad alcoholic which would explain the unnecessary rudeness to customers. People like her shouldn't have a job working in a customer service atmosphere.

We grabbed lunch from a few blocks away and Antonia was nice enough to let us eat inside with our beers since the kitchen hadn't opened just yet. Great selection on tap of beers to choose from and many pool tables, darts and windows to bring in light. She changed the TV channel to the football game we wanted to watch and we were able to enjoy our beers and lunch while watching the game. I had a mango beer that was light and refreshing while my date had a Canadian beer. I can't wait to stop in again to play some pool or darts. Her black dog, a Great Dane who was the size of a small horse at 140#, was very sweet and mellow.

The perks of this place... the venue is spacious, lots of beer options, plenty of pool tables and dart boards, TV's, casual and friendly atmosphere with some quirky decor, not too crowded and open late on a Saturday night, no cover, and apparently they do events on certain nights of the week. The not so great... if you're looking for drinks other than beer, this is not the best spot, they have cheap wine which they upsell (but I know my wine, so I know it's cheap), the music is not the best, the address is misleading and will lead you to a locked door that instructs you to use the "other" entrance. The other entrance is off the parking lot on 2nd Street. Also the service isn't the best, the bartenders aren't the friendliest and aren't very quick to serve you even for a not-so-busy night.

Great beer selection! Probably one of the best I have seen at a bar. Owners know their beer! Great time.

Billco's is a great hangout. One of the few very affordable places to go downtown for great entertainment and drinks.

Food ordered: Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich: classic & simple. Was piping hot when we got it and so good Drinks ordered: Bee's Knees Matcha (8/10): I love a blueberry cold foam and loved how it was honey matcha. I will say the matcha is definitely on the milky side but I didn't mind as I enjoyed the overall taste of everything Coffee Flight (10/10): the #1 thing I wanted to try on their menu ever since I saw it. The flavors included were Hazy Dayz, Earth's Revival, Lotus and Enter Sandman. I liked Hazy Dayz and Lotus the most, but everything overall was yummy. They also ask you your milk preference, hot or cold and if you want whipped cream or not. We opted for no whipped cream and I think that was perfect since the drinks were already pretty sweet. Cup of Joe: we ordered 2 cups of this at different times but the first time they asked if we wanted dark or medium roast (we picked medium) but the second time they didn't ask so not sure what the second cup was.

I enjoy their seasonal lattes and to this day still gravitate to Earth's Revival if nothing else catches my eye. Today I had the chorizo and egg breakfast sandwich... very good! I may not be a plain coffee expert- but specialty coffees- this is a solid go to!

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. For $24 the portion you get is perfect and along with a good pint of beer this is the way to go. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

Food is amazing and the ambiance has that local feel that makes this place special. Get the wings. Can't go wrong with them. Love the crispyness and meatiness of the wings. My go to is the killer prime rib with a side of Au Jus. So freaking good. They have good selection of beers on tap and cocktails are good quality and strong. They even adjusted one for my wife who was worried it would be to sweet. Very accommodating. Loved sitting outside in their huge sitting area. Must not let years pass before returning.

We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, onion rings, and an order of fish and chips, alongside two flavored lemonades. Chicken was unremarkable--unseasoned, not marinated; unfortunately a bland and slightly tough piece of chicken. Came on a nice brioche bun with the caramelized onions being the best part of the dish (and meal). Our fish and onion rings were overly greasy. The fries were tasty and seemed fresh but unsalted and wilted beneath the fish and could have been crispier. My partner thought the sweet flavored lemonades were from a mix and there was no pulp. No pics. Seems the de rigueur order here is chicken wings, which we don't order. Would be a great place to hang with friends for drinks and conviviality; very casual vibe. But foodwise, our experience was very middle-of-the-road.
