She went out of her way to get me help quickly. Along came Adam, one of Hansel Ford's mobile mechanics. He was great! He had to jump start my car just to get the hatch door open but even on a cold wet afternoon he was cheerful and friendly and he got the job done efficiently and professionally. Hats off to Hansel Ford for exemplary service. I am very grateful for their help today.

After having my truck for two weeks, they replaced two parts that did not fix the warning issue and ignored the visibly damaged components I specifically pointed out. They later told me the truck had a "transmission noise" and scheduled another appointment--only to later admit that the technician was wrong and that "it's just how Mavericks sound." Even after that, they still never checked under the damaged splash guard, something I had asked them to do four separate times. It took multiple attempts to reach the service manager, and several calls before he finally picked up. There was no apology or explanation for why the requested repairs weren't completed. When I went to pick up my vehicle, it took over 30 minutes just to get JJ to the counter so I could request the refund he had promised on the phone. He claimed it couldn't be processed immediately because it had to go through accounting--but minutes after I left, another staff member (Calli) processed it without issue. Clearly, he wasn't being truthful. Very poor service overall, from communication to follow-through. I'll be taking my business to another dealership.

This is especially frustrating because I have a prepaid service plan through November 2027 that I purchased with my truck. Despite that, I will never return to this dealership. To make matters worse, the Toyota dealership in Santa Rosa hit my truck while it was in for service. Two different dealerships, same lack of professionalism and accountability. I was only asking if they would so I could decide whether I wanted to used them again or start fresh with someone else. I get here, go in expecting I'll have to entertain myself and keep my dog cool for a few hours close by and the guy behind the counter goes May I help you? I'm all Hi I have a 1 o'clock appointment for an oil change. He looks at me as if the wall behind me suddenly grew a big fat set of lips and said it. First response was we don't make appointments. Then he says Are you sure you have the right shop? I showed him the numbers I called and he says We only have one number and I'm the only one that answers. Hmmm yea so I dial the first # and it rings the phone in front of him. He says we'll that's us.....who did you talk to? Dude, you if your the only one answering. He says he never spoke to anyone about an appointment and besides they are booked 4 days out. Wait...what? But you sa.....ok whatever. So I call the 2nd # and Lo!! Behold the phone on the other counter rings. He looked at it with an "Well shucks by golly will you look at that!" expression. A little more denial&questioning and it felt like when the hands raised palm up on either side of that Alfred E. Newman look, it was a foregone conclusion. My last auto repair shop did fine work on my car for the past 4 years, but provided poor customer…read moreservice as evidenced by the woman in the office who refused to ask the mechanic my questions while I was stranded just 10 minutes away from their shop. I called 3 times throughout the day to no avail! From the moment I called Northbay (on PB South-not the shop with poor reviews) and spoke with Ryan, I got better customer service than I had expected. He kindly answered my questions, got me on their calendar on the day and time of my choice-not first come first served while never knowing how long the wait would be, like my last auto repair shop. Northbay took care of everything from oil change, filter, complete annual service, including hoses, brakes, brake pads, suspension, inspections and battery test, tire rotation, rodent repellent device purchase and installation, purchased and replaced the rubber cowl guard that rats destroyed, smog test and certificate. My last auto shop sent me to a crowded, smoke filled run down place with no seating for a smog check. Ryan also gave me a 15% good customer discount on the labor even though I hadn't been there before. I believe the cost was equal to the extensive professional service they provided. When I brought my car in, one of the guys even gave me a ride home on his way to pick up something (5-10 minutes) because my husband was out of town. When Ryan called the next day to say my car was ready, my husband had just returned and dropped me off just minutes before closing, though Ryan had offered to send an Uber to my home in case I needed a ride. When I received a request to rate them, I gave them 5 x 5 stars which was well deserved. I've already recommended them and will continue to do so.
