Very dissapointing...When I first came for my fitting I was confident that this place would help me. They only had one bra that would fit and the size prosthetic I needed wasn't in stock. I was assured by Yolanda that they would order me a couple more bras and the right size prosthetic. It took about 4 weeks to get everything in. They called me to tell me my product was in and that they would ship it to me for free. I thought that was a great thing because of my work schedule I could never make it over there. It's about 2 weeks since Yolanda said that she would ship it and I have not received anything in the mail. Imagine, you've gone through one of the hardest things of your life (breast cancer) only to be screwed by the one thing that makes me feel like a confident female. Now, Yolanda won't be back for a few weeks and no one else can help me with my order as I was told "she is the only one that deals with the breast prosthetics". read more

I have never written a review on a place who I didn't even use, except to say, I was instructed by my doctor to call them to set up an appt. I talked to "Adriana" and have NEVER been treated so RUDELY by ANYONE in my life. Not only would she not allow me to explain my reason for calling, she COVERED up any comments I was trying to say. At one point when TOLD I had to have a PRESCRIPTION I continued to TRY to tell her that my doctor inasmuch as said he already issued one via FAX. She wouldn't let me get THAT in and continued to say "When you SAW him did he say you NEEDED the device?" I continued to say I didn't SEE him and then she curtly said, "... well, he needs to diagnose your problem..." and I continued to say he knows ALL about my problem and I was just following his orders to call for an appointment. She must have said this 4 different times and likewise, 4 different times I tried to intercede and mention that indeed I DID have a prescription which I believe he sent over, already. I mentioned that perhaps I should call back when I check on the situation and she didn't even say OK or BYE and literally HUNG UP on me! I called back and asked why she flat out HUNG UP on me...to wit she said, "Oh, you said you were calling back." This "chic" (I hate to use that word, but it's the only one that fits) needs people/phone skills. The front desk person should and does act as the ambassador for the practice and because of her awful attitude, I have taken my business elsewhere and mentioned to my doctor my awful experience(s) with this place. read more

My husband has been using a prosthetic leg for almost 50 years. He has gone to many prosthetic shops over the years and this is the greatest one yet. Been going here for a few years now and have always had a great experience. The front staff is always very friendly and the prosthetists are always doing everything possible to make sure he has the best fitting prosthetic and the supplies needed. read more

Northbay prosthetics and orthotics in Vacaville has been very helpful and accommodating with the orthotics that I needed done. I have never been withheld any services or denied any equipment or item I needed. I only had to wait to pick up my items because of my insurance purposes. Every appointment that I've made they make sure that I am satisfied before I leave the office. Fabulous service at the Vacaville location! Jason takes the time to read physician instructions and listen to client input and produces a superior product every time. Orthotics are produced in a timely manner and usually fit perfectly, with the occasional "tweek" by Jason if necessary. Products are all well made and durable. Do NOT go to this business! Our son needed orthotics and a month after his visit at the Vacaville location, he has yet to receive them. He was told they would be ready in two weeks. We contacted them twice to get updates on the order and always received a lame excuse. This business is a disappointment. Please don't waste your valuable time and money like we did. Northbay prosthetics, Fairfield ca location I RECOMMEND every one AGAINST giving your business to this location and their business in general (other locations in Vacaville, NAPA, Roseville and Sacramento to say the least). AVOID THEM, period. Front office/ reception clerks- Jojo, Adrianna and Arlene- They all deals with their clients in rude manner, are abrupt, & lack simple common sense. They, lack of essentially qualified skills such as-phone skills, public relation skills and communication skills yet are in front line of this business. They cut clients off without "active listening" but displays abrupt, immature, tantrum child like behavior. Client's concerns/ requests are misrepresented in bizarre twisted version t their employers (Kyle Eckhart and Mike Bright). This team is worst ever I have ever encountered in my life. They aren't worth and opinion. Owner Kyle- lacks professionalism with basic common courtesy & renders a unilateral decision without even an attempt hearing clients concerns. Being insured with Kaiser now, I switched over to NBPO from Hanger PO/Fairfield and my level of care improved dramatically and immediately. Business owner Michael B. is highly skilled and very attentive. As an AK amputee I've gone through many P/Os in the last ~3 decades and Mike is the best by far. He and other staff members are very responsive to phone calls & texts and spend as much time as necessary to ensure my concerns are addressed. From my standpoint NBPO has an excellent working relationship with Kaiser which helps things get done quickly. I have had easily a dozen appointments with NBPO and have always had a great experience (to the extent that you can when being fitted for a prosthetic). NBPO has fitted me with my second microprocessor knee and all other necessary components. They provided great care throughout the process and still do.
