I didn't stay at the hotel. Was there for outpatient services and found it on Google maps. It's a buffet and they also will serve you an omellete.. There's no waffle bar contrary to what some have said. Coffee and juice is included. It's $23.00 plus the tip. The buffet includes bacon, sausage, an egg on a english muffin, fresh fruit, salmon carpaccio, breads, croissants, scones, among other choice items. It's quiet, windowy, clean, nicely decorated, with fireplace. Jazz plays over the PA. It has a very 'Chicago' vibe to it. They take credit cards or charge to your room. You don't need to be a guest to dine here. You'll find it a nice place to have breakfast. Open until about 2:30pm

This is a lovely atmosphere as it is within the Intercontinental Hotel. I have been here for both the breakfast buffet as well as lunch buffet. For breakfast, there is a pretty standard spread of General Mills cereals and milk, orange juice, coffee/tea, etc. and a nice make-your-own omelette station (though beware--a line definitely forms here). If you're vegan, your options will pretty much be restricted to fruit and potentially some of the cereals/oats. Lunch has an impressive spread of desserts and a hearty spread of meats dishes and roasted vegetables. Vegans will likely have to order off the menu (their kale salad is actually pretty good!), and sometimes even the vegetable dishes are made with meat products (broth, etc) so vegetarians may find few options, as well. On one occasion, I was there with my family and my salad took ~40 minute to come out, so it was given to me for free and I was allowed to take whatever I wanted from the buffet. In general, though the service (there's a coat check, too) and location are great, I have found the food to be just "OK," hence the 3 stars. It's nothing horrible or bad, but nothing particularly creative or unique. The taste of the food definitely does not align well with the price.

Okay strawberry cheese cake with what i thought was chocolate mousse but turned out to have the texture of uncooked browney batter.

Stopped in today for lunch after 4 long days at the hospital and wanting to get some fresh air. We were sceptical going in because of the mixed reviews. Walked in and we were greeted but not very nicely, decided to try the lunch buffet since it was Mediterranean and we wanted a change from hospital food. The buffet was $22 each so we were expecting more then what there was, there was only one line with a warm section of meat ( pork loin, chicken and a lamb carving station) mixed with that was roasted potatoes and roasted veg. After that was the cold bar with some salads as well as pasta, bean and potato salad. Then was the deserts of strawberry cheese cake, mixed berry strusle, chocolate shot glasses with whipped cream and a cup cake of some sort. The only thing that stood out was the lamb carving station were it was sliced to order and you could get it on warmed naan bread with an assortment of veggies. The rest of the food was jusy okay and would fit well on any much cheaper buffet menu. The only goodish desert was th cheese cake with a nice balance of sweet and fresh with the strawberries. The service was absolutely horrible, showed up at 1pm amd the close at 2:30pm there were only 3 tables that were there not including us and we had to ask for a refill of are water. Needles to say that for the price i would expect much more from the food and much much much more from the service or lack there of. We definitely will not be back and not be recommending this place.

    Nice ambiance

I ordered a Pizza Margherita, and it was dry, cold, and flavorless. I would recommended NO ONE try it. VERY disappointed!

The outside is dated, sure, but step inside and it's immediately clear this place has been doing things right for a reason. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were the right call; rich, well-stuffed, and a strong opening act. The French onion soup, while flavorful, ran a little salty for our taste, so consider yourself warned if that's your go-to dish. The salad was fresh and came out crisp, clean, no complaints. On the steak front, the ribeye and porterhouse are the real stars here. Both were cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and reminded us why we came to a steakhouse in the first place. The food is the draw, and at these prices, the value-to-quality ratio is hard to beat anywhere in the area. And then there's Marissa. Her service alone is worth the trip; attentive, warm, and the kind of server who makes a good meal feel like a great experience. Ask for her section. We'll be back.

You get access to a wide variety of quality food. There are not a lot of buffets in the area these days. By default, this buffet is, therefore, one of the best buffets in the area. It wasn't very busy and we got through the non-member line quickly. We were excorted to a table and then we went to the buffet. The buffet is long, so it's a little walk to get from one end to the other. The food all looked good. We skipped the Mexican and salad sections. There was a tasty looking hamburger buffet, but I skipped that too. The pizza looked good as well, but since my life is full of pizza, I skipped that section as well. Finally, I saw the stuff I like - veggies, pasta, and meat. I didn't get any fried chicken, but I loaded up on pasta and various sauteed veggies like green beans, sweet potatoes, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. When I returned to the table, our drinks still were not delivered, but they arrived within a few minutes. The veggies were delicious, but the brocollini was a little tough. The mashed potatoes were awesome. I loved the veggies. On my second trip, I got some more veggies and mac n cheese. I didn't want to over eat, so I kept it to two plates. On Wednesdays or Thursdays, I will definitely be making a visit to this buffet because it is so much better than some of the other food in the area and in some cases, cheaper. Take for example, two summer rolls, a glass of water, and some noodles and veggies is $24 at a nearby restaurant. While this meal is tasty, it's not a good value. At yet another nearby food stand, I can get a bottle of water, veggies, meat, and noodles with sauce for $7 - a great value. But one can only dine at the same establishment so many times when the menu is limited. I'll be back, Jack!

Located in a shopping plaza on Mentor Blvd. you will find a clean, well organized and well stocked buffet. The decor is modern and fairly generic, seating is comfortable and the restaurant is large with several seating areas. As with most buffets you pay as you enter, prices are somewhat reasonable given the way inflation has gone. Once seated you have your choice of the serving stations. Up first is the salad area which is well stocked and includes fresh fruit, boiled shrimp, mussels and artificial crab salad. The salad station also has plenty of dressing and sauces. There is also a soup station with 3 or 4 soups, unfortunately they do not have shrimp chips which I always think is a bonus. There are several buffet stations of hot foods, mainly Chinese with a small selection of American standards. For me I usually get some rice noodles, lo mein or fried rice and then stock up on the shrimp, clams, mussels and the baked artificial crab. Overall the food is fresh and they do a good job of keeping things stocked. Where Fuji comes up a little short for me is that the flavors are a bit muted; the food is under seasoned for me. I usually to use quite a bit of the spicy oil from the salad bar to add some flavor. The sushi station is ok, they make the sushi fresh, but it is only maki rolls and the selection is about 5 or 6 varieties at lunch. Most of the sushi is made with either the crab sticks or shrimp, no fresh fish. Next to the sushi station is the grill station where you pick the raw ingredients and then have the chef cook them. Obviously this food is cooked fresh, although once again I find the sauces to be a bit under seasoned. Once you are ready for dessert there is a pastry section and a scoop your own ice cream. All of this is sweet and pretty good, but nothing really great. Overall Fuji Buffet provides decent food, there is a good variety and you should be able to fill up as much as you want. For me the flavors could be better, not bad just a bit muted. Of course your mileage may vary.
