Came on a Sunday for Grandma's birthday when the price was $30 for the buffet. Reopened, the buffet is the same as before. Still very good, clean and friendly. I especially like the different salads and the fried chicken, but there are lots of foods, except seafood. The desserts are plentiful, including ice cream. The buffet is also on Friday and Saturday evenings and the price is higher.

It's a good standby restaurant when you're not sure what you want to eat. There are plenty of options to pick from.

The food is good, good assortment. Servers are very friendly. So much better than Golden Corral. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it.

Very nice, affordable, and great service. I'm glad they didn't close down like a lot of other casinos did

Thankfully, the disposable plates were gone and replaced with proper plates once again. The dinner-time sushi was great. A good selection of rolls as well as some nigiri and sashimi. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and being a buffet, I, of course, went for seconds. The cooked seafood options were delicious as well. I liked the frog legs, shrimp, mussels, fried flounder, and calamari. The Chinese-American staples like the egg roll, potstickers, Chinese donuts, and mango chicken were OK. I was a bit disappointed with the lo mein. Not as flavorful as I remembered, though it wasn't bad. In spite of the fact that I was stuffed, I went for dessert. I got a slice of lemon bundt cake. New to me were the tubs of green tea and red bean ice cream, which I was delighted to see. Now $21.99 per person for dinner, which I still consider to be worth it. They do now automatically add a 12% gratuity, which I'm fine with, as I typically tip 20% anyway. The service was friendly, and the staff was quick to clear away my used plates and refill my glass of water.

My first…read moreimpression of the place was that it's so cheap. $13 a person for the all you can eat lunch special is unheard of in Utah. As we were walking to our seats, the host instructed an employee to clean up a mess and threw a paper towel on the floor. I'm not really sure what that was about but it made me feel like we were in the navy. At least I know they keep it clean. As for the food, everything I tried was very solid! The honey chicken was the highlight for sure, but the mushrooms were amazing as well. I wanted really badly to enjoy the hibachi section, but I found that our meat lacked seasoning. A super easy fix, just allow the customers to season their own servings before throwing it on the grill. Other than that, I really can't complain. Oh and the tubs of ice cream you can scoop for yourself were great. If I was a local, I'd be coming here pretty often.

Located in a shopping plaza on Mentor Blvd. you will find a clean, well organized and well stocked buffet. The decor is modern and fairly generic, seating is comfortable and the restaurant is large with several seating areas. As with most buffets you pay as you enter, prices are somewhat reasonable given the way inflation has gone. Once seated you have your choice of the serving stations. Up first is the salad area which is well stocked and includes fresh fruit, boiled shrimp, mussels and artificial crab salad. The salad station also has plenty of dressing and sauces. There is also a soup station with 3 or 4 soups, unfortunately they do not have shrimp chips which I always think is a bonus. There are several buffet stations of hot foods, mainly Chinese with a small selection of American standards. For me I usually get some rice noodles, lo mein or fried rice and then stock up on the shrimp, clams, mussels and the baked artificial crab. Overall the food is fresh and they do a good job of keeping things stocked. Where Fuji comes up a little short for me is that the flavors are a bit muted; the food is under seasoned for me. I usually to use quite a bit of the spicy oil from the salad bar to add some flavor. The sushi station is ok, they make the sushi fresh, but it is only maki rolls and the selection is about 5 or 6 varieties at lunch. Most of the sushi is made with either the crab sticks or shrimp, no fresh fish. Next to the sushi station is the grill station where you pick the raw ingredients and then have the chef cook them. Obviously this food is cooked fresh, although once again I find the sauces to be a bit under seasoned. Once you are ready for dessert there is a pastry section and a scoop your own ice cream. All of this is sweet and pretty good, but nothing really great. Overall Fuji Buffet provides decent food, there is a good variety and you should be able to fill up as much as you want. For me the flavors could be better, not bad just a bit muted. Of course your mileage may vary.

The prime rib was sliced thin and had no red/pink color. The customer side of the buffet had food all over the counter. The cheddar cheese that I put on my salad had a rancid flavor, ruining the whole salad. The beef empenades were delightful and the Asian section was good. There was very little chocolate in the dessert section. They had cherry pie, white cake, chocolate chip cookies (box mix), cheesecake (box mix) cherries jubilee and various ice cream flavors with many toppings, among a few other items. Staff members don't greet you or speak. They motion with their heads and use one or two words to communicate with customers. Golden Coral has higher standards and a better variety.

The outside is dated, sure, but step inside and it's immediately clear this place has been doing things right for a reason. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were the right call; rich, well-stuffed, and a strong opening act. The French onion soup, while flavorful, ran a little salty for our taste, so consider yourself warned if that's your go-to dish. The salad was fresh and came out crisp, clean, no complaints. On the steak front, the ribeye and porterhouse are the real stars here. Both were cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and reminded us why we came to a steakhouse in the first place. The food is the draw, and at these prices, the value-to-quality ratio is hard to beat anywhere in the area. And then there's Marissa. Her service alone is worth the trip; attentive, warm, and the kind of server who makes a good meal feel like a great experience. Ask for her section. We'll be back.
