    This is a continental breakfast

Needs totally renovated! Beds are hard, walls are repaired but not completed with paint so dry wall spackle is showing, bathroom shower doesn't have a light or water pressure, breakfast consisted of half a muffin and cold cereal not thing else, and why your sitting there in they're Lobby having your dry half of a muffin you can see the ceiling tiles are missing molded and falling down!

Stayed here on June 6, 2026…read more The hotel has a few positives. Our room was clean when we arrived, and the breakfast area was spacious with a great view, which made the morning experience enjoyable. However, there were several downsides. The biggest issue was a leaking faucet in the room, which suggests that maintenance could be improved. The room itself was also quite small--just enough space to move around comfortably, with very limited extra room for luggage or other belongings. Overall, the hotel was adequate for a short stay, mainly because of the cleanliness and pleasant breakfast area, but the maintenance issues and cramped room size kept the experience from being more enjoyable.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay. I will never stay at a Best Western ever again…read more  We were not able to check into our hotel room until several hours after our advertised check in time. No communication was made to us prior to arriving at the hotel about our room not being ready. No concessions were made at that time because our booking was done through "www.hotels.com". During our stay our room developed a significant water leak from a ceiling light/fan fixture. This happened very late at night; I called down to the front desk and after waiting for several minutes I received a call back. By this time the water leak from the ceiling had mostly stopped, however we used all our hotel towels mitigating the water leak. The staff offered an adjacent room for us to stay in. However, it was very late at night and we had sleeping children and being that the water leak seemed to have stopped on its own we opted to stay in our room.  When we came back to our room the next day, the water leak was still active.  The hotel had not sent anyone to fix the leak and they had not sent anyone from housekeeping to clean up the huge water mess.  I went and spoke with the front desk staff personally and asked for assistance, however we never received any for the remainder of our stay. We spent the majority of our time out of the room because of this issue. We then had to leave the property several hours earlier than our scheduled check out time due to the bathroom being unusable. It was unusable because of an active water leak and a standing water all over the floor. Again, I called down to the front desk early on the morning of our check out to ask for assistance and they didn't provide any. After telling them that morning what the issues were that we were having, the response from staff was "Ok". The onsite manager was never available, and I was never able to speak to them.  This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I will not be staying a best western ever again.

Stayed here on a Tuesday night during the middle of a long road trip. Place was quiet and eerie. With your window open, you are only accompanied by the lapping of distant waves. That is genuinely it. I probably saw 3 guests the course of my 14 hour stay. Eerie right? The dated decor didn't help either. However, I attest that this lodge is worth the stop. All of the workers were nice, the mattresses were extremely comfy, and the views were beautiful. All components of a great stay. Truthfully maybe this place doesn't deserve five stars. But I am rooting for this establishment. I hope you all enjoy oceanfront lodge as much as I did.

Worst hotel stay I have ever had in my life! First red flag should have been that the website for…read moremaking reservations wasn't working properly so we had to call and reserve our rooms. We requested two rooms next to each other since our teenage children would be in one room and we were in the other. Second red flag was getting a text three days before our stay saying our card was declined yet when we called and verified our reservation and card they said everything was fine and the card went through. We get there and there was no one at the front desk to check us in for ten minutes. When the young person finally showed up they had a guest in tow and they proceeded to say they needed to take care of this customer before us and then put them in a different room than they originally had, weird but ok. She finishes with them and then helps us. Thats when I realize that our two rooms are not actually next to each other in spite of us requesting it a month prior when we made our reservations. We tell her and she gives the whole "well we are booked up so there's nothing I can do". Upon check out we see that we were suppose to have the room next to our kids but she gave that room to the guy before us and then proceeded to put us in a room $100 more than we reserved without telling us. The more expensive room was across from the ice machine and the emergency exit so we had to deal with people getting ice and chatting outside our room door for three days! Twice I was woken up in the middle of the night because loud guests were chatting outside our door by the ice machine. The whole place was dirty and run down. Restaurant was ok but very much heat and serve food. Pool was disgusting and you could see hair and dead skin floating on the top. Hot tub was also gross and had sand all over in it. The elevator started moving when we stepped in before the doors were closed and then we noticed the almost transparent because it was so old goldfish cracker in the ceiling of the elevator. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We wouldn't even go back if someone paid us to! Worst hotel and customer service ever!!!

Our room, 258, was missing some amenities like a luggage rack, no iron or ironing board (if you like to do that), and only provided 2 tiny single serve packets of body wash and conditioning shampoo. I'm grateful that there was also a small bar of soap. The bath in the room didn't work...I mean you couldn't shut the valve and actually take a bath. Water was fine. The room's were reasonably priced for the height of summer. Note that there are no elevators. Be prepared to drag your luggage up a flight or two of stairs. Desk chair inside was also torn and frayed - the room overall could have used an update. Noise level was bad for a while until a suite next to us calmed down. We turned on the swamp cooler to run all night so the white noise could deaden the noise. Next trip through town, I think we'll try a different hotel.

Of course she had negative opinions about everything, and that's why she's an ex. Lol I personally liked the room myself, with no complaints. Here again, 2026, I didn't make a reservation. I walked in and asked a very charming woman if they had any rooms available, and lucky for me, they did. $93.50 for the night, in a very large room #250, with all the amenities you would need: Ice bucket, hot water and/or coffee/tea maker, microwave, mini fridge (empty for your own beverages, etc.), heater/AC, TV with remote, queen size bed, desk, cabinet with drawers, two night stands with night lights, blow dryer, 3 sink towels, 2 sink towels to remove makeup, two body towels, a wash cloth, floor towel, and the bed was so comfortable. If you like Latinx food, across the street is an authentic Mexican restaurant (Perlita's Mexican Restaurant). The Bayview Inn front desk manager said that was restaurant has good reviews. I bought 3 nice size tacos for $17. Anyway, the Bayview Inn has a very large parking lot. I give a rating of 5-stars because I found the place to be welcoming, and the room to be clean and comfortable. When in the city again, I'll definitely stay here.
