Very disappointed! Unprofessional behavior! For the estimate I informed the company of our condo layout, second floor, number of windows, etc. They gave me estimate , I agreed and made an appointment. They gave me specific instructions to remove everything from accessing the windows plus all artwork, if any near the windows. We moved furniture, blinds, artwork, etc. The day before appointment I didn't hear from them so I emailed them confirming our appointment. Julia the manager, called me back and said they actually looked at Google photos and it looks like the work they estimated (more than a week or two, ago)was not correct so it will be more money. I was surprised but agreed to decide on the price when the workers come actually here and estimate the right price then. On the day of appointment the company worker who was scheduled to come, called me and said he has family emergency situation and he's on the way, or in hospital. He told me to call the company manager Julia to set up new appointments. Again, I was surprised that he's calling me not the manager. So after a while I thought she will call me and inform me about this new situation but no, no call, no email, nothing. So I called Julia, she sounded very surprised, not knowing about this situation at all. I asked her if she has back up plan? No she didn't. She said she will call her workers and let me know, soon. She returned call in few minutes and said that worker who supposed to come, left the job because in his opinion it was not safe??? He never even showed up, here?! So why did he lie to me?! While this company had great reviews on which base I decided to hire them, I would not recommend them at all! Obviously something is missing there! Very disappointing! Such a bait and switch with pricing. Julia has cleaned my windows about 5 times. The last time 2 years ago was $200.00. She quoted $250.00 to 275.00 for the service this time but could not get anyone out for a week. I went ahead and moved forward with the job even though I had company coming and it would be tight. The guy shows up and wants $450.00 to clean the windows. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH. Julia said she didn't know the scope of the job. Then said she thought it was only the outside windows. AGAIN, SHE'S DONE THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AT LEAST 5 TIMES. I'm so left hanging now I can only beg everyone not to use this company. Worst experience, worst customer service, worst lies I've ever heard as to why the price I was quoted could not be honored. Jordan came to our home to clean the windows and screens when entering and looking at our 1400 square ft two story home he said $130, and then said when he was finished he would appreciate $20 extra. As a couple of screens were extra dirty meaning to small bedroom windows that are hard for me to clean the downstairs windows I clean by myself rather often. I pointed out some spots he missed on a couple of windows I'm sorry I didn't check his work on the upstairs windows. My husband looked at a small window in our upstairs closet window that we have blinds always closed and noticed he didn't clean it at all on the outside, it requires a ladder. I've used the same window company for years to clean my windows and exterior/interior light fixtures. They were booked out for a couple weeks, so I decided to give another company a try. North Coast Window Cleaning had immediate availability so I went with them. When I made the appointment I was told to expect the window cleaner to be at my home for about 4 hours (based on the window/door count), but he actually finished in 2 which surprised me. As I walked around the house afterwards I noticed that a couple of the screens had been put back in backwards . Our screens are on the inside of the windows and the "wrong" side is black, while the "right" side is white. We were able to fix one of them easily, but the second was more of a problem because it is in a difficult area to reach. We stayed out of the cleaner's way as he worked, and I'm not sure how he cleaned the screens, but they weren't taken outside - so I know they weren't washed. Probably just dusted off. Not such a big deal except for the screens above the kitchen sink/counter area which require washing since they are in a food prep area. We have two windows in the house that are very high up and require a ladder for cleaning. Not sure how he cleaned them since he never brought a ladder inside. The windows definitely look much better after the cleaning, but the windows and screens above the kitchen sink/counter could have used more attention. When the sun shines through in the morning the screens look pretty bad. Since we need to fix the screen that was replaced incorrectly we'll use the opportunity to wash the screens ourselves. I appreciate being able to get an appointment quickly, but wish the window cleaner would have taken a little more time. Also wish I could have at least had the foyer light fixture cleaned since it requires a tall ladder. The person doing the job said he would have cleaned it if he had more time, but added that he was pretty much overbooked for the day. I didn't think anything of it until he finished in half the time I was quoted when I made the appointment. read more

Not only were they able to squeeze us in with short notice but Julie, who runs the office and does the scheduling was very friendly as well. Donovan cleaned our windows and he did an excellent job, was friendly and professional and alerted us to some spots to look at on our house. He uses ladders with standoffs on them to prevent any lean against your house and takes great care with your home and windows. Nathan did a wonderful job cleaning our windows inside and out. They look SO beautifully clean! The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is beacause on further inspection of tracts upstairs, we found soot in the corners of them. The tracts looked briefly wiped down. Just note to have your tracts done "completely". Other than that this company is awesome! I had been trying to get a hold of 2 other window companies for 2-3days and receiving NO call backs. Frustrated, I sat in my car in a parking lot, looked up a 3rd company (this one) and had to leave a message. Within 5-7 mins, a kind and personable Julia from North Coast Window Cleaning, had returned my call! That's quick service! Wow, what a bad experience! I would never recommend this company and advise to steer clear. Not sure how companies like this stay in business. North Coast Window Cleaning was referred to us from a neighbor, when we called to schedule an appointment we spoke to Julia (owner) and received a fair quote of $130-$160. We scheduled the appointment for early morning provided that the service was estimated to take 2-3 hours. When the window cleaner arrived (Jordan) he immediately told us that they were unable to compete the job in one visit due to another appointment they had booked?? When we continued to ask more questions, Jordan who is apparently not employed by North Coast Window Cleaning (an independent contractor), said that he was unable to do the work for the quote we received over the phone from Julia. In order to provide the window cleaning service, he said he would need to charge $100 more than what we were originally quoted. I couldn't believe it. First they were unable to complete the job in one visit, then we come to find it was going to cost more money. Needless to say, we didn't move forward with their service. When I called the owner to share our experience, nothing was done to rectify the experience other than a "I'm sorry, do you want to reschedule." So many trade people seem to come and go but I have been a customer of North Coast for over 15 years and it's so nice to know I can rely on them year after year. Julia, the owner is so nice and is usually able send out a cleaner within a few days, which is helpful since I seem to always wait until the last minute to call for an appointment. They are a family run business and it shows with their friendly, personable attitude. Julia and her husband Stanley used to clean my windows themselves, years ago, but now they work in the office, so I usually have their son Nick clean my windows who does a great job, a fine young man, they taught him well, but I have also tried Dave and Nathan and have been just as pleased. I decided to try this company for an interior and exterior window cleaning service. I was scheduled within a few days and Julia was very friendly and helpful on the phone. On the day of service, Dave and his helper show up about 15-20 min late and as they began to get their equipment sorted Dave decides that they wouldn't be able to do the entire service after all because he needed to be at another property "on time" and that my house would take him too long. This was very annoying because I had scheduled time to be at home under the agreement that we would have a one day service. After much discussion with Dave, I decided to agree and have them split the service and do the inside as scheduled and then come back another day to do the exterior. We scheduled the following Monday for them to clean the outside, the good thing was that we didn't have to be at home for them to do the exterior. When I returned from my meetings I noticed that many of the upstairs windows were still very filthy (the main reason why we booked the window cleaning in the first place!) So I called Dave and asked him why they weren't cleaned. He proceeded to tell me that they couldn't reach the windows (although previous cleaners had no trouble with this before) and he wanted to leave it at that. I explained that this was unacceptable, especially after leaving him payment for all the windows, and asked him why he didn't call me right then to explain as i could have offered some solution(s). After much reluctance on his side he said that he would come back "again" but not for another two days. Unacceptable. I called Julia very unhappy and she was very pleasant. She apologized for the inconvenience and she had Dave come back the very next day to finally finish the job. I'm not happy at all with the service from this company. A lot of miscommunication on their part. I understand circumstances of over booking, and issues, may arise but at least call the customer to explain or discuss options before leaving unfinished work with full payment in their pocket. I will say, they did a great job but I don't think we'll be using them again. read more

Owners son and coworker showed during window of time promised which was appreciated and as far as the actual window cleaning... that was fine. BUT upon entering the residence I told the son to NOT move the sectional couch in anyway as it could be damaged. He said no problem and that he could cover the couch with towels which he was holding. I came back into the room to find the couch totally moved away from the area. When confronted the son tried to say that I had not told him to not move the couch and went even further to infer I had imagined the conversation. It took 3 men to carefully put the (very pricey brand new) couch back and am not sure yet if it has been damaged. I had made sure when making this appointment that the rails of the windows would be cleaned. Upon inspection, I found dirt, cobwebs and mud in the rails. Again the son was a bit insolent when asked to remedy. I would not recommend these specific window cleaners and can only imagine the (less than true) response. read more

Having owned two homes for 18 years, we have had over 10 different window washing companies come and clean our windows. While all (with the exception of one) have done a pretty good job, we were blown away by the amazing results achieved by North Coast Window Cleaning Company. After they blew us away six months ago, we were that much more impressed today. Each time we called, we were assigned a gentleman by the name of Nick Stanert. Each time, Nick was perfectly on time and upon arrival, he took a detailed account of the windows we wanted cleaned. With the utmost professionalism, Nick attacked our windows with a degree of pride and attention-to-detail that you rarely find in this industry. Along the way, he presented a positive and can-do attitude. All that pride, professionalism and attention-to-detail is good -- but what is really worth noting is the "like-new" final product he proudly presented us both times he did our windows. The prices charged for the 5 star quality of work was actually lower than the prices we paid several years ago for inferior work. WOW! Great company!!! The scheduler, Julia, was a delight to work with. The two cleaning guys, Dave and Eric, did a hell of a good job. Our two-story house is quite tall. The first floor interior height is 10 feet, and the second floor interior height is 9 feet. It has about 25 large double hung windows which are very hard to clean because the muntins are not detachable and they frame the individual panes of glass in every double hung window. They showed up earlier than expected and worked almost 7 hours (vs. the initial estimate of ~5 hours). They did impeccable work on all of the interior and exterior windows without charging any extra fees above the original estimate. They were worn out by the end of the day, but they stuck to it and completed everything with a great attitude. Dave even called me the next day to ask if they missed any windows. If so, he offered to come by and clean them. How's that for follow-up? All in all, we had a fantastic experience. These folks deserve your consideration! read more
