I needed to get my gutters cleaned, so I called. I loved that they said on the voicemail that I could just text the same number. So I did. That made it easy to get them the address and ask a few questions. They gave me a quote with a range that seemed quite fair. I realized that it would be great if they could fix some tiles on my roof while they were up there, but didn't think they offered that service so I asked if they could either do it or refer me to someone. Turns out that they do this all the time. I was thrilled, because everyone else wants to sell me an entire roof. Again, reasonable price quote. I decided to push my luck and see if they could clean my solar panels. Yep! Again, reasonable price. So we booked it all for the same day. Mike shows up with another guy, and they are both super nice. They took care of the gutters (serious gunk in there), fixed all of the broken tiles, and all with a smile. There were also some other problems that they took care of that others would have charged me for, but these guys don't do business that way. In fact, although they gave me a quote per tile, at the end they just gave me a flat price for the tiles (I had quite a few) and saved me some money. After that, the solar panel dude shows up and goes to town on the solar panels. I had to work so I didn't meet him, but I certainly got my money's worth on the solar panel job. This guy was up there for a while. I have a feeling that I'll be producing a bit more electricity this summer. I found out they wash windows and hang Christmas lights, so I'll be calling them again. I just hope they continue to expand their service offerings. These guys are nice, professional, and reasonably priced. And they did exactly what they said they would do - when they said they would do it. 5 stars. Easily. read more

It's amazing to me, how far people will go. Easily the most unprofessional company I've ever experienced. I bought a new home, my first. Very exciting stuff. Needed windows and gutters cleaned. Put my faith into a local company. I drive up to my new home when they're cleaning, and all their trucks are in my driveway. I can't park anywhere. It's ok, but wish they would have asked. I double park my driveway. No one ever offers to move. So I get out still happy to see people working on our new home, and the owner immediately rushes over to me demanding cash for the job. I was completely caught off guard. I'm confused, there was no talk of cash prior or anything. Not to mention, I didn't get to see what work had been done. I ask to see the work that was done before I pay. He states again his need for cash, right now. Horrible taste in my mouth from this interaction. I've never had any service person do this. But, out of good faith, I go get cash. I come back to pay, he's gone. I give it to a trusted worker. Just so unprofessional. So, I'm pissed off, it ruined my day, and decide to never hire them again. Plenty of other people to hire. I didn't leave a review in case he was just having a bad day. But, no. I find this guy on Facebook a few months later, local guy, I get a hold of him. He comes out, does a great job, great rates, super kind and communicative. I hire him multiple times. He happens to work with the Kennedy Brothers which is not my problem. I can hire whoever I want, whenever I want. You don't own my home or who I hire. I get this text today, very passive aggressive saying here's our office number next time you need to schedule. Let me make this abundantly clear, Kennedy Brothers. The level of unprofessionalism you showed by texting me this morning this, is completely unacceptable. I called a bunch of gutter cleaners some answered some did not, some you have to wait for 2 weeks, some are charging too much and then I found Kennedy Brothers with all the good reviews and being in business for like 20 years I called, and Stephen answered and gave me a quote after sending him my address. Called him Monday and he scheduled me Wednesday. My gutter is now clean, and I am fully satisfied. Brian L. came to my property to wash windows and skylights. He scraped and damaged all of my clear skylights that were less than four years old. After the owners received my complaint, Brian L. immediately texted a hostile message. Paul and Stephen Kennedy, the owners, refused to take responsibility for the damage and refused to apologize for Brian L.'s behavior. The owners of this company tried to claim the scrapes were present before the cleaning. THEY WERE NOT. This company did thousands of dollars of damage to my beautiful home. When the owners repeatedly refused to give Brian's last name not printed on his business card, I felt unsafe in my own home. His last name is Liffin. I installed a security system and alerted our neighborhood watch. The owners responded to the police officer involved, that I needed to "take them to court." The owners refused to offer their insurance company that they advertise as "insured". They cashed my check immediately. They did not offer a resolution to fix the damage. After I filed for small claims, an attorney from their insurance company magically appeared to settle the case. Paul Kennedy, the owner, is hard to track down as he moves a lot. The business address is vague on their website, especially if you need to serve someone for court. Paul tried to add a gag clause to our settlement so I could not share this review. I had Kennedy Brothers out to the house to clean my gutters and address roof discoloration from the likes of lichen/algae/moss. I was fortunate to be able to see some of my first story roof to know there were things to address. Second story roofs and gutters are hard for a homeowner to see. I am so glad I found Kennedy Brothers to get up there and clean my gutters and roof area. They even notified me of two broken tiles which they offered to glue/seal back into place. It was short noticed and they were still able to make it happen! Luckily it stopped raining for the time that they were here! Extremely unprofessional company. I had hired this company a year ago to clean all of my windows and mirrors. They recently called to see if I needed the service again, at which point I confirmed the pricing and scope of work and scheduled the cleaning. Over the phone I was quoted $550 for all windows and mirrors in the house. Remember, these guys had been to our home before, so there weren't any more windows than the last time. Within 15 minutes of the technician, Daniel, arriving at my house, he told me that I had received the wrong price over the phone, and it would now be $600 because gas prices had gone up. Although I found this to be very unprofessional, I agreed to it. After 15 more minutes, Daniel again came to me to say that I had been quoted the wrong amount and the new price would be $750. For me, it's not about the additional $200, but rather that the price was changed TWICE within 30min. I asked Daniel if he would honor the price I was given over the phone and he said that he couldn't, that it wasn't his fault his employee gave me the wrong price. I guess Daniel believes it is the customer's fault. So I sent him away and if I were you I wouldn't waste my time with this company or would make sure they sign a contract honoring the price they give you before they show up so that you don't waste your time as I wasted mine. read more
