They have you lay on one side and that's all, so I only got half my back rubbed while on an uncomfortable hard table. They only had me on one side as well, never rotated me for evenness. I had a massage here the Thursday before Christmas. The massage part was ok; I would not complain about it. But during the massage, the therapist (who did not speak English well or clearly) went out and came back with something she started applying to my back. If felt like she was clipping my skin with something. It was not explained to me, she only seemed to be asking me if it felt ok -- she keep saying "OK?" I said yes because the pain was managable. After a little while I asked her to take them off, because the pain was bothering me, especially around my neck. When I went out I was charged $20 extra for something called cupping, which I then realized must have been the clipping feeling that I experienced. I was a bit annoyed, but did not complain, just paid and left. After getting home I Googled cupping, and also looked at my back and was shocked and alarmed to see that I was covered with reddish-purplish circular bruises!! My neck, where the bruising was worst, was painful; and I was upset that I could now not wear a sleeveless shirt without showing these horrible bruises! The receptionist at this place spoke English very well and could have asked me if I wanted this procedure and explained to me what it was and also about the marks it would leave. It was shockingly unprofessional to have this done without explanation and permission. read more

My husband got us a couples massage and I had never heard of this location. I went in with an open mind and was looking forward to the 2 hour massage. I was a little put off when I laid on the table and area where I laid my head was not an adjustable pillow. It was uncomfortable for my neck and there was so many tissue paper liners that I had to keep adjusting because I felt suffocated. When the two ladies entered, they said hello but nothing more. They didn't ask us if we had any areas we needed work on, anything. My therapist starting rolling her hands/arms down my body (with the sheet on) for awhile and I could not relax. To be honest, I felt like my therapist had never given a massage before. She used one hand in many spots and there was no real flow or rhythm? Once again, I couldn't relax. Then when the sheet was pulled down my back, it was stopping halfway over my behind. I was thinking what the heck and then she was really massaging all of my back but the top of behind as well. I was shocked. Never in my life has that ever happened and it made me uncomfortable. Used way too much oil throughout the massage and the worst part, she yawned a few times close to my ear and you could hear people talking really loud through the wall. I was not sure if it was the neighbor business or someone in the same suite? This just was not a relaxing experience at all and I am still down about it. He's always check and responding to my emails! Sean told me his favorite was the combo, which I've never done before and usually just do the reflexology whenever I get a massage. I'm so glad he told me because now it's my go to! The combo is 70 mins long, in a private room AND it comes with free hot stones! There's plenty of parking and it's an easy location to find. One of the best massages I've had! I tried shiatsu for the first time, where the masseur(se) uses finger pressure mostly and minimal elbow to relieve tension in your body. Initially I asked for a masseuse but no one was available at that time and I didn't wanna wait, so I went for a masseur and his name was Andy. The massage was amazing!!! He took out a lot of my knots. The main focus was on the back with some arms and legs and minimal feet. His fingers and hands were strong and he used them mostly for an hour with only minimal elbow use which I loved! The prices were affordable, like most Asian places (Chinese here to be specific). Full body is $30/hour and shiatsu is $49/hour and they seem to have some discounts if you're a regular. My only complaint was the smell.... when I walked in, one corner smelled like pee... and their bathroom at the back smelled like sewage.... I think it's because of the age of the building but hopefully they or the landlord will do something about the plumbing... thank god the massage room doesn't stink! I will come back again! The first massage I had with a woman was good and I told her I had injuries and she seemed to care about that and work around it. She could not understand a word I said. I kept asking her to use oil and go to next body part, right arm, leg, left arm, leg. I had a more gentle massage which is what I needed. The second time, I went to Tom on a friends recommendation which I DO NOT recommend. He ignored my lower back injuries due to a car accident and pressed hard and put stone on it and I was mad. When he went to do my feet, before I could tell him to be gentle, he dropped them in disgust when I expressed discomfort at his touch. I wont go again. read more

Massages have become a tradition for my dad's birthday. Decided to try a new place today and this was close to home. I called ahead and booked massages for five people. SERVICE - We walked in and the man at the front was on his phone watching a video. When we stood at the desk, he slowly paused it and put the phone down but he had to finish the one part he was watching before he put it down...hence the "slowly". Once we had his attention, we told him we booked massages for five and he said "Okay, are you ready?". However, he did not know which ones we wanted as they never asked us over the phone when booking. Another thing was they never asked us to sign any waivers or write down our names anywhere like all the other places we have been to. It was a bit unorganized to start as they were trying to figure out which therapists were available. AMBIANCE - If you are looking for a nice relaxing spa environment, this is not for you. We came looking for a good massage. The environment was not a huge issue for us. Yes, the place smelled and the rooms were not "nice" but it did not bother us too much. MASSAGES - Oddly enough, my therapist was the guy at the front desk. I came into the massage very skeptical because of our whole beginning experience but to my surprise, he was really good. I am incredibly picky with my massages and the pressure. I always request deep tissue with hard pressure because I am very tight. From all the massages I have had in the past, only 1% deliver the correct pressure. The therapist I had today did great with pressure. He was consistent the entire time. Checked in to make sure pressure was okay. I felt great after the massage. Unfortunately for my parents, they both each requested female therapists but had male therapists instead so they were pretty uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was strange but my massage alone was great. I would not write this place off just yet. read more
