Even if they say it's rented to someone, you don't let that sh*t around your business unless it doesn't bother you.

Before I arrived to pick it up, the store took it apart without asking me, and assured me it was in "working condition." Once I got home and set it up, I discovered the entire top section doesn't light up. Clearly something went wrong either during disassembly or they never verified it worked after. I contacted the store immediately asking for a return or refund. The store manager claimed they didn't have any return policies. Just recently, a regional manager denied my request completely... This feels incredibly dishonest -- selling a used display item at full price, disassembling it without consent, and then refusing to take responsibility when it's defective. Just really gross business behavior. Posting this so others know what to expect.

As I walked down the aisles I found 8 in a circle just complaining about work in a manner you really don't want customers to hear. I spent 15 minutes grabbing what I needed and went to ask an employee a question and he's wearing not one but two earbuds and replies "WHAT?!" Do I really need to explain what's wrong with this? I've also never seen so many employees in a workplace on their phones, I feel like I could have even stole anything and not gotten caught. And one last thing, this is by far the dirtiest hardware stores I've ever seen, not even close!

I have been a customer at Ace Hardware in Mukilteo for almost 30 years. I called them to purchase a wheelbarrow and I asked them to deliver it to me, here i. mukilteo. He told me "Oh, we don't deliver outside 3 miles", and suggested I contact "one of our larger stores who have more emplyees." Which steuck me as a bumch of garbage, but I called the Silver Lake store. The lady I talked to was wonderful, and was also a resident of Mukilteo. She couldn't believe what I hD been told. "Let me give them a call for you." I went outside and worked for a little over an hour. No call. I came back in and called Silver Lake again. "They haven't called you yet??" "Nope." "Let me call them again." She called right back to tell me that" when I got the manager and gave him my name, he hung up on me" (!!) So I contacted Ace corporate to lodge a formal complaint. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and was told"I lodged your complaint with the store manager and you should be hearing from him soon." I told him I was mot holding my breath for that call.( that never came.) Meanwhile the gal from Silver Lake called back and offered to deliver from her store for a small fee. I told her "thank you so much for going above and beyond, but I won't give Ace Hardware another nickel of my money."

Proceed to tell me he isn't placing it and started to toss the order straight out of the gate and into a pile and took off! I had to pick up my heap of 2x4's and poles and carry them the 50 feet to the location of the project. He told me they don't get paid to unload and make a neat stack. He was aggressive, threatening and down right scary to deal with. Was happy to see him leave and run over landscaping as he roared off into the sunset

Starting with my personal purchase for a refrigerator. I had it delivered by Lowe's. I had no idea what issues would arise with this company! First of all neither one of the guys spoke English. Which normally doesn't bother me but when it comes to telling them to not walk in my memorial garden that was created by my Mom and I for my Dads passing. which one of the plants is a yucka. It has taken 18 years to finally bloom. They broke the stem with the blooms off. Then when my Mom passed away just a couple years ago my daughter and I planted plants in her memory. They stomped all over them and broke off the flowers and also broke my garden statue. They never apologized or even recognized what they had done. I'm so upset. I've reached out to Lowe's and still nothing as been done to resolve the issue (been since May 6th 2026). It's hard to put a price on the damage because it's more than just the cost of the plants. As far as the delivery for the business I work for, it was a nightmare. They damaged one of the refrigerators and tried to hide it. They dropped a washer, rammed a dryer into the wall. They refused the installation that was paid for when appliances were purchase. tho the work order included installation. So, do yourself a favor NEVER buy appliances from Lowe's if you need delivery!!!
