Bad experience here. Hospitality was terrible and servers and staff were not respectful and professional.

    Cheers!

Loved North Street Beer Station. It came recommended from someone at the Beer Garden just a few blocks away. The place is a small gem and I'm glad we went. Not only did we go but we went back the same day. Jesse was super cool and she herself is enough reason to go. But the upside is they have a small but well curated beer list. We had a flight and once we found a beer we loved we stuck to it. Then grabbed some beers to bring back to Jersey. Do yourself a favor and go to North Street Beer Station. You will be happy you went. And feel free to DM me a thank you for the recommendation. lol. Cheers and ENJOY!!!

This is a really nice bar that's more on the quiet side off of Glenwood South. We strolled on in here on a Sunday afternoon for a drink before meeting friends at a busier bar. They had a pretty good selection of beers and ciders. They even had a CBD infused drink (non alcoholic) that I thought was pretty cool. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars was due to them not having kombucha. I'm usually seeing these types of beer shoppes carry more non alcoholic beverages for those who rather eat their calories than drink them. (me!) They have then just beer, however. They also have a good board game selection and I saw that they have events during the week such as open mic night, comedy improv, and even yoga!

Ok, I'm still scratching my head on all these beer options but I guess ANOTHER wouldn't hurt, eh? With a location right off of S. Glenwood, North Street had a beer monopoly for a short time until Stags Leap and Storm Brewing opened up on the last two weeks, doh! From the outside, you'll notice North Street Beer Stations green face and inside you'll find some communal seating along with a back bar. Bottles on the left, small elevated area in front, I'm sorta scratching my head on how this place is laid out. But thankfully the bartender in back is super-cool so I grab a couple of pints and hang out. We've got techno-dance music pumping out on the speakers overhead which is, different. Overall North Street Beer Station is totally fine for a quick brewski but I don't get what they're trying to do here. With all the competition in the hood now, I"m curious to see how the place evolves...

Tap station here at north street!

North Street is still new enough that not everyone knows about it, but it has definitely risen in our list of go to bars on the weekend or during the week. They have a variety of craft beers on tap for all different taste buds but if you're really picky you can always grab something out of the cooler. The prices are competitive with the other bottle shops in the area although what I appreciate about North Street is that they give full pints of all the beers listed on draft (most beer stores list the smaller pours now-a-day as it's always a shock when you're paying more for a beer and only receive 10oz). What will keep bringing me back to North Street is their awesome bartender Ellis, she's down to earth, loves her job and makes her customers feel important and special (she always remembers my name!) And although the prices aren't listed for the beers on the shelves, Ellis has a price gun which comes in handy and she's quick to help out. As a side note, I also love the fact that the beer shelves and tables in North Street are all recycled wood from the law firm that was in the location prior, it's nice to see a local business being sustainable! Now all North Street needs to do is get someone to get their social media up and running so all the beer nerds can know what to expect on tap!

Love this place. It's a nice small crafty place and fills the void since moving from nyc and having our go-to spot there. Staff is super nice and beer is good. Only wish I'd that they'd include prices on the cans

besr bartenders everrr... boozey & ellis!! :)

North Street Beer Station is just what Glenwood South needs.... it's a cozy bottle shop with ~8 rotating taps. Located near the corner of Glenwood, it's a great place to have a drink while grabbing some take-out food from nearby restaurants. They even have $4 ponts on Sunday&Monday, which is a fabulous deal for their awesome craft beers! You can even bring your dog inside while you enjoy these treats :) They always have taps for everyone's liking- they always have something dark, some IPA, a wheat, and a light beer. They also tap a lot of local NC kegs too, which I love supporting locals who support locals. They have tons of seating at the bar & there are quite a few tables. I love the garage door at the front that provides such openness to the tasting room. They also have 3-4 TVs to watch sports or whatever u want. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots & the garage is a block away. My favorite part about North Street Beer Station is their extremely knowledgeable bartender, Ellis.. she knows her products & is great at recommending drafts & bottles to those who arent certain what to get. Her dog, Boozey, is so charming & chill- I love coming here when they're both here!

Love this place. Bottle shop with beers on draft as well as wine. TVs, lounge chairs, and indoor/outdoor seating. Not sure if this is a normal Saturday evening thing but the throw back Hip-Hop 90s Music is what roped me in! Also, check out their Facebook page for events; comedy night is always a lot of fun. FYI: complementary koozies are on the house!

To say this is the best bottle shop/bar in Raleigh is an understatement.

It's not a cheap option, but certainly a good way to spend an afternoon. There is some outdoor seating as well, if the weather is nice. The variety of wines is moderate, but they do have some interesting, non-mainstream options.

So make sure you get there when you can. When you do the wine tastings you get to sit down (a very very small bar) and the bartender tells you all bout the wines. I had better conversations with the other patrons though! We had a good time! They have wine and cheese to go along with it so you can shop for that too. Super nice and super friendly, got greeted immediately and asked what could we do to help you, I thought that was really nice. Customer service, top tier. Along with the cheese app charcuterie and other type of meats. Not a grand section but enough. The have everything you need to be paired with the wine. They also have a bunch of beer in a front of the store so you can do beer if you don't feel like going wine. There are a few coolers, so you have options. They have people that are very knowledgeable and they told history on the different types of lines that really match what goes on on the walls because they have maps of different areas of wine regions on the walls. It's really educational too. If I lived in the area, this could be my go to for wine!

Disclaimer: This was my first EVER visit to an ABC Store in NC…read more- So I can't say for sure if it's "As good as it' get's" but it's as good as I've gotten! So contrary to what you might be thinking, I came here to buy alcohol to eat- not drink. I woke up with the sudden urge to make Banana's Foster and went down to Trader Joes for ingredients. I was reminded of the funky NC alcohol laws (CA Trader Joe's sell wine, beer and hard liquor-FYI they even have their own generic brand of vodkas and rums!). So I quickly Googled the nearest ABC store to home and wham- I ended up here! I didn't want to invest in an entire bottle of rum (especially since the recipe called for only a few tbsp) so I bought a few of the tiny airplane bottles. They seemed to have a pretty wide selection and fair prices. The ladies at the front counter told me that there was another ABC store nearby, but that location was small and served you from behind a counter. These same ladies also helped me pick the right brand of rum for my recipe (which I was thankful for since rum ain't my poison). For all of these reason's I will return! Well, all of these reason's and the simple fact that this is the only place I CAN come to buy alcohol. North Carolina kinda has me by the balls on this one.

There isn't much to like about this ABC location…read more Like most ABCs, this one is in a strip mall. But it's probably one of the smallest and most crowded strip malls in Raleigh. Good luck finding a parking space on a Saturday afternoon. Also, good luck working your way around the Papa John's delivery drivers on the way out. By the way, much love to all of the Papa John's drivers - you guys are awesome and thanks for all the pizza. The selection is one of the worst I've seen. I can get most of my favorites (Tito's, Tanqueray, Bulleit), but I always have a hard time finding anything out of the ordinary. On my last visit, the store was operating two checkout lanes, and then switched to just one as soon as 10 people needed to check out. I didn't quite understand that strategy. The Cameron Village store is much nicer.
