Shortly after fueling in Medford, I noticed what looked like light smoke in the mirror. Within a few miles we had lost about an eighth of a tank of fuel, and after pulling off it was clear we had a major fuel leak after the pump--nothing I could fix on the side of the road. AAA towed both our truck and trailer to Kelly's. Even with other vehicles ahead of us, they diagnosed the problem quickly. The repair wasn't simple due to how buried the component was, but they handled it efficiently and got us back on the road. Jeremy, the mechanic, took the time to explain things and clearly knows his craft. Justin was also very helpful and communicative throughout the process. Mike Corthell arranged a ride for us with Andrew, a Morrison lodge employee to get our permit before the office closed at 3PM. After the car was delivered to our home in Portland, I asked a trusted friend where he would take a problematic Benz, without hesitation he suggested MBZ 4X4. I trailered the car 250 miles south to Merlin, to get things sorted out. Fred was able to start working on the car right away and he quickly deduced that it was a valve issue. He sent the head to Eugene to get rebuilt, got things back together, adjusted the carburetor and now the car runs like new. This is not an inexpensive repair, but we spent about half what we would have in Portland for the same work. Fred is a great mechanic and as honest as the day is long. I googled, I connected and although I did not have an immediate order, the team at MBZ treated me as a repeat customer and went above and beyond by providing referrals for specialized service in my State, not theirs. I'm in touch w their recommendations and will cherry be ordering my specialized parts from MBZ. Kudos to the team at MBZ!
