GF Menu as of June 2023

Celiac Foodie: Cook was having a rough day with details. The offer a GF sensitive menu with salad options and dinner options. The 1st salad had croutons. I returned that and received my 2nd rather quickly. We also had a Chicken Wrap (not GF) with Fries (not GF), seasoned well and the wrap was 'ok'. I did get 'glutened' from my Salad, even thou we made it clear I have Celiac. (My assumption- the chicken breast was re-plated, causing cross contamination of my meat but again, I'm assuming due to illness) I would not recommend to my fellow Celiacs but for the others, food seemed good. Happy Dining!

From check in through eating until leaving, it took more than two hours for our meal. Granted, there were nine of us. The five people on my half of the table all had cold food. The only reason I could only tell about my half of the table is because it was so loud. I couldn't hear the other people. By the food left on the plates, I would say that there's was at least cold if not something more troubling. I will say that the hot beef sandwich pictured below tasted good, but as I said, was cold.

Surf and turf daily special, 1/2 order. We split this meal and they served each half on each plate. The pan fried blue gill was excellent

Don't let a parking lot full of cars dissuade ypu from going in. The place is massive, half dining room, the lounge has a huge bar, high tops, pool tables, lots of TVs. The menu is pretty diverse. We started with the pretzels with Two-hearted beer cheddar cheese. 3 big pretzels and enough cheese that we brought home the little remaining. Next a cup of their Portabella, prime rib soup. The chunks of prome rib were large and many. Very filling. We split a daily special of lightly dusted pan fried blue gill, new your strip and 2 sides. The blue gill was superb. The steak was over done, maybe too long waiting to be brought out? Their prices are par with other local establishment. The service was slow. But I think due to few kitchen folks....welcome to era of covid 19 and being understaffed. We will come back to try different menu options. Draft Blake's traffic jam cider, and local amber draft.

This is the "after " of my sandwich when I picked it up- had to eat with a fork. Bring back the old bun!!!

Huge place with a restaurant, bar and outside area. We sat at the bar. Ordered the French dip and fries. The vodka soda was good- not too stingy with the vodka. Apparently they are trying a new bun as of yesterday for the French dip. I loved their French drip and the bun was the best part. This one is a huge fail. It fell apart before I dipped it. Couldn't even pick up the sandwich. I had to eat it with a fork. The fries are good. Fun place. So disappointed that they ruined my favorite sandwich.

This place is kind of a lone ranger in terms of being the only place I saw of its size for a solid ten minutes. We had a large party and they accommodated us quickly and well with two tables. I definitely liked the apps we got. We had the pretzels and they were good. If anything, I would get something with beef here. They apparently source their beef from a local place, and I did have the steak and it was decent, though the loaded potato that came with it was not well cooked and pretty flavorless. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich seemed to be okay, and I also heard from a buddy that their french dip was pretty good. I would not recommend the burrito though as it was pretty bland, though the portion was HUGE. I think if I come back here, I'll definitely grab something with beef and something that is more bar food-esque. I loved the pretzels, the steak was okay, and I would like to see what sitting outside does to the experience.

I will give this restaurant 5 . We brought a large family (9 people) late on a Sunday. We had excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their food. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. We sat in the dining room but the other side was a large bar, pool tables, lotto, slot machines. Looks like there is a nice deck and corn hole boards I only got pics of my food and my husbands

Great food and service. All recommendations were perfect. The Jack burger is where it's at! Too bad it's not closer.

Service was great and food was good but not great. Prices were very fair. I would go again but not go out of the way.

Great food and service. Not a single complaint. Just moved to the area and have been twice in less than a week. Just might become regulars.

Lots of free parking, a good selection on the menu. I really enjoy the ribs and vegetable medley. I have always had good service.

After living here for almost 4 years I was very surprised to just now be hearing about this amazing…read moreplace. As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

The atmosphere they've created is cute, welcoming, and very family friendly. One of the servers argued about giving us a wrong sample, but a different staff member agreed and gave us the correct one. Even if we were wrong, when you have a group trying so many of your wines/ciders would you really make a big deal about one little sample?
