Fun ambience with multiple pig decorations everywhere! The inside was a bit cold, so we opted to sit outside. It was a bit buggy with gnats. The food was good. Huge portions but expensive with over $15 per sandwich and no sides included. Overall, everything tasted great, but a bit expensive for a lunch stop... but what isn't these days. The service is generally great here. We've been three times now. Always busy, but reasonable wait times. The best things on the menu are the cheese sticks and the tater tots. They do these really well. I did not care for the prime rib Philly. The meat was just too fatty for me... too unlike a traditional Philly and certainly not a traditional French dip. It wasn't bad enough to send back, but I took half of it home and never touched it again. Today I had a burger, the Nunica or something like that. I had that with their house french fries. The french fries were passable, just so so. When someone has a signature burger like this, I expect some signature spice on the meat and there was none as far as I could tell - not even salt and pepper. The rest of the ingredients in the sandwich were good. Once again I ate half of it and brought the other half home. Which is to say, portion sizes are generous and make up to some degree for charging $20 for a burger and fries. $60 meal for two w/ tip and two soft drinks is pretty stiff given the lack of flavor in the main courses I've had. I like the place and I like the people. A couple of side items have been excellent. So far on my list, I have the two side items listed as things that they do exceptionally well. I am three meals in and I have yet to find any main course that I believed was actually beyond decent. The best thing about this place so far is the location. It's right off the highway and is a convenient stop for going to and coming home from other destinations. I really enjoyed the decorations we saw around Christmas time. I was happy to find that they are not something that is up all year... they actually took them down. We will keep trying, and I'll update if I find a fabulous main course. read more

Food is always excellent with large portions, and reasonably priced. They also offer some unique drink specials. The Spring Fling Sangria was wonderful. Food: Consistently delicious. Today was super efficient, the appetizer was out in minutes. Decor + Ambiance More is More. The holiday decorations are beautiful. Red and warm white lights everywhere. The restaurant runs a bit loud with a pub-feel, paired with decently loud music makes it enjoyable for a duo and not as though you're on top of your neighbor, despite semi-close table spacing. Perhaps not the best choice for loud groups with poor hearing :) Service: Absolutely 5 star. We were seated quickly and our server was awesome. Update: Well it's been awhile since I was last here. Going in with more reasonable expectations this time. The atmosphere is still on par. I ordered the Bacon Candy ($) and the Flat Iron Pork Steak ($). The Bacon Candy is exceptional. I don't get the caramel and chocolate sauce that comes with it, however the Bacon Candy itself is wonderful. Just what candied bacon should be. The Pork Steak was excellent. It was juicy and flavorful. The baked potato I got with it was also very good. The person I was with ordered the Steak ($). It was stated to be cooked perfectly to a medium rare and was very tasty. Multiple times it was mentioned how good the onion rings were. Lastly the third person I was with just ordered a basket of fries and enjoyed her meal. Overall this time was a full 5 star review. The bartenders - there were 2 and for the life of me I cannot remember their names, and I'm sorry! They deserve to be mentioned by name. Whoever was working on Saturday 2/3/24 around 3:30pm. They were so personable and attentive. Started with the cocktail of the day a rum punch which was very tasty and a blonde mule. The mule had peach and orange vodka with ginger beer, I was REAL happy with it. For entrees he had the prime rib and he said it was "fine. But there was definitely some entree envy. The portion was decent, but it was lacking in flavor and the texture was more steak-like. Not the melt in your mouth texture expected with prime rib. For a side he had the potato wedges with a side of ranch and those were the bomb! I had the Whiskey BBQ burger and it was delicious! Much better than the Red Robin version of the burger with the same name. The burger was cooked perfectly and the massive crunchy onion ring. I had skin on fries for my side and they were good - but next time I'll get the wedges. We will be back, for sure!! read more

Ambience is an easy 5. It's quiet enough that you can carry on a conversation at your table. There are cute pig pictures on the walls. :) Service was great until our server dropped the ball right at the end. There was a wait for seating while we were waiting to pay our bill for fifteen minutes after finishing eating. As far as good goes, the onion rings are stellar! There are thick slices of sweet onion inside the perfectly cooked batter. The mozzarella sticks are great when they're hot! My side salad was large and had a nice mixture of greens. Three people at the table ordered burgers. None of them would go back and get burgers again. They don't ask how you want them cooked, and one of them had A LOT of very pink meat, while another was a decent medium-well, and the third was crispy on the outside with parts of the inside too pink and not cooked enough and other parts medium well to well done. I ordered fish and chips sans French fries and with salad instead. I would not order this fish again. One of the pieces of fish was cooked perfectly and was meaty, and after I salted it and doused it in lemon juice, it tasted pretty good. The other two pieces were small and overcooked and not seasoned enough. The breading on the fish wasn't traditional beer batter, which is what I was anticipating. It also needed salt. The tartar sauce was ok, but didn't add enough flavor without the extra salt. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. Overall it was a decent experience. read more
