Turks is one of those hidden gems, though maybe not so hidden sine it is always busy! The staff are always friendly and despite the business, the service is pretty quick! Food is always excellent with large portions, and reasonably priced. They also offer some unique drink specials. The Spring Fling Sangria was wonderful. It has a casual vibe, one of those small town taverns that always delivers! There is typically a wait, but it is worth it!

Love this restaurant. The food is always good and yummy We sat on their outside patio and our server was very accommodating. Great place to meet between Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore.

Food: Consistently delicious. Today was super efficient, the appetizer was out in minutes. Decor + Ambiance More is More. The holiday decorations are beautiful. Red and warm white lights everywhere. The restaurant runs a bit loud with a pub-feel, paired with decently loud music makes it enjoyable for a duo and not as though you're on top of your neighbor, despite semi-close table spacing. Perhaps not the best choice for loud groups with poor hearing :) Service: Absolutely 5 star. We were seated quickly and our server was awesome. She even upsold an absolutely delicious dessert! 100% recommend the Peanut Butter Pie. It's like a giant, delicious buckeye.

Update: Well it's been awhile since I was last here. Going in with more reasonable expectations this time. The atmosphere is still on par. I ordered the Bacon Candy ($) and the Flat Iron Pork Steak ($). The Bacon Candy is exceptional. I don't get the caramel and chocolate sauce that comes with it, however the Bacon Candy itself is wonderful. Just what candied bacon should be. The Pork Steak was excellent. It was juicy and flavorful. The baked potato I got with it was also very good. The person I was with ordered the Steak ($). It was stated to be cooked perfectly to a medium rare and was very tasty. Multiple times it was mentioned how good the onion rings were. Lastly the third person I was with just ordered a basket of fries and enjoyed her meal. Overall this time was a full 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely.

This was our 3rd time here and we love it! The service is some of THE best around. We sat at the bar, as we usually do whenever we can. The bartenders - there were 2 and for the life of me I cannot remember their names, and I'm sorry! They deserve to be mentioned by name. Whoever was working on Saturday 2/3/24 around 3:30pm. They were so personable and attentive. Started with the cocktail of the day a rum punch which was very tasty and a blonde mule. The mule had peach and orange vodka with ginger beer, I was REAL happy with it. For entrees he had the prime rib and he said it was "fine. But there was definitely some entree envy. The portion was decent, but it was lacking in flavor and the texture was more steak-like. Not the melt in your mouth texture expected with prime rib. For a side he had the potato wedges with a side of ranch and those were the bomb! I had the Whiskey BBQ burger and it was delicious! Much better than the Red Robin version of the burger with the same name. The burger was cooked perfectly and the massive crunchy onion ring. I had skin on fries for my side and they were good - but next time I'll get the wedges. We will be back, for sure!!

One of our favorite spots! We visit or get take out at least twice a Month! Everything is great-- food, service, staff and ambiance! And visiting during December is magical. The decor is simply gorgeous!

The indoor/ outdoor space blends together in the warmer months with cool hangout spaces and game areas. This place is truly a work of art. Drink lists abound, but because it was lunchtime we stuck to food. We were not disappointed. Everything was well conceived and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!

Today on the 11th hole my plying partner was about to hit his second shot when this guy on a mower comes roaring up to him and passes within 3ft. behind him as he is about to hit. We proceed to hole 12 and the same guy is now mowing that fairway, after I teed off my partner teed off thinking the mower was out of range. When we went to hit his second shot the mower came roaring up and his first words were, " You f-ing idiot, you hit me", followed by a string F-bombs with the parting words, "Go play somewhere else". I suggested to my partner that we ask for our money back and leave, but he wanted to continue playing. After we made to the green, the mower made it a point to come roaring next to the green as my partner was putting. We the proceed to the number thirteen tee and lo and belong our new found friend is mowing right down the fairway, apparently we were expected to wait until he finished mowing the fairway before teeing off. At that point we left and were told in the clubhouse that they would give us $10 each but that's all they could do. Service was slow out of the gate -- despite our waiter hanging out with a table he clearly knew. Food didn't fare much better. We ordered the smash burger, which by definition should come with cheese and smash sauce -- that's the whole point of a smash burger, not an add-on. Ours came with neither, and even though it had two patties, we had to pay extra just to add a single slice of cheese. It was incredibly dry, even after adding that cheese and trying table condiments to compensate. The chicken tenders looked appetizing but the chicken itself was stringy and overcooked. Dessert was the low point. We ordered the Oreo cheesecake bites and waited over 20 minutes, only to be served what was essentially liquid pudding in a shooter glass with whipped cream on top. Our server admitted, "I didn't know I was supposed to make it" -- it seems the dessert needed time to set in the fridge and was served before it was ready. While we were waiting we heard another table complaining. The server responded "chill. It's all good". The table responded "actually it's not all good!" Three strikes and we're out. We won't be back.
