I called and they were able to come same day to my work location and I'm so glad I was able to get it fixed. Took about 30 minutes for them to fix. Overall my total was $375 (cash) for the back windshield which was amazing compared to higher prices from other places. Thank you for such a easy and smooth experience

Summary: Technician came unprepared without the correct…read morepart, then company stopped responding when I requested they fix installation issues. Full Story: My driver's side power window got stuck down. Their technician arrived but didn't have a fully compatible motor (his replacement lacked auto-up/down functionality). I also noticed while the technician rooted around for a compatible motor that all of their motors appeared to be used. When the technician manually powered my old motor (bypassing the switch), it wouldn't raise, confirming replacement was necessary. Since I wanted a fully compatible motor and was worried about the durability of a used one, I drove to O'Reilly (with my door panel off) and purchased a new original equipment motor while the technician waited. He installed it, but immediately the window malfunctioned: it would drop halfway after reaching the top and wasn't responding properly to the switch. The technician tried troubleshooting but concluded it was an electrical issue beyond his expertise/scope and left. I researched and replaced the window switch myself, which fixed the responsiveness issue. However, I then discovered two new problems: a loud clicking/hiccup when lowering the window halfway (see attached video, turn audio on), and the anti-pinch safety feature not working (in hindsight, likely due to the technician directly powering the motor to diagnose why it wasn't responding to the switch and messing up its calibration). I contacted Gilbert to request a return visit or discount. He initially refused warranty coverage since I'd supplied the motor, though I pointed out I only did so because they arrived without the correct part and offered to send him video of the problems, which he was not interested in. Eventually he agreed to send a technician and charge me for the labor if it wasn't their fault. I accepted but after having to follow up multiple times to get responses regarding the details and set a time, I gave up. Ultimately, I fixed it myself: a clip securing the motor's wire harness was broken (likely during installation, though the plastic was old and brittle) causing it to hang into the window's path. In the technician's defense, if my window switch had been working, he probably would have noticed and fixed this himself. Still, the broken clip appears to have resulted from the installation judging from scratches on the previously untouched inner door panel.

Booking my appointment online was quick and easy, and when I arrived, the receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming. I chose to wait in the lobby while they replaced my windshield, and the process took about an hour and a half. Just a heads-up--mine didn't require calibration, so if yours does, it may take a bit longer. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with both the quality of the work and the customer service. I'll definitely be recommending them to friends and family!

UPDATE 8/13/26 Finally after AAA got involved, we had…read moretechnician Christian who came out to replace the missing moldings. When I tried to tell him what the last technician had said about making sure it was glued down he argued with me that everything had always been done perfectly, then why was it flying off on the freeway? Then they added over 20k miles to my mileage on my repair order. WTH just trying to mess with car fax? He even had the wrong size wiper blades he was going to put on. Had my windshield replaced, the technician was not careful with the dashcam removal, they left glue residue which we thought was the worst of it until the trim molding flew off on the freeway. Turns out he had not replaced the clips that hold them on and he neglected to glue them down. It is impossible to get hold of anyone, we had to go through our insurance company to get them to send someone out to fix it. We had an appointment took the day off work to have the technician that showed up tell us he could only evaluate the problem. He told me what the problem was and did glue down the side that hadn't blow away but weeks later we are still waiting for the repair that was paid for. They do not honor their warranty or their work. Use anyone else to replace a windshield!

Don't waste your time. Prepare to get different quote 20 min before the appointment…read more Alert: He will contact you with 2 different phone numbers, one is Raul and then refers you to the second one as his friend (pretty sure it was the same person because he called again in a second pretending he was the referred friend but I was wondering why pretending though) Today I understood that because he want to change his wording comfortably & blame it on *I maybe didn't understand Raul!* So much unnecessary headache but that's what scammers do all the time, it's their lifestyle. What happened: I called him yesterday and asked to fix my rare window regulator, I had the parts so I just needed labor, everything went well I got a price and we confirmed a next day appointment at (4:30pm) by the end of the day because of his schedule. Today he called me 30 min before the appointment and asked again about the car issue, CHANGED his wording, and gave me a HIGHER price...! He said "it will take me more time & I don't know why I thought it was the front window regulator not the rare one" He will waste your time (I could've go fixed it somewhere in the morning) He is not efficient and will change his mind 20 min before the appointment (trying to push it so you agree on the new price) BE PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECT PEOPLE'S TIME or don't offer a service from the beginning. Check the photos for the call reference.
