Gravel trucks should be outlawed! I was about to purchase a replacement windshield for our 2020 Charger from Safelight and then I googled " Safelight quality" and learned about OEE (original equipment equivalent), meaning not as good as original. We had just paid off this car the day before, we weren't going have an aftermarket replacement. Found Sonix online, they looked up the vin number and had an OEM Mopar windshield in stock for this car. At my request they installed it the next day. I was driving home Sunday and a small rock hit the bottom of my window....and I had JUST had it replaced within the past few months. I called the guys that replaced the window and they were supposed to come out between 8-9am today. I confirmed it! This morning I texted them to confirm they were coming and they said they got sick. At 8:30 they tell me this. Ugh. I took time off this morning to fix it! So I called Erlena Auto and Ana referred me to Raul. Raul quoted me, and he was here in less than 30 mins. No one wants to have to get their windshield replaced, but if you do, Raul is who to call to have it done. I reached out to a few places for a quote, and Raul messaged back within 20 minutes with one and asked for some pictures so he could make sure he had the right part. He was able to schedule me quickly for the next day. He texted when he was on his way and when he arrived, which was great. Didn't have to sit around wondering! He worked on my car for about an hour, replaced the windshield and it looks spectacular. Looks exactly the same, just minus the heinous crack that was taking up half of it. Not only was he great at the job, he was also so nice! I know there are hundreds of auto glass options in LA, but this is the one to go with. He knew we were in a hurry to get this done and worked extremely quickly to get insurance approval and the materials. Where other companies were quoting over a week before installation, Raul was able to get the insurance approval and the OEM glass was ordered, received and installed all within 2 days (with installation on a Saturday at my home!). My windshield has a ridiculously long crack right in the line of site. I contacted quite a few places for quotes, which all varied greatly. Raul responded very quickly to my request and gave me a fantastic quote. At first I was a little skeptical since his price was a little cheaper than a couple other, but I decided that I would try it out after reading some of the positive reviews. Yelp reviews really do matter, people! I digress... He was able to come to me the very next morning, however I scheduled a few days later. The day of the appointment, he messaged me to let me know he would be just a few minutes late. Honestly, that made me so happy. I have worked with so many independent contractors and he has to be one of the few that has ever contacted me to let me know he would be a tiny bit late; such a great thing to do. He came to my house to fix my windshield. Raul stated it could be up to an hour, but within about 35 min, he called me to meet him at my car and it was done! He gave me the run-down of what not to do, warranty, etc., and that was that! A couple months later, my new windshield still looks fantastic.
