All in all though, good quality healthcare is really hard to find these days, and they are doing it pretty well here.

Not much time window since that's on 1/2/19. Ongoing issues? Adults are shown the door with yellow pages. Pediatric care continues at other clinics. Is that age discrimination? Being cast aside mid treatment for neuropathy makes doubt the efficacy and necessity of said "therapy". Thanks Mosaic, it was good, but you've changed. Bad management and greed is a bad recipe for success.

Here's the deal…read more I'm an active guy who gets myself into a lot of trouble. I worked full time hours at an amazing (and busy) cafe in Kirkland and it got my neck into all sorts of weird because I'm tall and the counters in the cafe, well, they weren't. I was hesitant to reach out to any physical therapy because I had previous experience with PT back in Boise that was less than sweet. But my neck pain reached a point where I needed to try. By chance, Mosaic was within walking distance of my apartment. It blew my mind that PT could be what Mosaic was. The staff was overtly friendly and, most importantly, invested in dynamic treatment that involved exactly what and how I was feeling each day. And they were kind enough to laugh at all my bad jokes, which is a huge plus. I receive treatment for my neck for about three months at which time I'm discharged, as it were. I have exercises and recommendations to move forward with instead of just being "done" and "good luck!" So, then my active guy trouble-making hits its stride in late July, 2016, when I dislocate my shoulder. I'm out of town when it occurs, go to the local hospital, and that next morning, I call Mosaic to schedule rehabilitation. They get me an appointment the same week, they test my full range of motion, and they welcome me back like it's a family reunion. Not kidding. The community at Mosaic is absurdly awesome. Any business could learn something from this place when it comes to genuine service. Last week, I went and played disc golf again without a problem. I started a bodyweight exercise program and due to the excellent care, my shoulder feels great. I'm still doing cuff and strength exercises a few times a week, exercises that were given to me as continued therapy after I was discharged. And then there's Tasha. Tasha might be the best PT in the Pacific Northwest. She's damn good at what she does and there was never a moment in either of my PT schedules to Mosaic that I felt uncomfortable or as though I was liable for re-injury. On one of my last PT sessions, knowing that one of my goals was to throw an ultimate disc without trouble, she brought a disc into the office and we practice motion with different throws. THAT is personalized care and that shows class and dedication. Now, if you've made it this far, you might be thinking "okay guy, you seem biased. how much are they paying you." Quite the opposite my friend. I paid THEM to laugh at my bad jokes. But, in fairness, I should list some downsides to Mosaic. I think that's only fair. So, here are the downsides to Mosaic: 1. They are flexible and work with your schedule. (If only they would cancel other people's appointments for me. Sheesh) 2. They always smile. (I mean come on, smiling again? It's Monday) 3. They won't schedule you for more sessions than you need. (Seriously? I love paying way more money than I need to. Jerks) 4. They forced me to bring in coffee. (Well, I mean, it may be more like I volunteered to bring in coffee, but still, what the hell) So I hope that balanced it out for you. If it didn't, and it's still skewed way in favor of working with this amazing family and community at Mosaic, well, good. You may want to go be reckless like me just so you can experience what I'm talking about. Disclaimer: Don't be reckless.

I have been a patient at Hands For Living for 2 years now with multiple surgeries to my hand. All the staff have been incredibly compassionate, professional, timely and friendly. Although each staff has been excellent in my treatment, my favorite caregiver has been Vanessa. She is engaging and lively and competent. Thank you again Vanessa for your guidance in my healing. The clinic is clean and spacious. They interface with my hand surgeon for any updates to my treatment. They also speak Spanish for those clients who do. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Highly recommended!

I called Hands for Living looking for occupational therapy that centered on hands. I have a…read moreneurological disorder that leaves the muscles in my hands weak, and I have a tremor that makes fine-motor work difficult. The person who answered the phone didn't know if they worked with hand tremors or neurological disabilities involving the hands. No problem. I don't expect everyone at a job to know everything, especially in the medical field. The problem was her attitude. She sounded almost surprised that I was asking the question. She acted blown away that someone would call into an occupational therapist's office that focused on hands with a HAND-focused nerve problem. She almost sounded disgusted. When I asked if she had any recommendations for other clinics, all she would tell me is that "I wouldn't even know where to begin to figure that out." Then she wished me a good day and hung up. For a medical clinic that treats people with debilitating medical conditions, the lack of sensitivity when communicating with a potential client was astounding. It's hard enough to find compassion in the medical field, particularly as a woman, but the least they could do is have a little more tact.

Parking was free and very convenient. Service: We were greeted efficiently by a friendly receptionist who quickly situated us and directed our paperwork. Another technician roomed us and helped us to snacks, coffee and prepare for Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee herself was so knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. She helped us to feel comfortable and understand the procedure we were evaluated for. She was so patient and took the time to answer all our questions and make sure we really felt empowered and prepared. She was also SO good with our little babe and distracted and treated very well! We felt welcomed and had a great experience The space/ ambiance: Thrive was bright, clean and welcoming. They have a great modern waiting area with fun toys for the kids and a coffee machine for tired parents that makes a variety of drinks including lattes. The technology was great with most of the paperwork being able to be completed on a computer they provide - a plus for us Washingtonians who want to save trees. The office itself is so spacious and modern and offers a great space for kids and families with multiple children. There are televisions the kids can watch while getting cleaned and a nice partition so moms can see 2 kids at once. Price: While this is no restaurant, they do a good job with insurance and also ensure you understand the costs prior to service. We were very impressed at the efficiency and ability to take our insurance. Overall (TLDR): we had a wonderful experience and felt confident as parents that Thrive and Dr. Lee provided the best care for our little one. Highly recommend!

You walk into a very toddler/kid friendly reception with toys and puzzles. My toddler pooped right before he was supposed to be seen (must've been excited about the toys?) and they have a changing room with a changing table, wipes, and diaper genie. Their bathroom across the hallway even had a child toilet! So impressed before even getting taken care of by the dental hygienist and dentist. Their care is patient, flexible, and encouraging. All of my go concerns were addressed. My child even got excited to brush! They think off all the little things like another chair/table area for kids next to the dental chairs to play at. My child loved playing with the fake teeth and dental set. He had his picture taken and put on a certificate commemorating his first visit there! How fun! They sent us home with two toothbrushes, one for a toddler to hold and one for me in addition to a bath toy, a reusable bag, and toothpaste of course! We switched dentists because of the lack of cleanliness at the previous place. We now have a clean, reliable dentist to go to in our neighborhood!

My Aunt has been at Aegis Living Greenwood for three years. The experience has not been positive…read more The major problem is that Aegis is a for profit enterprise run by an owner who wants to maximize his profits. This is done at the expense of senior residents and their families who feel trapped. When our aunt entered the facility her monthly invoice was about $8,000. Due to inflation and a "care point" system imposed by Aegis, her current invoice is now over $14,000 per month. Yes, there has been a gradual decline in my aunt's physical and mental abilities, but nothing so acute as to warrant a 75% increase in the cost of her care within three years. Rather, it feels like Aegis has devised a way to legally extort ever greater sums out of its vulnerable senior residents and their families. Within the fine print of the contract she signed there is a "care points" system which is supposed to relate to additional services that may be provided. Aegis has the UNILATERAL power to impose these services and charges on the resident. Just this past month, Aegis Greenwood said it installed a new software to calculate care points, and by virtue of this new system even more points were added DESPITE no additional services being provided. Additionally, the Aegis assessments are incredibly vague in describing which specific services are being provided to justify the additional points being charged. When one contacts Aegis for an explanation of the charges, they deflect giving an answer and instead request a face to face meeting, so that they can have the element of surprise and create intimidation by bringing in several employees. They refuse to put anything in writing. I feel that Aegis has entrapped and is financially abusing my aunt and likely many other vulnerable seniors for whom changes, like moving their residence, is a very difficult matter. One report filed with the State says, "He did not recall signing anything recently regarding an increase in care points. He was paying 10-11K per month when his mother moved into assisted living and now pays between $18-19K per month [three years later]." Sounds familiar. Even with all of this going on, it is unlikely I will move my aunt as she has settled into the place and moving her would be a true hardship on her at this stage of her life. I am managing her finances so only I have to deal with the disgusting behavior of Aegis management.
