BEWARE!!!!!! They don't care I've tried to get someone to call me back about my DVD player for a week already. When I call they tell me only Sam Gonzales can help me, goes straight to voice mail, left a message and haven't gotten a call back. Called again today, same story, if I was inquiring about a new vehicle bet I would get a call back. Got a call back from Kevin the relations manager (nice guy) He spoke to Sam Gonzales who informed him that even though they installed the DVD player at Northside Ford they are only covered by factory warranty of 36 months or 36,000 miles Surprise! the expensive extended bumper to bumper warranty they sell you doesn't cover items installed by the Ford dealership only things installed from the factory. (misleading when they sell it to you) I will never by extended warranty again!!! What does it cover?? The one time, I was going to use it on the sunroof cost me $137.00, that wasn't covered either. Wouldn't recommend this dealership. Beware, go somewhere else. read more

2019 Expedition was shifting rough, again; the dealership had made a repair 25k miles earlier. During this recent experience, the vehicle was in the shop for 52 days (7 week and 3 days). It spent approximately 35 days in queue to be seen (their policy dictates it must be physically present to be in queue). Everything about the experience took longer than expected. I was told it was #1 in the queue for a week. The repair timeline kept slipping. The service advisor and I recall conversations we had much differently. I do not feel the service advisor was honest, making up narrative that defended their poor service. Getting updates on the vehicle was challenging: text messages were seldom responded to, phone calls were disconnected several times while on hold, and updates were always customer initiated. I have learned through tough experiences what I could have done differently and provide the following advice for anyone currently considering this maintenance department: 1) reconsider this maintenance department, 2) call the Ford help line to get an advocate for your vehicle if you are not getting the service you expect, 3) ask for frequent updates on queue position and repair progress, 4) document all discussions, and 5) take pictures of vehicle before dropping off your vehicle to document condition. Advise for the maintenance department: 1) be straight with your customers, 2) consider a virtual queue so customer vehicles do not sit for so long untouched, 3) improve repair efficiency, and 4) improve customer service with better communication. read more

Went to Northside Ford for the second time since 2017 and bought another Mustang from the. My sales person Korbie Contreras was super awesome!!! She told me everything I needed to know along the process of getting my car. She went above and beyond to make sure that I knew everything that was happening. Very pleased with her help and service. Angelina from the service department was very professional and got right on the case with my vehicle. I had taken the car originally to McCombs Ford West, had set an appointment on Thursday, April 7th, 2022, for 10 am and got there at 9:30-94am, and the service advisor, told us that the vehicle would be looked at the same day we dropped it off, and if it was an easy fix, they would call me or if it needed parts, they would order the parts, and have me pick up the car. We would drop it off on Tuesday of the following week and by Wednesday or Thursday of that same week of dropping it off, the car would be ready for pickup, once again, if parts needed to be ordered. Not only did they have it parked for three days, the service advisor, lied to me directly ,saying he would be working on Saturday April 9th, 2022, only to be greeted with an empty chair. I picked up the car, and called Northside Ford and the rest is history. Case in point, Angelina Anderson did an amazing job; she under promised and over delivered. She did everything the right way, and she deserves the praise. I dropped off the car the day of this writing, April 9th, 2022, at around 1:10 pm and we picked it up the same day, at around 3 pm. I have been a customer for over 16 years buying a vehicle at NS Ford pretty much every two years. With my latest purchase a 2020 explorer I have had nothing but issues. Which would not be so bad if the service department was not so rude and unresponsive. I have asked to speak to the General Manager but apparently this person does not speak to customers it's such a shame, even my sales person whom I've used for years has been unresponsive. Terrible service department. I took my 2018 Expedition Max into service because the alarm randomly goes off, hood and truck will say ajar when it isnt. It will eventually reset itself or you can turn the car off and on. I was forced to rent a vehicle as this I my only vehicle to which I spend $1000 per month on. Rented a vehicle for 5 days for them to do diagnostics on. They claim it didnt alarm in 5 days. I do not believe them as it alarmed 3 times the night we brought it home. And 2 times the morning afterward (right now). Because they said it didnt go off, I was made to pay for the rental even though we spend several thousand dollars for the extended warranty. I do not believe they had the vehicle close enough to them to determine if the alarm went off or were walking away too much during the day and didn't hear it. It isnt a coincidence that the alarm goes off everyday before we drop off to Northside and magically doesnt go off for 5 days while at the dealership. Then goes off again 3x the night we get it back and 2x the morning after we get it back. This is extremely maddening. Electrical issues are hard to diagnose and it is easy to say it didnt happen with us so that they arent on the hook for fixing it. Not happy to spend $1000 a month on a vehicle and having it alarm throughout the day. And they will not entertain providing a loaner vehicle so they can evaluate longer without added cost to us. read more

So I dropped of my truck for a simple service and door delete, and hey while it's here take care of the 2 recalls, an undercarriage cover and a windshield wiper issue. For all this I made an appointment for which I had to wait 3 1/2 weeks. Dropped of the vehicle and a couple days turned into a week which turned into two weeks. Picked up my vehicle and just paid and got out of the there quick thinking that'll be the last time I come here for service. However I woke up the next day and saw my vehicle from another angle and found a new bit of white paint on my black trucks bumper, no damage someone just rubbed up against it and left a mark thank goodness. So I called and wound up sending a picture on Friday and was told I'd get a call on Monday, it's Wednesday and no call and I just got out of the car wash where my brand new windshield wiper was just wrenched off of its mooring, and this a carwash where the defective wipers made it through at least a dozen washes previously! To say I'm furious is an understatement! If I could give zero stars I would do so! read more

Not much went well. Dropped off my vehicle on aThursday. It was not starting giving a "starting system failure" notification. I also needed a reprogramming due to a recall. By the following Wednesday, no one knew what the problem was so I was ready to take it to someone who could actually help. By Wednesday, the reprogramming still had not been done. Waste of my time! Literally, nothing was done in all those days. And the place is super old, dirty and outdated. There's a sign that says "courtesy shuttle waiting area" yet no courtesy shuttles. Boy did Northside Ford fool me! I had an appointment with the Northside Ford Service Dept today. Turns out my "appointment" was merely an assigned time to check in for service. It was not a reservation of time for repairs and services. So, when they registered my vehicle for service today, they asked if I was leaving it for a few days. ...a few days for an appointed time for a computer lead recall (no mechanical work involved) and a tire rotation? I told them I'd wait. The service agent politely told me it might take as long as three hours. AND, they have a policy of providing a courtesy vehicle only if your destination is within 10 miles. Yet, I went out of my way to drive 15 miles to Northside as their customer. Well, after 4 hours, it was finally done. Imagine....an appointment that took four hours to update instructions to my vehicle computer, an oil change and a tire rotation. And I couldn't get a ride home instead of waiting in their lobby. ? Yes. The place was clean. The Service Writer was polite. But 4 hours? There seemed to be no sense of urgency. Heck, once I paid for the completed service, I still waited 15 minutes for them to bring the vehicle out front. Nope - not returning to Northside Ford. read more

They used to be a decent dealer, but now they seem to not care at all for repeat customers. They had a vehicle I was interested in and offered $18900 to get me in there. When it came time to price the vehicle they added $2100 in BS add-ons (paint protectant, etc), and wouldn't remove them. Its the same as ordering a cheese pizza for $10, and the restaurant decides they're gonna add extra toppings and charge you extra, even though all you wanted was a plain cheese pizza. Rich Hanley needs some consulting training!!! Worst attitude I've ever experienced!!! My wife talked with Rich on May 25 around 1pm to schedule me to stop by for an estimate on May 31 at 5:30pm. I actually arrived at 5pm and left work an hour before I should have... We'll, showed up and waited... gentlemen at the frost desk notified Rich of my arrival... Rich pokes his head out from around the corner wall and states "you don't have an appointment... it's after hours, the last day of the month and we don't give estimates on this day... they can reschedule for you..." and walks back to his office. I was left shocked and speechless... WOW! No introduction! No handshake! What a waste of my time and I lost an hour of pay! Thanks Rich, you deserve a raise! If this is how Northside Ford Collision treats their customers, I'm glad he ran me off... I don't want to deal with a company who don't know how to treat their customers. I really couldn't believe what happened. I went online to make an appointment for my car waited about a week for the nearest date to get my car in. Showed up for my appointment on the date and time I was supposed to take it in. Then I was told that I would have to leave my car for a week to a week and a half for the technician to be able to see the car. Then they would be able to tell me what was wrong. I asked them if I could just bring it back in a week later and was told that I would just fall back in line that I would lose my place. My problem with this is why do they make you make an appointment just to have it to be seen a week to a week and a half later. I don't know many people who could leave a car for that long of a time. I will not be going back to this place. I'm just glad my doctor doesn't do appointments this way. read more

Why isn't there a 0 star feature? As an Active Duty military person, I've never been this disrespected. Anyone who's considering purchasing, do yourself a favor and purchase elsewhere. The sales staff is absolutely horrible and try to make you wait around for hours even when you want their advertised pricing. They try to make their money on your trade. At first I thought I had a bad experience with the first sales guy, so I got another! And that didn't help either. They even brought out the manager to insult you. He'll bust out all the cards from places he's probably been fired from (to prove his validity that he's been doing this for a while) and try to insult you to until you give in... then on the way out, he'll say you "gave it the ol college try." I've purchased about 6 new vehicles in 10 years since I'm financially fit, and this was the WORST experience ever in sales. My friends rave about their service department though! After dropping off my 2015 Ford Explorer for a scheduled service, I spoke with a service representative who was not only rude, but he made me feel as though I was wasting his time and was an annoyance in his day. I then spoke with the manager Mr Rigby who said he would take care of the issue. Mr Rigby said he would fix the issue I was having with my car (my car shudders randomly and this was the third time I brought in my vehicle at this dealership for this issue) but he also said he would make sure the vehicle was washed too. When I picked up my car a week later, not only was it dirty with bird poop and debris all over it (Mr Rigby said it would get washed) I also was charged $1700 for "other items" besides the shuddering issue that they claimed they couldn't replicate. Based on this being the third time I have brought my car in for this issue, I am now up to $4000 in costs for this issue that somehow can't be fixed. The shuddering literally started up again when I got into my car at the service area, to drive it home. Yet somehow, the service department can't "replicate" this issue but has also now charged me $4000 on trying to fix it with no resolution. Very frustrating - to put it lightly. This service department and dealership over-promises, under-delivers, makes you feel like an annoyance, lies, charges money for random service fees, takes advantage of the customers, provides no real face to face engagement, and makes you feel like a number. I had contemplated trading in my 2015 for a new model, but there is no way I will ever utilize this dealership to make that happen. I plan on posting this review on social media and other sites so that others do not get taken advantage of, and treated so poorly as I have been treated. I cannot express how awful this has all been. My 2019 Ford F-150 had two pending Safety Recalls. I contacted the Dealership and scheduled the service approximately 10 days in advance. I arrived at the Dealership this morning, checked in with a Service Advisor about 7:30 AM. He indicated, the Parts Department didn't have the part in stock, it would need to be ordered and the Service rescheduled. I cannot understand how a Dealership's Parts and Service Departments cannot coordinate to have necessary parts available for a Safety Recall that's been on their radar for months and the Service Appointment was scheduled more than a week in advance. A subsequent conversation with the Service Director, was fruitless. I sent a scathing email to the Dealership's Director of Operations after returning home, who, in turn called me. While he was cordial, I refused additional help. After multiple, new vehicle purchases over more than 15 years, today's outcome over a Service issue, forced me to reevaluate my relationship with Northside Ford. An hour and a half for an oil change in the Quick Lane. ‍ And when I pull in I see 5 guys in a group talking. The reason I decided to wait was because the last time I was here I paid $985.00 for services that wasn't needed and my vehicle was still not fixed. Left the lot and the check engine light came back on. It turned out to be something else but they did take care of it and provided me with a rental car. My service guy gave me a free oil change so this is why I'm here. I usually go to places that only take 10-15 minutes to do the oil change- and I never get out of my vehicle ( I get to stay in my vehicle while they do the oil change). If your time is valuable I don't recommend getting your oil change here. read more

If you have money and need repairs by Ford certified mechanics, Northside Ford will be happy to take your money and not fix much after a year. Went in to get an A/C blower repaired, driver side motors fixed for window and mirror, and some other repairs for my 2008 Ford Expedition. Fixed front blower but now rear a/c blower is not working. Window works, but mirror does not. Informed them and they then said they needed to order a part. Months later, finally able to get truck in for the repair and it still did not fix the mirror. Said it would cost another $100 to find the problem. They could not fix the auto start but could find other problems and "needed" repairs. Over $2000 in repair costs and they still could not fix my power mirror or autostart. Experts? Will never give them my business again. Will never recommend them to a friend. Definitely understand the one star reviews. Sales team is terrible; specifically Dave the internet sales manager. Super unprofessional. If you enjoy being demeaned and them gaslighting you with their smart remarks, this is the #1 dealership for that! GM will make false "customer comes first" cliche and not uphold their meaning to it. Customer clearly isn't coming first, nor does responsibility. i have had two prior issues with this dealership in the past at different years. Guess that's some type of consistency. First time there. Just moved to the area from Schertz. I had a warranty repair that had to be done and I was dreading having to go to a dealer after multiple bad experiences at Jordan Ford. What a relief! Jonathan was kind and attentive. The service was done on time and they even washed the truck for free! I preordered the 2021 Bronco Sport in September through the Ford website and listed Northside Ford as my dealership of choice for delievery. After my order was placed online I received a call from the sales manager Chris B**** to confirm my order details so that the production could begin on my vechicle. I was super excited considering my parents had this car in the 90's so this was exciting for me as it was one of my favorite vechicles that they owned. The Ford company was very good about keeping me in the loop about the production of my vehicle and estimated time of delivery. I would receive email production updates, vin number info and tracking info. So on December 2, 2020 I received a call from Chris B**** about the estimated time of arrival for my vehicle...with both parties super excited! He said the vehicle was planned to arrive in 2 weeks which I was also tracking through my email details that was provided through my preordered reservation. I continued to wait and during the third week of December the tracking info listed my car was delivered. So, my fiance and I visited the Northside Ford dealership and the sales manager on duty had no idea were my vehicle was and offered to reach out to me once they are able to find my vehicle. On the next day, I received a call from Chris B**** stating that my vehicle had been sold! This was my first time buying a b**** new vehicle so my heart was broken and I felt taken advantage of by the dealership. How does this happen when the car pretty much has a birth certificate ( vin number )? This is Ford we are talking about...i'm sure when cars arrive to any dealership they are scanned and accounted for? Anyways, once I calmed down the dealership said they will take care of me and that they have ordered me a new car that is planning on arriving to the dealership in 2-3 weeks...this was on December 31, 2020. However this particular car had additional safety features that would cost an additional $2500 but it did not have the upgraded rims I wanted with the Big Bend model that I originally ordered. Chris B**** said that they will give me the car with the two additions with the same cost as my original order. Fast forward to early February and I have yet to hear any information from Northside Ford. Then on February 6, 2021 I called to speak with Chris B**** and the operator said that he would call me back, shortly after I received a call back from Tom P******* about the status of my vehicle. He said that the car was planned to arrive on February 19, 2021 and that they are paying very close attention to my vehicle. I was starting to feel relieved and excited again about finally getting my Bronco but at the same time I tried not to keep my hopes up just in case it does not work out once more. Well on Monday, February 22, 2021 I received photos that my Bronco had finally arrived, but the Bronco did not have the only feature that I had originally added; the upgraded rims that were promised to me. I decided you know, maybe this car was not meant for me and with all the drama, lack of communication and failed promises I decided not to purchase the vehicle. When I was asked by Tom P******* if there was any particular reason I no longer wanted the car, I said well it's been too long and there's been too many broken promises, it had put a sour taste in my mouth and that I've moved on. As I said that he actually cut me off and said that if I change my mind to let him know. Again, I am very glad I did not give them my business. It is very clear that they do not value their customers or customer service. We are a Ford family and we always will but we will never do business with this dealership in the future. I am writing this review to recognize the superior performance from Javier Perez and the service provided by the Quicklane on my GT500 on 30DEC2016. First off I would just like to explain that I flew to San Antonio, TX for a few days to pick up my recently purchased GT500 (from a third party dealer out of Houston, TX) while visiting family for the holidays. I was prepared to make the drive to San Diego, CA about a week after (active duty Navy stationed in San Diego, CA). Time was of the essence and Javier and his team delivered! I had picked up my used Shelby from Houston and it was now in San Antonio and I was preparing to make the drive to San Diego, CA, so I had visited North Side Ford to get an oil change prior to making the drive. I chose going to NS Ford because when I lived in San Antonio many years ago they always provided exceptional service and good pricing. What i thought was a simple oil change turned out to determine I had an oil leak on my Shelby! I was contacted shortly after by Javier. I was upset and worried that I wouldn't be able to meet my deadline to return to San Diego as planned. However Javier reassured me that he would expedite the entire process and get it repaired as soon as possible. I gave him my deadline and he made it happen one day earlier. Since I purchased this car from a third party i wasn't entirely sure what needed to be done and what i had purchased. Javier and his mechanics on duty fixed the oil leak problem, and made my vehicle safe to drive the 2,000 journey from San Antonio, TX to San Diego, CA! The price was fair, Javier's customer service was phenomenal, and my car was safe and and EXTREMELY FUN RIDE ON i-10 WEST! Being from San Antonio, TX and having received the experience I have since day one. I will ALWAYS refer ANY and EVERY Ford owner to the best and friendly team at North Side Ford! When I decided to write a review, I was absolutely not surprised with the fact that this business has only 2 stars. The quality of salesmanship is so poor here, I had to ask the person to stop speaking to me (politely, I might add). Then the sales manager came, and his 1990's style of pushing a customer into "crunching the numbers" and seeing what my sweet spot was, literally made me sick to my stomach. He tried to "close" me, and I felt like a Las Vegas token being thrown around the table. Stay far away from this place - the lack of professionalism will shock you, and everything from the bottled water, to the pushy sales tactics, will definitely leave a horrible taste in your mouth. After comparing prices online for the car I was looking for- Northside had the vehicle at comparable price to dealerships 2-3hrs away. Spoke with the first salesman on the phone and he quoted a price based on all the features we were looking for. Mind you there was a detailed email submitted electronically to help clear up any confusion. Get a call back, oops price does not include 2 of the things you want but they can add them in for $x. Still within a reasonable range, jotted down the quoted price and off I went with my pre-approved loan ready to seal the deal. Sit down and 5 minutes in to my visit, I am asked for my social security number. Strange? I asked why- and was told it was for running a credit check. Now why would I do this when I have financing? My bank is who I used to locate the car at Northside. Anyway, they tell me now the vehicle is another $1,000. I said enough. Second time the price has gone up and this is before I even see a single piece of paper from the dealership. Not a good sign. I tell them I cannot trust to complete the sale with them without more surprises so I am purchasing my vehicle elsewhere. As I walk out, I hear the salesman say, "They are leaving, thank goodness!". He's right, I won't be one of the dummies who put up with their shenanigans :) Thank goodness. I dodged a painful bullet right there. After reading the yelp reviews, I thought I would give this place the benefit of the doubt and save myself a long drive. I took my truck in for a power steering leak. It took 40+ days to get the pre-paid part in (order "lost" twice). When I ordered the part, the estimate was $190 for the labor. Once the part was in and I had it installed, they tried to say it was a $400 estimate. During the install, I asked for an estimate for a different problem and that cost $45 to do it, but they haven't been able to produce a written estimate that can be submitted to insurance. The overall work quality was fine, but not worth the horrible customer service. It takes way too much effort to get a satisfactory result. I'm going somewhere else next time. read more

Terrible service. Terrible condition of new vehicles. Delivered with countless issues that they refuse to fix even if under manufacture warranty. Avoid all dealership additional warranties. No value in them and they will attempt to steal the remaining premium on any policy thats ended early do to the sale of the vehicle. They are looking to scam you at every corner. If its even possible, find another actually honest dealer. read more

Barry Wayne, Paul Casper, and one other manager that I cannot remember his crap name. This is by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. All the "used car salesman" tricks and hassles can be found here. I had to argue to get 8k off a truck just to get a fair price. So in other words they are ok with ripping you off, if you let them. There is no such thing as "service after the sale" at this place. Check engine light went on 24 hours after I bought my truck. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway long story short, love my truck, hate the dealership. Feel free to message me if you have questions about them, honestly just want to save someone the trouble. Avoid at all cost. Nice to work with until you buy a vehicle then when you need service they are horrible. From check in at service to the service director they are rude as can be. I finally took my vehicle to another Ford dealer to get a recall addressed. read more

Buyer beware. Looked at a Ranger. It is shown as certified. Looked great and drove well. I test drove it last Saturday and today. Salesman was friendly and willing to allow me to drive it to my mechanic for a look over. Stressing that the vehicle was certified and still under warranty. Well, my mechanic found front end damage, doors needed adjustment and rusted screws on door sill. Mechanic stated that who ever performed the body work, really did a great job. Very difficult to see damage. But, missed a few areas. When I returned the truck the salesman stuck to the "certified" script. I just walked away and did not look back.
