Food is outstanding. I had the Salmon. Portion size was more than I could eat. Service was amazing. Definitely worth trying.

Fantastic evening. Highly recommend. We had a party of 4. Ate filet Mignon and the prime rib. Prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality of the meal. Stopped in for breakfast after a blood draw at Col Mntn Medical. I had been fasting for 12 hrs so everything looked great on menu. Wait staff (Janet) was most attentive. Breakfast very filling and good. Even gave me coffee to go on way out. Pastry looked good but was too full to taste. read more

Not at all accommodating to food allergies... If you have allergies stay away. We asked the waiter what could be done to accommodate myself and son with dairy allergies. he said the filet with asparagus was our only choice. I said my son is ten, any other ideas? Waiter came back with a hamburger no bun and some french fries. I said, there are noodles, shrimp and chicken, veggies, cant you make a quick pasta dish with some olive oil and garlic? Out came on three plates, Roasted Zuchini plain, Noodles Plain, Roasted Shrimp with garlic and olive oil. I had asked to speak with the chef 3 times and the chef never appeared. The skills of this kitchen are sub-par. This is the absolute worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. read more

We have been visiting Northside Kitchen for years and it never disappoints! The chef is super accommodating ( even whipping up an item no longer on the menu) and we have never had a bad meal. Yummy! This place was not what we expected but definitely worth the visit. We came in for a couple drinks and burgers and were a little baffled by the vibe. It's a cafe, donut shop, bar, restaurant and there's a gas station that shares the parking lot. We placed a special request and ordered bacon cheeseburgers with glazed donuts as buns. DELICIOUS! The burgers were cooked perfectly and so juicy. The bartender was friendly and service was prompt. Don't come here expecting a dive bar, but according to the locals, this place has the best, high quality food in the neighborhood. We even came back for a dozen donuts the next morning before we headed out of town. read more

The owner was very nice and generous to me and my class. The donuts were amazing and surprisingly didn't make me nauseous like donuts usually do. I brought my future father in law to the Vail area for some fly fishing. After our first day of amazing fishing, our guide suggested the Northside Kitchen. We arrived and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a great menu, and even better they had my favorite Cabernet - Silver Oak. I was further surprised to find they offer it by the glass! We opted for the bottle, but I was disappointed to discover it was room temp when we were served. I requested an ice bucket to help, but that didn't (nor could it) do much to cool it quickly. The owner (I think) stopped by our table midway through our meal, and I asked about the temp of the wine being warm. He immediately understood and replaced the remainder of our bottle with wine that was properly chilled. He even brought both of us an additional glass of Silver Oak as well as a glass of a delicious Bordeaux for comparison. The food was extremely good, and the three course dinner special is exceptional. It was the owner's concern for our satisfaction, however, that made this great meal truly fantastic. I strongly recommend this restaurant. read more

I have been a regular here many years and in my most recent experiences I notice the lack of consistency of the servers grooming standards, especially during the evening. My last two dinning experiences The food was great however the server was absent for a period of time and came back with a strong stench of cigarette smoke. One other thing I'd like to mention is the lack of knowledge the servers have during the breakfast time. It's very frustrating! I will remain a customer for now in hopes of changes in the future. Food is delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy. At first I thought I was going to have to order two servings to satisfy my appetite. I was wrong. That food was so good and filling. The place was packed when we sat down. The staff was running all over the place, but it looked as if they are all having fun and enjoying their work.
