I was going through a divorce A newly single mom and was pregnant with my second child. I needed a safer car and They completely screwed me!! I had a 2005 Nissan Murano from them for maybe 3.5 months I paid over $4000 for it and have NOTHING from them now they saw my 9 month pregnant butt coming and they sold me the biggest piece of junk they could. Within 24 hours I tried to return it I took it to a mechanic and they told me it has around $1300 worth of repairs needed I came back to the lot in tears I was due in a week and they sold me a piece of junk! they PROMISED to help take care of anything that came up while I was making payments. Well I barely got to drive the thing because it was ALWAYS broken! It had over heating issues, I needed to install a new battery within a week then I couldn't even drive it to the hospital when I was in labor because it wouldn't start!!! It completely died on the highway with no warning or explanation just shut off! I called and they cleared a code only to have the same one come back so that it would die again a couple days later.. The windows would go up and down on their own. The back seat broke the very first time I laid it down. they said it was 'only cosmetic' & refused to help. a broken seat where my children sit is a SAFETY issue not COSMETIC. It had a Bad timing belt and many more issues. The last straw was when The ignition cylinder went out leaving my 6 year old and my barely 3 month old and I stranded in 100 degree heat. when I called them I only wanted to maybe to split a tow truck?? but the first thing they say "well what do you want me to do about it? You bought the car!" They're bullies and they're unprofessional. They jimmy rig the cars to drive long enough that you're stuck in a contract and you can't get any money back. Complete crooks. Never ever go here.

Instead after I got the car their they wanted a total new engine!!! And would not work with me. My original Machanic told me that it does not need that. They laughed at me and thought the situation I'm in was funny!!!! Needless to say I'm now gonna be possibly losing my job and don't know what to do

I bought a car from Cascade Motors 2 weeks ago, the vehicle I purchased was supposedly in perfect…read morecondition, the salesman said it had been put on a lift and had undergone a very rigorous inspection to ensure quality. It had new tires and brakes and (would last a long time); so I was told. In only 2 weeks the vehicle overheated, I pulled over Immediately and called my parents ( I'm 17) we decided to tow the car to a shop. After the diagnostic, I was informed that there was an extensive coolant leak and my head gasket was blown and the block warped; a new engine was needed just to make the car road worthy. When I approached Cascade Motors about this I was told that the best they could do for refund was less than half what I paid for the car. They refused to consider any more, even though I'm just a kid and they most likely knew it was bad or lied to me about checking it out for safety before they sold it. After the loan, the time in the shop and towing fees I'm left in debt without a car. They sold me a horrible piece of merchandise if I could give zero stars I would. I would not recommend buying from this establishment--they do not safety inspect their vehicles before selling them, and if they say they do, ask them for proof.

They told me that they DO NOT rebuild transmissions, they are ONLY willing to replace them with transmissions from a second company whose transmissions are double the price of a factory transmission. They then quoted me almost $8000 to replace my transmission, which any mechanic can pull and replace a transmission for less than Olympic Transmissions. So they charged me $150 just to tell me what I already knew. I highly recommend Thurston county transmission just down the street. They quoted me over the phone less than the cost of Olympics transmission alone to actually rebuild my transmission like to an upgraded heavy duty transmission with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. In my opinion this is a terrible way to run a business and are just scamming people out of a $150 diagnostic fee. They should not claim to be a transmission shop if they aren't even able to rebuild transmissions and only install another company's grossly overpriced transmissions that don't even come with a lifetime warranty like Thurston County Transmission offers for a fraction of the price.

AVOID OLYMPIA AUTO SALES!…read more It's a shame I need to write this warning - I actually liked the salesperson I worked with, and I felt like I got a fair deal on my car. I planned to write a positive review when I got my license plates which would complete the transaction. But a month after I took possession of my car they tried to extort another $300 from me, and that's just not right. After test-driving my car I negotiated an "out-the-door" price including "Tag, Taxes, and Title." Their salesperson confirmed my home address and appropriate taxes for my location before we finalized the deal and signed the agreement . The next day I brought two cashier's checks to pay the car in full, and signed the final sales contract at that same negotiated price; we also signed a form that says I owe them nothing and they owe me nothing. I live an hour away, so they said would have the plates mailed directly to me. However, a month later I got a call saying they had received my license plates and wouldn't hand them over unless I gave them another $300. I called back to the original salesman who seemed very nice, and he said he would get it resolved for me. But after a couple of calls he said I'd need to call their other location and speak to the owner. When I tried to resolve this with the business owner, Marty Clark, I was told "I don't care what you have signed. You don't have to pay us, but then you won't have your plates and can't drive your car." When I reiterated that I had a signed agreement with his staff member for an out-the-door price and that I'd need to raise the issue with the Attorney General's office, Marty Clark said "my mom works in the Attorney Generals' office and I'll have the complaint killed." Washington State has thousands of car dealers. Find one that won't try to extort money from you after you've signed an agreed price. Editing to add: If you have encountered the same problem with Olympia Auto Sales, please file a complaint with the Department of Licensing at https://www.dol.wa.gov/forms/600006K.pdf and with the Attorney General's office at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
