Northwest Comfort Systems. 7/9/2025 3:30pm I asked this company to come out to give me a bid on a new furnace because the current furnace stopped blowing heat. Mike the the tech showed up, looked at the furnace and said he had to go to his van to get his tools to track down the problem. He was asked here to give me a bid on a NEW furnace NOT to fix the old one. I asked him at what point does the free estimate end and the charges begin. We talked a little more and I told him that I have 4 companies coming out to give me bids for the new furnace and he said "4 bids...you called 4 companies"? I said yes because I wanted to shop for the best price. He again said "4 bids?? Would you go to 4 different doctors to get their opinions too?" I said yes I would. He gave me a nasty look and I said thank you for coming. Goodbye. He left mumbling something and I am sure it wasn't nice what he was mumbling. read more

Really awesome, goes above and beyond for quality, reliability, and service! I've been using NW Comfort Systems to help maintain the elderly gas furnace that came with my house, and this fall I had them in to install a heat pump heating/AC system and tankless water heater. It was a great experience! Before the service, Mike came over and spent a solid amount of time with me, walking through the house, discussing options, measuring spaces, and listening to what I needed. Then on the week of the install, Mike, Rhian, and Keenan were on time and stayed in communication with me throughout. They made sure everything fit and worked beautifully, walked me through everything afterward (including maintenance and answering my questions), and even cleaned up afterward-- extremely professional and helpful. And now I'm thrilled with my new system! Rhian came out for a furnace service and to answer exploratory questions for a heat pump eventually. Tested the furnace that he'd installed several years ago, and it was in perfect shape with no up selling of service. He described how and where a heat pump could go, talked about code requirements and upcoming legislative landscape around gas appliances. No pressure to do anything, but the service pretty well guarantees they're our choice when the time is right. read more

Needed assistance on a pair of furnaces at my parent's house. We faced some challenges on compromised flooring, and inadequate roof venting, etc. Basically a mess. NW Comfort Systems was able to come out and quickly assess the situation - bid the pulling and replacing the of the furnaces (odd size for mfg. housing) and handle the entire process smoothly - and with great communication - they gave a chance to fix the floors, and when the units arrived they worked quickly to get heat into the house during peak season (JANUARY!!!) We absolutely love this company and their employees! Three years ago when we bought our house our furnace caught fire two days after purchase. They came out and rebuilt the system as well as checked over the entire system including the AC unit since it also hadn't been serviced in awhile either. And then since we were new homeowners they even gave us a full walk-though of how the system worked, what to watch for, how to change the filters, and other regular maintenance tips and tricks. We've had them out every year since for regular maintenance and each time it has just been an absolute pleasure. They truly care about their customers and we are customers for life! read more

These guys are great! They installed our new furnace when our old one died a couple of weeks ago. It was cold and they were very responsive. They rushed out and put a band-aid on the old one until a technician could come out with a new system. They sent Ryan out to do the install of the new system. He did a really great job. Very clean install, everything was labeled and he even took the time to double insulate some venting that was improperly installed originally. I jetted home at lunch and Ryan took the time to show me the new system and give me some pointers on how to best set my thermostat for efficient use. The house is nice and warm when it should be now. I feel really good about my new system and, NCS in general. If you are in need of some heating or AC...you won't go wrong with these guys! read more

Northwest Comfort Systems is a fantastic organization. They understand the concept of a long term relationship. They do not upsell the customer. A friend recommended NW Comfort Systems 4 years ago. We had 2 issues with our furnace, and everything was serviced for a reasonable price, and in a timely fashion. You may not get immediate service, as their excellent reputation precedes them, and they have a large book of business. You will get timely service, and "above and beyond" customer care. Northwest Comfort Systems are a fantastic company. We contacted them for the install of a forces air AC system and they were very responsive and quickly set up a consult. Larry came by our home and I walked him through the house, showed him our setup and told him what I was looking for. He was able to quickly provide me with information on what he felt would be the best system for us and even helped ID that our furnace (which was 14 years old) was near the end of it's life. This may sound like an upsell, but actually he gladly provided us two quotes, one for just the AC and an additional one to replace the Furnace while they were doing the work to save on some labor costs of doing it twice once it failed. The bid was detailed, complete, and had no hidden fees or extras. All the work was documented and accounted for and I didn't need to pay anything above the estimate. The workers were professional, very polite and kind to my dogs and children, and did a great job getting the work done in a clean and efficient manner. I would highly recommend them for any of your needs and will gladly use them again if I need additional services. read more

Larry came to service the furnace in a home we just moved into. We used Northwest Comfort systems in the past and were happy with their work. Larry told me I needed a new furnace because the heat exchange unit was cracked and using the furnace in such condition would be dangerous due to carbon monoxide emissions. He sent us a quote for the job. I also had a 2nd quote from another vendor who found no problem with the heat exchange units. I had another independent inspector look at the furnace who also found no problems. The 2nd company installed a new furnace for us after going without heat for ten days. This company left me with the three heat exchange units from the old furnace They did not show any cracks. I still have these in my possession. I suggest that you get a 2nd opinion if Larry suggests a new furnace based upon a heat exchange unit crack. read more

This company is great! We just had a new furnace installed. We worked with 3 of their installers (Larry, Kevin and Ryan) from beginning to end and every single person was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They will also price match and already have low prices. The installer, Kevin, also helped us program our thermostat and took a lot of time to answer questions and show us how to properly care for the unit. I would highly recommend them if you are looking. It's really too bad that I have to write this review. We have used this company over the span of a decade or more for heating, cooling and hot water needs. When I called them for our latest need the receptionist blew me off. When the person never showed up I called again and she said they were just really busy and did not have time to do the small job that I needed done. That they had bigger more important jobs. I hope they remember that when things slow down for them. We will find another provider for our needs. read more

NW comfort systems was recommended to my by my boiler technician and I was not disappointed. They came out and did a fair and honest and thorough estimate, Getting big repairs done on such a large facility is never easy, but even though it took them a while I felt they did a fantastic job. We are so pleased with this company. We didn't know at the time we were going to need a new furnace, and Larry went out of his way to get us set up with something we could afford. The installation team of Kevin and Ryan were outstanding. Not only did they install it in about 3 hours, but Kevin explained everything in clear directions. He even marked items so we would know what to do in an emergency, or to change the system. I would recommend these people to everyone. I was freezing with no heat. A friendly man came by our house within two hours. He said there was nothing wrong with our furnace because the off switch had been tripped when the furnace door was left ajar. He also said it looked like a relatively new furnace which should be under warrantee with the company that installed it should there be a problem. But there wasn't a problem...he closed the door and the furnace started. He charged me nothing. He was a very nice man. read more

We are a union painting contractor and when we needed to replace our heating/cooling system I reached out for 3 quotes on reputable companies in the area. NW Comfort was the only company to show up, even after 2 months. When Mike came out to quote us I could tell right away that they were very professional and knowledgeable. I had no doubt we would be taken care of. They guys just finished not only our system but our tenants next door as well.
