AVOID this company if you value your time and money. $700 and 2 months later, and my squirrel problem is exactly the same as it was when they started. Search for "Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control" (their other name) and read the reviews there for more accurate descriptions of their services. A tip: if they reassure you that their methods are reliable and work well, just know that's NOT TRUE for everyone, and they'll do absolutely nothing to help you after you've already sent them the set-up fees. They caught one squirrel that wasn't even one of the ones that live in my attic, and left it in the trap a full 24 hours before picking it up, which made all the other squirrels avoid the traps from then on. I'm holding back tears as I write this, because I feel so confused, frustrated and misled, as I try to WFH while listening to the squirrels running around in my attic. Note that the employees I've interacted with are friendly and kind. But the company's management and approach to pest trapping are totally lacking and unhelpful. read more

Spent over a thousand dollars with this company. They did a bait and switch on us. When we called for a quote for our raccoon problem they told us they would do an inspection for $175 plus tax and if we decide to get traps ($350 plus tax) they would refund us the inspection cost. After I asked for the refund the manager Rick said that we misunderstood and that we would have get the traps done the same day as the inspection which we were not told it had to be on the SAME day! He kept saying we misunderstood but there was no misunderstanding,. The first day we had the inspection the tech said he guaranteed the coyote urine they sprayed in our attic and backyard would prevent the raccoons from returning. That didn't happen and the raccoons came back many times afterwards. We ordered the traps but never got the inspection fee refunded. Sebring the technician was very nice but some of the office staff doesn't respond to emails or call back. They said because there was an emergency in the family but the other manager never responded either. They charge you ($175 plus tax) each time they come out (pick up of raccoons, re-bait). I asked them to put the trap on the roof at the entry point of the attic. They said they cannot do that but later through the process, they did. We did some legwork ourselves to help with the process as well since nothing was happening for a few weeks which we believe helped catch the raccoons. I wouldn't recommend this company but if you use them make sure Sebring is your technician. He's the only one that has the customer service skills! read more

I hired Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control 1 month ago to trap some pesky beavers that were having a very negative effect on the stream flows thru a culvert that conveyed water under a private road that served over 80 residence's. After 3 weeks they had trapped 8 beavers which appear to have solved our problems. Rick and his crew ( namely Sebring) have done a fantastic job on both trapping the beavers but also communications with me on the continued path forward. NOT happy with charges. We were told it would be a $150 charge to go out to our rental to check out a bat was sighted in our rental. The next day a representative called to tell us that someone was out there, and that our charges would now be closer to $500. No report, not news of what they found, nothing. Just "It will be more." I asked them to please tell me first what they found. The say they caught bagged a bat, so that would be an additional $250. Then they did an inspection for holes, and that would be an additional $100. What the heck??! Next thing I know there is a charge on my credit card for over $600. I still have not seen an invoice, details, inspection, or any evidence that they actually caught a bat (my tenant was not at the appointment, so she can't confirm what they did). read more

Awful - we paid $400 to have baby tree rats live trapped and were told they would continue to come back until the issue was taken care of. Every single rat we caught escaped within a couple of hours, and NNWC only returned 3 times over the course of 10 days. They then informed me that "until it was taken care of" actually meant "or 10 days, whichever was sooner." When I contacted NNWC to reset the traps I had to call and email repeatedly to get a response, and then they would come a couple days later. Not very helpful. After $400 in fact the only rats that were caught were from my own home made traps (toilet paper roll with peanut butter at the end, hanging over a garbage can on one end and the balcony on the other.) My traps worked over and over. Maybe NNWC should check out ehow.com or simply say heyyy... we actually have no idea how to catch rodents. Our last correspondence I was told by one of the employees they would be refunding me at least some portion of my fee and to wait to hear back from management or an owner. In fact I never did hear back. Surprise surprise. I feel bad for their employees like Nick who seem to want to help but aren't empowered to do so. read more

Technician was very knowledgeable and took his time assessing my property, explaining what the animals were doing that resulted in plant destruction, and the best methods for eradicating them. He answered my many questions and was honest about what works and what doesn't work, along with how long each option would be effective. Folks in the office were very friendly. I had raccoons in my attic but they had left on their own. I wanted to find the entry points and seal them off, so I decided to hire Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control A technician, Devin, came in and did the inspection by getting up the attic and walking around the house. But he said he could not find anything. He could not get on the roof because of the rain, which was understandable. He suggested me to schedule a second visit, which I did. Later in the day, I decided to get to the attic myself to check one more time. This time I could actually find one screen that was tore open. There are quite a bit of poops near that opening. I was pretty positive this is the entry point. I feel that if the technician had just been a bit more thorough when he got to the attic, he would have easily found this tore screen and fixed it right during the visit and saved us the trouble of having to make another appointment and wait three more days for it. I emailed the problem to the company but never heard back. I also called their office to complain. The lady who took my call said she would tell the manager and the manager would call me the next day, which never happened. Please stay away from this business. read more

To be fair, I must be clear that I hired this company more than 5 years ago. I recently stumbled across the business card. I am disappointed to see that they are even still in business. My experience was so bad, I would strongly encourage everyone to hire anyone else. More fairness here: At that time I was freaking out about rats in the attic. I made emotional decisions and I threw money at the problem. Later I thought it through and I realized that I had been tricked by the person who came to my home from NW Nuisance Wildlife Control. He put a ladder next to the house, climbed it to the edge of the roof, but he did not step out onto the roof. He looked around and moved around and then climbed down. He told me to go up the ladder and see the rat poop. I know now that rats do not poop in a little pile, right out in the open like that. I feel like such a fool that I did not figure it out in the moment. He put the poop down himself. read more

2017 Review. Good Experience getting help with Squirrel who had taken up residence in our eves. Company called back promptly and found time to get us in the schedule the same week. Tech's arrived, scared squirrel out of eves and we settled on exclusion work with a one way trap door versus setting traps and removing squirrel from the area. This cost less and so far, it has worked. Company followed up after the weekend to see how things were going. Techs were courteous and nice to work with. Costs were clear up front. I would use them again without hesitation. read more
