This is a first class professional paint and body shop. I had to have my frame replaced and some rear quarter panel and rear door work on my 2024 pick up truck. I was extremely concerned knowing that there were a lot of moving parts to get everything back to pre wreck status. I got my truck back a week ago and it rides just as good if not better than before the wreck. The communication was on point and they kept me up to speed on the progress. I would have left a 5 star review for the bodywork repair but after having the car back for a couple of days I found out the horn didn't work. After taking it back for a tech to look at they said I didn't have one. I had one when I left the car with them. They had to replace the front bumper due to damage on the drivers side from a side swipe. There was previous damage on the passenger side but nothing that would cause there not to be a horn. Now I have to put out more money to replace a part they refuse to admit they didn't put back when reassembling. I will not go back or recommend. read more

I was rear ended upon moving to SC back in the late summer '22. I waited 8 months for a service repair to my back bumper. When I dropped my car off the on issue was with the rear exterior end of my car. I waited 2 weeks for the repair as promised but at the end of the day on Friday after the 2 weeks I received a call saying that it was totaled and the insurance company would be taking my car. I said that was not how I wanted to proceed and that I wanted to pick it up. They said well we already took it apart we can't do that. I proceeded to tell them that was unacceptable and bad business practice. I was able to get them to put my damaged rear end of my car back together so I at least have a vehicle to drive. When I went to pick the car up everything seemed fine except the entire inside of my roof lining was loose and areas were falling down. Their response was it failed ... while sitting on their property I find that very hard to believe. Also the back passenger side panel is loose and looks like it was removed by them at one point. I am appalled at the lack of communication, the decency to have customer service values and to give a car back to the owner in the same state it was received. I am a USAA member and they did not do an outstanding job at all. I will be reporting them to USAA as well because they should not be labeled as a star preferred vendor. I cannot say enough good things about Norton & Richardson Body Shop. A lady hit me in the Walmart parking lot in October, and dealing with her insurance was a nightmare. I finally floated the repairs through my insurance. My fiancé is a tow truck driver, so I have the inside on who's the best to handle repairs. Almost every other driver recommended Norton hands down! They did amazing! The attention to detail (washing and vacuuming my car even the trunk) customer service, and letting me know about two serious safety issues that weren't accident related but could have cause problems was phenomenal. My husband went in to get an estimate on a paint job on his truck. The person he spoke to evaluated the job and came back with "around $7,500". WTH???? This is a small pickup truck and the 5 other quotes we have gotten have ranged anywhere from $1,400-$3,000. So you are 2-1/2 to 3 times more expensive? Oh, let's not forget that that is not including all of the items that they would "probably break", including the windshield. Yes, they said we it will probably be more like $8,000 when you include all of the items that will get broken in the process". WTF says this???? My recommendation, save your money for someone who know how to do work for 2-3 times less money and won't break anything on your vehicle. read more

I would highly recommend that you stay away from this repair shop. I had an accident three years ago and needed front end damage repaired. The shop kept my car several weeks and when I received my car back it had a scratch on the side which had been obtained while in the shop. I then had to take the car back and they fixed the scratch but held the car for 4 additional days. I had to pay for my own rental during that time period. Also, they charges the insurance company three times to paint the front bumper and replaced the front light with a recycled light. Three years later, the pain is chipping on the front bumped and the front light is foggy. The work was not satisfactory. The delay in correcting the damage was extended and they received additional payment from the insurance company for substandard work. Stay away from this repair shop. Kimberly T read more

I had a pretty bad car accident. I don't know how they did it, but my car looks better than it did before the accident. I have never had better customer service. I would recommend them over any other place in Summerville. Everyone in the office was very professional, followed up, etc. A side note: I observed a couple of kind hearted acts from the boss to his employees around Christmas--these folks have character. Haven't received my car back yet but as far as customer service goes they are mightily lacking. Scheduled an appointment to drop my car off 3 weeks out from the date and was told it would take approximately 5 days. Here we are 10 days in and I am being told well it won't be ready until sometime next week. Now I understand that things don't always go as planned but the lack of communication from this place is terrible. No contact with any of the delays except for me calling them on the days the car was supposed to be done, only to be pushed back again. I hope their work is good because the rest of my experience is poor so far. read more

Walked in to get an estimate and was greeted by 5+ competent personnel who were more than happy take care of my needs. Returned the next week to drop off my vehicle and get a more thorough inspection. Kyle was extremely detail-oriented, and professional. Right away they researched my aftermarket tail lamps to make sure they were the correct ones. They allowed a vendor to replace my windshield on another claim. I requested they mold my fender since it was warped for a while, they took care of that for no additional charge. Additionally they replaced my car's bad wiring harness since the bumper was already going to be removed which facilitated the opportunity to replace it. The bulbs however were bad and they replaced those at no additional charge. The body work and paint are flawless, as if my car had never been damaged. I felt the finish to check for overspray and there was none to be found. No orange peel, or swirls. Paint color matched perfectly. It was returned to me in 10 days time. The staff kept me up to date about the status of my vehicle for the duration and were extremely polite. I couldn't be more pleased with the staff and Kyle for taking care of my car.
