Only caveat that I can figure is that they are cash only (didn't see any evidence that they took credit cards).

I would go out of my way to discourage others from using this company. He informed me that since they had never supplied us with oil before, they would need to inspect the tank before filling it. I expected a sales pitch, but he never tried to sell me anything--just straightforward, professional service. I called on Monday, and the delivery arrived as scheduled--actually a bit early, which was great--on Wednesday morning. Paul, the delivery tech, was fantastic. He's a very affable guy and we chatted as he did a very thorough job inspecting not only the tank but also all the connections, up to and including the burner. I was impressed. From the initial phone call to the inspection and delivery, the entire experience was seamless and positive.

My husband and I had a horrible winter last year with our old oil company. We had a new baby and it was stressful to say the least. We had to make countless calls to get the tank filled and it always came down to the wire before a storm. We also had issues with hot water all winter and the other company essentially told us to "turn the temperature dial" on the burner and charged us $300 for this courtesy. Monday night we had NO hot water at all. Medway Oil came right over, diagnosed the issue and had a repairman there the next morning. The hot water is fixed and one less thing we need to worry about this winter. I feel so much better with Medway Oil as our company now...

However, as soon as you need a maintenance call you learn to why. They have a large staff and come right out when you have a problem. They can handle anything from routine work to replacing the entire boiler and have an excellent plumber on staff as well. They come by once a year for a tune up on the boiler. They monitor oil levels and auto deliver as needed. In 9 years, I have never come close to running out of oil or had to think about it. For everyone shopping solely on price, I recommend you consider how important service is, especially when you need an emergency call.
