    Street corn bowl!

I work out of the Sidecar once a week and I treat myself to lunch. Nosh has been my go-to! It has moved into a bigger space in the corner Andy usual is the Mediterranean salad; extra rice, no greens, add chicken and avocado. I love how honey it is inside and the cashier is the nicest lady; knows the regulars like myself.

STOP HERE ASAP !! I was passing through Helena, and wanted to support a small local business & I am glad I did !! The lady at the counter was super friendly & def. didn't steer me wrong w/ my selections!! The Korean BBQ bowl was unbelievable !! So much flavor & the portion size was huge !! I also got the homemade chips w/ Bacon Onion Dip I loved everything about this small diner !! Give them a shot !!!

I stopped by here for some food not really knowing what to expect, as it was my first time! I came in pretty close to closing and ended up taking my order to go. I went with the Korean Beef Broccoli bowl, and it was DELICIOUS, really savory and flavorful (paired nicely with a sweet drink!) The lady who worked the counter was super sweet, and immediately stepped away from cleaning to assist me. She even complimented my name!! Great service, especially since it was pretty close to close. All in all, it was a really good experience. I'll definitely be back again!! (Especially since I really wanna try some more, like the Asian Pork bowl and the Fried Chicken sandwich )

Tasty homemade healthy choice. And soo friendly! The bowls were great. Avocado toast was delicious. Biscuit was fresh. Wish I'd had their potato chips that looked delicious. Everything on the menu looked like a winner. I would definitely return and recommend.

Wanted to try something different and was pleasantly surprised. The Nosh is a great lil place. Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff, clean and quaint surroundings. Enjoyed the jalapeño breakfast burrito....yum!

Avocado toast (no bacon onion jam) and Mediterranean Chickpea Salad (no rice). Deeeelucious!

Visiting from our of town and looked up places to eat brunch. I was not disappointed by selecting this little gem. The food and service was outstanding. It's more cafeteria style but they can make special requests. My dishes were so tasty. Literally, no complaints!

My wife and I just had a late lunch at this restaurant today. We both had the chicken teriyaki bowl, but they ran out of pineapple salsa so we just put some soy sauce on it. The portion was large and the quality of food was pretty darn good. The price point was spot on because of the quality and quantity of the food. My wife also got a piece of the banana bread, but that was fairly pedestrian and a bit dry. The staff was friendly, but it was mostly self-serve after you ordered. Take a look at the pics of the menu as well as what we had. I definitely recommend this place for someone that wants a good meal for lunch if you're in Helena, Montana!

Amazing food! And great service! I got a chicken sandwich, my husband got a pork burrito and my daughter got the apple ricotta waffle. All were soooooo good. Would go back.

At first I thought this place was some little diner that serves bacon eggs and hash browns only (and I love those places) but I was wrong. The menu had a bunch of super interesting stuff and it was quick and easy to order at the counter. I got the marinated pork bowl with peanut sauce and it was very good. The pork was delicious and the rice and kale were very hearty. Also got a black coffee that was good. It is kind of loud in there but the staff is very nice. Would recommend.

    Burrito

Try the Jalapeño Popper Burrito ! So frickin good! Easy to get a table too! Staff were great!

Discovered I don't like millet bread all that much but I won't let that stop me from giving this place five stars! The ambiance is very hip and trendy while still maintaining a cozy cafe feel. We sat down to look over the menu and we're immediately greeted and asked if we wanted some coffee. To order the main portion of food you walk up to the counter but that wasn't a problem. Mom got the bacon and egg toast and I got the salmon arugula sandwich. Mom's was the winner all elements worked together perfectly and the egg was cooked exactly to her liking! Give Noah Cafe a try if you want to support a good local place in downtown Helena MT!

Breakfast at Nosh Cafe with my DD
    Raelene V.

Having already had breakfast at Steve's Cafe twice we decided to branch out and try some place new. DD chose Nosh and we were more than pleased with this decision. This is a small cozy space where you order at the counter. The menus are on clipboards so we grabbed one and sat down to peruse. Lots of choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. The waitress came over and asked if we wanted coffee. They serve cold brew and drip. My daughter decided on the salmon and arugula sandwich. It was served on millet bread which she didn't particularly care for but everything else was great. I chose the bacon and egg toast. This is served on a piece of thick sourdough covered with an herb cheese. I asked for a hard egg and it was cooked perfectly. We loved the cozy feel and family photos decorating the walls. Vintage aprons lined the hallway. Some might call this place "hipster" but I think it was just sweet with innovative food choices. Parking is in a lot just up the hill but it was a very easy walk. If your looking for a unique and tasty breakfast this is a great place!

During our first visit, the door to the room assigned to us was propped open, most likely by housekeeping when they cleaned the room. During the second visit, the bed was not made. Both times the front desk personnel apologized and comped us with breakfast buffet from their lobby restaurant. The hotel is an older property with 2 or 3 floors. Both times the replacement rooms were okay. It was exactly what we wanted, a room with 2 queen beds. The bathroom appeared a little dated. The room was adequate for our needs. If they only gave us these rooms first. Instead of a lounge, this hotel has a "Pantry" where elite Marriott members could grab some snacks, like beef jerky and chips, and drinks and yogurt from their refrigerator. An espresso maker was also available. They also had a freezer with ice cream. The had danishes and other breads for breakfast. I liked having access to the lounge. It's an okay property, if housekeeping behaves. 3 stars.

Being Titanium Elite, Marriott will upgrade u based on availability. When we checked in and asked if an upgrade was available, we were told no. I was completely surprised since the hotel looked empty. She said the hotel would fill up later. Went to our room and went online to check availability - plenty of rooms along with 2 types of suites. Called down and the front desk was extremely upset we went online. She told us we still could not have either of the suites. We usually don't do this, but decided to call Marriott and inquire- they were extremely nice and just as confused as we were. The agent called the hotel directly and spoke with someone- our room phone started to ring and it was the front desk telling us we could come get our key for the room move and then she hung up! Husband got the key without a word being exchanged. Horrible service! Marriott should have higher standards- if considering Helena, choose a different Marriott property! Rooms are in much need of improvement as well as nicer employees.

The atmosphere feels homey, casual, and welcoming, with an extensive menu that makes it almost impossible to decide what you want. I originally planned on ordering breakfast, but at the last minute, the club sandwich caught my attention, and I'm so glad I changed my mind. The sandwich came stacked with ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo between three slices of perfectly toasted bread. It was fresh, filling, and absolutely delicious. Every layer worked together, and the bacon gave it that extra flavor and crunch that took it over the top. I chose tater tots for my side, and they were crispy, golden, and exactly what I wanted alongside such a hearty sandwich. The portion was generous, too, so you definitely won't leave hungry. Another thing I appreciated was how clean the restaurant was, including the restroom. For a place that's open 24 hours, that stood out to me. Overall, Shellie's gave me good food, generous portions, and a comfortable hometown atmosphere. I'd happily come back although next time, I might actually try the breakfast!

Once I saw it on the menu I had to get the GIGANTIC PRETZEL (GP). It was gigantic and it was a pretzel. Great crispy outside and soft warm perfectly cooked inside. Get it, you won't regret it. Place is pretty cool, since it keeps so much of its history, and the service is solid, but the food isn't great. I got a half sandwich and soup of the day, which was a chicken chile verde enchilada soup. The French dip was looking like it was sitting for a while under a heat lamp and semi dried out. Soup wasn't looking much better, and the chicken almost looked like a frozen package. Place is cool and great for watching a game and getting a drink, but don't hold your breath with food quality.
