Nosh in Hauppauge was an excellent experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, making it a great spot for a date night or dinner with a group. We were there with a large party, and the service was friendly, efficient, and impressively quick. I started with my favorite drink--a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives--and it was perfect. We also ordered the shrimp scampi flatbread to share, and it was absolutely delicious with great flavor. For my entrée, I had the short rib, which was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and not overly salty. In fact, that was something our entire table commented on. Everything was well-seasoned without being too salty, and everyone in our group was very impressed with their meals. The only downside was parking. It was a bit difficult to find a spot, but there appeared to be a private party or event going on, so that likely contributed to the crowded lot. The drinks were good, and the salmon was delicious definitely the highlight of the meal! The buffalo chicken egg rolls were just okay for me, but they didn't take away from the overall experience. The ambiance had a cozy, romantic vibe, making it a nice spot for a date night or a relaxed evening out. The food was good. First time being there. I had the blackened salmon it was made nice tender, good flavor and taste. I enjoyed it. We also had egg rolls. Tried Nosh for the first time. There had a large gathering at the bar which was a little noisy, but we were seated right away. The drinks we ordered were the My my Paloma which should be ordered on the rocks for the full effect. The smoked Hat was great! Nice blend of alcohol & mixers. Stopped by this local gem for the first time tonight for an early dinner with my husband. We started with the korean fried cauliflower and buffalo chicken egg rolls (both were amazing!) my husband got the french dip for entree and I got a burger. Both entrees were delicious! Came here for a business lunch. Sat at the bar. We got there just as it opened so the place was fairly quiet. Haley I think was the server. She was very friendly and attentive. Kept my water glass full. Service was very quick but she did not rush us. I got a bacon cheeseburger with Brussels sprouts. I asked for no bun or toppings but when it came out, it had the bun and toppings. No issue for me, easy fix. Just a shame to waste it. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bacon was nice and crisp and plenty of it. Very good. The Brussels sprouts were not very good. It had Prosciutto, Burrata, Arugula, pistachio nuts with a basil dressing, Delicious. For my dinner I had the Blackened Shrimp Street taco. The was one large blackened shrimp, which filled the taco. Great vibes, great location 3 mins off the LIE, amazing food, great staff, and really nice spot to grab food for any Occassion. We were greeted upon arrival by a gentleman in a cast and he was very inviting. Whole staff here was very sweet and very professional. Ambiance is very nice here and great spot for any occasion. We started off with lamb chops which were very good. They were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sweet tai calamari was amazing and we really enjoyed it. I asked our waiter to not over drench it with sauce where the calamari would lose its crispiness becoming soggy and it was executed perfect. For dinner my fiancé got the chicken parm which was 10/10 and very good. I order these black truffle raviolis which was one the best things I ate in a while. Creamy, flavorful, and just out of this world. For dessert we had the churros with cancels ice cream and wow. Everything here was great and can't wait come back here. Came here for an event! My friend rented out the back room for a small reception after her wedding, about 35 people. They had pass around apps that were all delish, I could've eaten a million more. Everyone also started with a Caesar salad that was great, and then apps on the table that were family Style. For entrees everyone got to choose between short rib, shrimp with risotto, duck and chicken Madeira. Everyone around me had each entree and everyone loved them all. For dessert my friend bought in a wedding cake and they had a cheesecake. From start to finish, the service was great, super attentive, and friendly. Came here on a Friday night-with a reservation and still had to wait 30 mins for a table. The place is really nice inside and pretty big. It took a long time for anyone to come back and check on us and we had finished eating our appetizers without even putting in our dinner order and had to flag someone down to order. Anyway on to the food and drinks. I ordered a Pinot Grigio but they gave me a Sauvignon blanc instead and my friend ordered a coconut martini but everything was separating in the drink, she had to keep stirring it in order to drink it-weird. The food was incredible tho!! We split the special-smash burger sliders, 470 flatbread and cream of spinach soup. It was all soo flavorful. The soup was unique and not heavy at all for a cream based soup and a generous portion size. For dinner I went with the scallops and mashed potatoes-again very generous portion size which isn't normally the case when you order scallops. It was so tasty I would order all of this again. We split churros for dessert and they were hard as a rock. I woulda went with the donuts option but my friend wanted churros. I had plenty of leftovers to take home and enjoy a second time.
