I found this place on the IHSS list of love scan places they work. I called to confirm it was open and someone was there since I was going on my lunch break! They answered and said come in. I went in, handed my paperwork, got scanned and left and still had time to eat before going back to work! Wasn't there more than 10 min. Although my fingerprints rejected, I called them and he said to come back to re do them. Scanned again and it went through fine and was accepted. No charge for re doing. Would recommend ! read more

Wow. Just left. Walked in based on Yelp. No acknowledgement. Incy binsy office. He asked why I was there. I told him a scan. He asked what was it for? I told him personal. He asked ok but what is it for? What does it matter? The form for the "personal scan" is a particular form. I already told you At least that is what he told me when I called an hour prior? It's one room. No privacy. Maybe your prospects don't want an audience to announce what it's for. Maybe it's just to see for me what might come up. I walked out. I didn't feel it was necessary to feel put on the spot in front of ur other clients. Some of ur clients might feel this type of request is personal. Heads up. Leaves a note on the door "Be back in 5 minutes" but is gone at least half an hour. Not interested in giving business to someone who doesn't respect the time of his customers. Response to Owner: Perhaps a more honest and accurate sign would've done the trick. When we spoke on the phone you didn't seem to care that I had been waiting. Don't get angry at me that you can't be more professional in running your business. I wasn't going to chat with Joseph but he asked what I'd be coaching which opened up the conversation. We chatted throughout he process and he was a really chill, down to earth guy. I needed a Live Scan (fingerprinting) for my job and called a few places today to compare "rolling fees". This business's phone was answered by a helpful young man, "Joseph". Their fee was only $20, and he seemed to know what he was talking about, so I chose this place. Well, I sure chose wrong. I had limited time, and my first question when I arrived was going to be, "How long will this take?" I never even got a chance to ask. When I arrived, the young man at the little desk in the little room looked up when I said "Hi", then went back to the conversation he was having with another person seated across the desk. I noticed a chair (I was not offered one) and sat down to wait. They both totally ignored me, and continued their relaxed chat. I waited a bit. Looked at my watch. Looked at their clock. Looked at my watch and weighed the inconvenience of going elsewhere against the rudeness of the clerk/owner, and the possibility that he had no intention of serving me at all. I left. He had plenty of time to call me back, as there is a very long hallway leading to his little office. Later today, I went to a different place for my Live Scan. The proprietor was very polite, and showed me the appropriate way to treat a customer. There are many, many places to get a Live Scan! Don't go to Glendale Live Scan... they might not like your looks. read more

I needed a live scan done in order to apply for my real estate license and I had no clue how to go about getting one. I searched yelp for "live scan fingerprinting" in Glendale and found this place. It was amazingly simple and Joseph Hartoonian - the man who helped me - was pleasant and helpful. I walked in around 12:30 and walked out around 12:45. Joseph asked me if I had the form I needed from the bureau of real estate. I didn't, so he found it online and printed it off for me. I paid approximately $75 total and left with two copies, one for my records, and one for the CalBRE. They made a seemingly confusing task simple. Proving personal information and your fingerprints to anyone should cause concern; however, you can trust your information will be kept safe. Appointments are easy and the owner is friendly.
