Very charming and neighborly, the kind of place you think about when you hear small town. After receiving a quote from another UPS dealer in La Crescenta for almost $200 to ship a lampshade to the East Coast, I went to the Montrose Mail Box with my dilemna. The new owner there was a tremendous help! I decided to bring my lampshade on my flight back East and he packed it for me inside two sturdy boxes, with plenty of strapping tape, so it would survive the trip in baggage. Not only did he give me his full attention, he did it in such a pleasant manner, and he did it fast since I had a plane to catch! I went there last week and it's Super expensive and they measure the boxes wrong purposely to charge you more so they make money. She added an inch to my box even tho it says the size on my box. Very sneaky and expensive place I'll never go there ever again. read more
