I typically order in advance, online, and have never had issues. Saturday, I ordered online, three bundtlets. Went in to pick up order and it was chaotic, with three girls at each register, no line, but there were a group of customers, one group, at each register and nobody else in line. They were trying to fix something with the people in front of me, so they moved to the side and one of the girls asked if they could help me and I said I ordered online and before I could give my name they started talking to each other and then looked at me and asked for my name again. They bagged up my cakes handed them to me, didn't say thank you or anything to me as they were still talking amongst themselves about the issue with the other customers that had been in front of me. I waited to the side, as my daughter was with me picking up her own order. She came in with me, but she was still waiting for the customers at the other register to finish. Another woman had walked in and walked up at the case looking, and I know between the six of them that they knew my daughter was next in line, it was very obvious, but they asked that woman if they could help her and just ignored my daughter. She ended up at the same register as I had been at...something was going on with customers who were in front of me...so them, then me, then them again....THEN my daughter. Got home, opened my bag only to realize in their CHAOS, they were too preoccupied to get my order correct...they gave me a lemon cake, however I ordered lemon raspberry and actually went specifically to try that one, so I paid for something I didn't want. I ordered a Blueberry Bliss cake but the few blueberries that were in it was in the bottom part only and not all the way through like the photo on the ad shows. I had an order for pickup Friday at 4:00. I got stuck at work and then in traffic, and showed up at 6:02 to a closed store. No one is answering the phone and it won't let me leave a voicemail. No one called me to see if I would be coming to get the cake today either. I guess they make you prepay via website and then don't care if you don't get your order. I needed to pick up the cake on my way out of town, and I'm not sitting around another night waiting for the store to open tomorrow. We recently had a large company function that required several dozen Bundtini's (48 dozen to be exact), and Lauren Danhauser with Nothing Bundt Cakes (Dallas - White Rock, TX) did such an amazing job from the quote process, order selection and payment, and delivery.  She went above and beyond in customer service and really made the entire process for us go smoothly and we couldn't have been happier.  We even had a last minute night before request and it didn't phase her at all, her response was "Not a problem, we've got it!"  She is the definition of great customer service!  We look forward to working with her again in the future. read more

One star is one too many.... Not sure I recall ever having such a negative experience in the positive world of buying a cake. I live in San Diego and my counterpart at work lives in Dallas. Nothing but Bundt Cake is a franchise and totally consistent - slam dunk right!?! Make a call, place an order, deliver the cake and maybe just email me my receipt!?! Nope. It took 3 calls and 2 days just to place the order. I should have called it at this point. Then the "Can I place you on a brief hold?" happened more times than I care to comment. I get it. It's during the COVID crisis. I was so appreciative just to get the cake to my friend but come on! If you can't handle the demand close your store until businesses are opened again! Seems that the owners of this location want to keep their staff under their thumbs. There is apparently 1 person able to email a receipt and you better hope that if they forget to provide the receipt you call back on a day this person is working. I now have waited 2 days and still no receipt. I asked a young gal today to please take a screen shot and text the dang thing to me! Nope. Can't. She "placed me in a brief hold" and apparently found someone willing and able to email me a receipt....nope. Still no receipt. Think twice about supporting this location. I called another location hoping to have them deliver the cake and they were out of the neighborhood and just didn't have the bandwidth - I explained to the owner of the location what I had experienced and she felt badly and apologized that she couldn't help me. Bottom line - customer service is everything and this place needs a "How to" ZOOM webinar sometime soon on how to simply take an order, deliver a cake, say thank you and provide a receipt. Silver lining - the cake was delivered and on time. I paid an additional fee to assure the cake arrived before noon on a Friday. The fee was as much as the cake. Never again! read more

Deliciousness Long Awaited in East Dallas Former resident of NYC with a penchant for fabulous baked goods was delightfully surprised upon walking into this establishment in Casa Linda. With bated breath I waited for the doors to finally open, Kathy Tran, manager and her direction with her staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The ambiance, delectable desserts and samples were first rate. Every product I tried was moist and flavorful. So much so, I find this my new hotspot for a discerning palate. She also has favorites and will not adjust to your everyday changing schedule. I had quit because she promised me a raise and then cut my hours once I got the raise although I'd worked for about 4 months full time and learned two positions in that time period. I do not suggest working here unless you want a strain on your mental health and want to feel like an outsider for months. I know due to favoritism not everyone had this experience but my mental health was at its absolute lowest while working here, I 100% do not recommend unless you'd enjoy crying on your way to work every day. So glad I have a location close by my place because this place is fantastic! The staff is very friendly and the cupcakes and cakes are so moist and delicious! My favorite cake is the red velvet, which has chocolate chips in it, yum! This is becoming one of my favorite places to stop by and grab cakes for special occasions. I had the white chocolate raspberry - and I don't even like white chocolate!! it was divine. that said, the choco choco-chip might just be this household's fave. I don't think it was the propaganda, more likely the dark chocolate with a hint of toffee flavor. The generous soaking of the BEST cream cheese icing over each cake just adds to it. Doesn't overwhelm, but allows you to enjoy every single bite EVEN MORE! And for $3.99 each, I considered it a HUGE victory to leave with only two. I like this place a lot. The cakes are very tasty and reasonably priced. The reason for the three stars is because the staff aren't consistent with customer service. My first visit was not pleasant. There were two staff members that were upset that I'd used a BOGO coupon. One of them actually said out loud, "I don't know why we do this coupon shit." The other one agreed. I was standing about 3 feet away. I almost didn't come back because of it, but then I thought that maybe those girls were just having a bad day. Luckily when I went in yesterday there were different employees working and I enjoyed my experience. I went in yesterday on 1/18 at around 4 and the staff were great, inviting and friendly! I used a BOGO coupon and bought 2 great tasting cakes. They even offered me a sample of lemon cake! It was super tasty. My advice would be to remind certain employees that customer service is a big reason why you have customers in the first place, and that in essence, we pay your bills! I never actually eat the cakes so I really can't comment other than my clients love them, so I'm sure they are very tasty. The cakes are delicious. Always moist and amazing. The staff however, eh... Sometimes the girls working are awesome, then other days there are very immature and unprofessional girls working. On my birthday a couple weeks ago I went in and got my free birthday bundtlet and also bought another. The girl looked at my coupon and still charged me for two. I paid for it without realizing, but then came back to tell her and she was so confused, didn't know how to give me my money back. These should be served at every occasion ever. They are moist and so tasty. And they make so many different sizes, like share size and don't share size. I like the don't share size really. I read the below reviews that some of the staff was unfriendly, but when I was frequenting their place April 2014, all the girls were very friendly to me and my niece and nephew (8 and 9 yrs old) who were probably eating more samples than they should have been. I try and be healthy and read ingredients and not eat stuff like this all the time, but when I'm in Dallas, I am here at least 3 times during my visit.
