I love bundt cakes and especially super moist and flavorful cakes. The franchise is a great concept and with product this good I can see Nothing Bundt Cake doing very well. The nostalgic decor is cute with adorable gift items and cards. The displays are extremely helpful instead of attempting to visualize tiered or stacked cakes. Various sizes are 8", 10", tiered (8" over 10"), bundtlet (minature), bundtlet towers (1, 2 or 3 bundtlets stacked and wrapped in cellophane), bundtinis (bite size sold by dz only) with 10 different flavors and 40 unique cake designs with whipped cream cheese frosting or plain. Don't miss the bundt cake under the dome for a free sample of one of the flavors. I ordered three bundtlets in a triple tower. No special occasion, just thought it was cute. You select the ribbon color, occasion and the card. I went for red ribbon and Just Because minus the card. It was adorable and only took a few minutes to prepare. We purchased a lemon, white chocolate raspberry and red velvet. All were excellent with the rich lemon being my favorite with the light, white chocolate raspberry being a surprisingly close second. The red velvet was rich and wonderful with tini chocolate chips in the cake. The cream cheese icing is the perfect portion with each bite. I will confess that when I heard the news that a place called "Nothing Bundt Cakes" was headed into the spot directly adjacent to MOD Pizza, I didn't exactly have the kindest response. I snickered. Yeah, I had visions of the Brady Bunch or Ozzie and Harriet or any of those old school, black-and-white television families with their perfectly coiffed hair and homes and delightfully perfect dinners and desserts. I mean, don't get me wrong. I adore that era having been born just about one decade later, but my mind just couldn't entertain the idea that a place wrapped around a dessert I'm guessing many younger folks don't even know about could possibly find its way into being a popular retail destination. Oh my, how I was wrong. Part of a growing national chain, "Nothing Bundt Cakes" is an absolute delight from the minute you enter its doors. Located in a relatively new strip center directly across the street from Fashion Mall at Keystone and right next door to MOD Pizza, "Nothing Bundt Cakes" takes everything you love about Indy's seemingly endless supply of cupcake joints and ups the ante quite a bit. I'm serious. Very serious. I love Gigi's. I love Flying Cupcakes. I love Smallcakes. However, "Nothing Bundt Cakes" is a little more stylish and, I'd dare say, even more substantial than you might expect. I mean, I'm sitting here noshing down on one of their "Bundtlets," their equivalent of an "individual" bundt cake priced at $4.25 for a single, and I'm honestly amazed at how much longer it's lasting me than the usual single cupcake order I might have someplace else. You can also order 8" cakes (decorated for $32.50, frosted in a bakery box for $22.50) and 10" cakes ($42.50 for decorated, $32.50 for frosted in a bakery box) or you can look at tiered options and "Bundtinis," essentially bite-sized bundt cakes sold by the dozen. Me? I went over to MOD Pizza for dinner, then decided to pop over to Nothing Bundt Cakes to pick up dessert and head home. It is a shame that they don't have a dine-in option, but that's a small price to pay for such a perfectly delightful experience. Other little perfections? The two-sided door was fairly manageable. This opens up to an open lobby with the ordering counter displaying their options and wall banners explaining them all quite nicely. They had two employees working and I was greeted rather quickly by a young employee whose enthusiasm and kindness were contagious (though she did forget to tell me about the e-mail club; my gut is she assumed I heard her from the customer before me). Nothing Bundt Cakes offers 10 flavor options and they even have a gluten-free option. No, really. They do! I enjoyed a single red velvet bundt cake that, surprisingly enough, made it home. I also have to give kudos to this employee who came from behind the counter and opened the door for me even though it was right around 15 degrees outside - above and beyond and very appreciated. Nothing Bundt Cakes also has a location in Fishers for Hamilton County folks. The interior decor is warm, welcoming and sort of caters to that retro-vibe that I spoke about in the beginning of my review. A bundt cake is a classic dessert and the decor carries with it a classic vibe. I instantly loved its warmth and vibrance. So, yeah. I was wrong. While the cupcake joints are still wonderful, there's room on the Indy dessert menu for Nothing Bundt Cakes and I look forward to my next visit. read more

I love love love Nothing Bundt Cakes! No matter the location you can count on the same great taste and quality. I like all the flavors but my personal fave is marble. I love that the cakes is moist and not too sweet, the icing adds the sweetness without overdoing it like some frosting can. I get the large bundt for friends birthdays and the bundtinis are great for bigger parties or kids parties. No worrying about cutting up cake evenly for everyone. I also love that if you need a cake last minute they have them ready plus you can get decorations for it in store. It's also much more reasonably priced than other similarly sized cakes. My favorite dessert is cake, and the cakes from these bakeries are the best I've found for three reasons: 1) Most importantly, they are incredibly and consistently moist. Cake is the only item where it is acceptable and desired to use that term, in my opinion. I want a moist cake, and Nothing Bundt Cakes does it perfectly. 2) Cream cheese icing for every flavor. Myself personally, I am not a huge icing fan except for a good cream cheese icing. Theirs is great, and to get it, I don't have to limit myself to carrot cake and red velvet like you do at most other bakeries. 3) While we're on the topic of icing, Nothing Bundt Cakes has an appropriate cake-to-icing ratio. I love cake. I want mostly cake when I'm eating cake. Since I was a child, I've perfected the "push the cake on its side and separate the icing from the cake" trick to eat CAKE. You don't have to do this here. The icing complements the cake. I do understand there are plenty of people who feel the opposite about icing. If you want all the icing, I've walked out of bakeries in the area when I see the icing on top of the cupcake is taller than the actual cake. There are many places for icing lovers. This cute store is right across the street from Keystone at the Crossing. They had a lot of displays to show you what the a bundt cake would look like and all the decorations you could add. They had samples! The lemon bundt cake was light and moist and had the perfect amount of cake to icing. I ordered the red velvet and the lemon. The special until next month is a peanut butter chocolate bundt cake. It look good! I wish they had samples of that one. They had so many options to choose from for whatever occasion you are celebrating. I saw the owners on Indy Style a couple of months ago. These cakes are spot on to satisfy your sweet tooth. They have big cakes, medium size and little bundtinis for any occasion. I go with the assorted bundtinis that come in a dozen, 4 flavors, 3 cakes each to sample them all. You can get custom orders but they take a little bit more time to prepare. If you want to grab and go, I suggest going with the preassembled assortment. You get chocolate, lemon (my favorite), strawberry and red velvet that actually taste like what res velvet should take like, something other than chocolate. The dozen will run you $20 but well worth it. This location is located off of 86th Street across from Keystone the crossing. When you go in, you feel like you are in Easter if you could go inside of Easter if that even makes sense lol point is, it's every welcoming with pastel colors, white and bright lighting from the openness of the windows. I came across nothing Bundt cakes right before the pandemic. I had gotten a coupon from my school for a free bundtlet. The bakery was amazing. You walk in the doors and smell all the lovely flavors of the cakes. The inside was so nicely decorated everything was tied together very nicely. I choose the confetti bundtlet, i have never been super big on sweet but taking a bit of that cake felt like transporting myself to heaven. The cake easily became my favorite. This is one delicious enterprise. I was at a Wedding for Amy and Matt last weekend. We had individual Bundt cakes instead of traditional wedding cake. It was a big hit I had a bite of the chocolate chocolate chip it was a party in your mouth, flavoring was delightful. My daughter had the Red Velvet which was consumed quickly. Thurs evening, I bought 2 cakes for Easter Sunday (I stated that). Today is Sat, - tomorrow is Easter - and cakes' icing looks a bit odd. Called store. Told icing contains cream cheese and must be refrigerated if not eaten within 3 hours. WHY did the clerk not state this?! It was a friend of mines birthday and she simply had to have these. When I day to you that these things literally melted in my mouth they were so moist, I MEAN IT.... I love to bake and I look for a certain type of cake when I purchase, they did not disappoint. I sampled the vanilla which had quickly become a staple for celebrating friends birthdays but my absolute personal favorite is the lemon. I can't wait to go back this weekend possibly to grab some for my Son's 19th birthday. Everytime I have ever gone in the service had been impecable and I am always so pleased to get my treats. I loveeee nothing bundt cakes literally all of the flavors! I haven't been in awhile so I decided to go today and get some Mother's Day treats! However I was not impressed that the staff were not wearing masks. A few workers had on gloves but zero masks there were like 7 employees....
